I haven’t watched the musical but I’ve read the book and saw the movie! It’s a classic.

The film is really good! (small spoilers) It does end a little differently to the book which annoys me in some respects because you don't get an explanation as to why she has her powers, but the musical has some things different to the book as well and it still works - I guess it's part of adapting it haha.

Oh I definitely understand some adaptations being annoying. Especially the Harry Potter movies, they left so much out from the books which irked me. Though surprisingly, a show I’m a fan of (I will not say the name as it isn’t PG 13) was actually better than the books, in my opinion.
