Secret Blossom Ball
This is a Moderation Post
Victor MooreNote: Professors are free to enter the ball and take an action in the same round.
Note: A thin smokescreen has spread over the pitch, resulting in -1 accuracy to all (1 round).
The Bag and CompanyThe third year @Victor Moore hadn't moved since last round. He was severely burned and unconscious, prompting several students to rush to his aid. @Amara Dragamior, who had rushed off to dance in the middle of the chaos, now rushed back to offer CPR to the boy. Thankfully for the both of them (and because the moderator was feeling kind enough to make this a wisdom roll in the first place), she just barely recalled that she should check if the victim was breathing first. Victor was indeed breathing, so Amara (being the suddenly wise person that she is), concluded that performing CPR on him in this state would result in far more harm than good. In fact, she very well could have killed him.
Next up to the rescue was @Ruka Tân, who happened to own Burn Healing Paste produced by the one and only Elliot Price. He applied the goop all over Victor's burns, and while there was no immediate effects to tell if it was helping, it certainly wasn't hurting the boy. In fact - was he beginning to breathe easier? Maybe his chest wasn't so tight anymore?
@Dealla Prince stood at the ready, offering to help carry Victor to the Hospital Wing if needed. And then - lo and behold - the red-headed @Nico Shymane swooped down from the stands, offering to take Victor on her Tinderblast.
Amara Wisdom Roll: 15 (DC 15)
Help is Here!@Marion Davenport was distraught with grief. Her eyes focused on a boy that had decided to let her friends burn. A boy who was trying to destroy her life and that of her friends. A boy who had abandoned his own date to the ball in order to carry out his hare-brained schemes: @Rafael D'Spacito. He was aiding his date @Lydia Cooper, whom he had abandoned long ago, after Ruka had pointed out that she was in danger (see fourteenth mosp section). While he was preoccupied, Marion pointed her wand.
"Flipendo!"
Rafael was sent rocketing onto the dance floor and into @Selim Faust from the force of the spell, taking 200 damage. Selim would take half that, suffering 100 damage from the Gryffindor Captain's body being propelled into him. Nevertheless, Selim would be able to get up and (with @Percival Rainwood) make his escape from the Quidditch Pitch. The thief had successfully escaped, but that didn't mean someone wasn't going to pursue him.
@Anastasia Beckett witnessed Marion raising her wand at Rafael. Even though she was severely burned and had also been abandoned by Rafael, Ana decided she was going to tackle the blonde. @May Moonstar had been about to offer first aid in the form of alcohol on burns, but (thanks to the moderator for even making this a wisdom roll) she thought twice about this, realizing alcohol on a burn would be severely painful and debilitating. It would've done much more harm than good. So Ana got to her feet no better than before, and she launched herself at the girl.
@Vladimir Athanatos called out a warning to Marion, and aimed his own wand at Anastasia. He was unfortunately stuck dancing on the dance floor, unable to command his legs to move between Marion and Ana. His spell, meant to deter Anastasia from hitting Marion, hit @Astrea Soleil Neptune instead, who had chosen to use her action to place herself between Vlad and Anastasia. Astrea had been unable to find a silver platter to deflect the spell, and would take 150 damage as she was knocked to the ground.
Vladimir's warning had been enough, though, and Marion was able to successfully evade Anastasia on her own. However, another spell suddenly came at the girl and knocked her over. @Opeila Seilun had cast the knock-back jinx, dealing 150 damage to the blonde.
Back near Vlad, @Ivy Bellamy got the idea to attack Vlad with some goblets she was carrying. As she charged him, @Thomas Lestrange appeared at Vlad's side and aimed to stop her. He successfully wrangled the goblets from her hands, but the momentum was there and Ivy ended up slapping Vlad instead, dealing 75 damage.
Just as out-of-place as Thomas, a girl appeared at his side. @Tyranni Whitethorn was on a mission. She had a feeling about the exact way Thomas would tilt his head, and she planted herself in front of him at the exact right moment. Without warning, her lips met his in a sudden kiss. What could possibly be going through the Slytherin girl's mind? The next words she whispered were for her and Thomas' ears only.
Back at the bag in the flames, now that it was unguarded, @Bridget Collins took the opportunity to try and levitate it before it caught fire. She aimed her wand and successfully brought it out of the flames. It had not caught fire, also thanks to the efforts of @Jack Burnett pouring (holy) water all over it.

Bridget Wisdom Roll: 21@Selim Faust and @Percival Rainwood successfully leave the ball
The SwarmThree people entered the ball looking severely out of place. Not because of their outfits, but because they were adults. @Artemis Vernatis, @Kateri Karr and @Cypresse Lian had finally arrived at the bequest of @Piérre Marchonné ready and eager to help! Surely they wouldn't hand out detention when the chaos and trauma of the event was punishment enough... right?
Artemis Vernatis' first move was to offer the broom he had arrived by to @Vincent d'Arque and @Santario Martin. The latter of the two was quite hurt with a huge wound bleeding from her chest. Despite accepting the broom, Vincent tried to carry the girl. Even though she was light, he was only a first year without substantial strength in his arms, and he couldn't manage to carry her properly. So, without missing a beat, he decided the next best thing to do was to use the broom they had been given. He took Santario's camera bag strap and fashioned a sort of belt between himself and the pained girl (considering this is a second action, I bet you can imagine how secure this is). He mounted the broom with her and kicked off, trying to leave the ball with her (a third action). They made it about 36 feet into the air before it happened. Perhaps Vincent wasn't a good flier, or maybe it was a burst of wind, but somehow the broom tilted to an extreme angle. Santario began to slide off the broom, and given the strap between them, so did Vincent. Without warning, they were free falling. In no time at all, both of them landed back on the Pitch. They were lucky to only take 70 damage, but it still knocked Santario's head and landed her with a concussion. Santario's camera was not so lucky. It smashed on the ground between them. The school broom they had mounted was stuck high up in the air, unreachable.
Another bid for escape was in progress as well. @Dan Palmer mounted a school broom as well and was about to escape. Knowing he had room for another, he tried to grab up the unconscious @Aurelia Notrésvace and escape together. Unfortunately for him (for trying multiple actions), he only made it 10 feet in the air with her before the school broom jerked to a stop, bucking both of them off. It seemed like it did not want to give them a ride. Although only 10 feet in the air, they suffered max damage at 60 damage each.Victor Strength Roll: 8
Santario Concussion (50-) or Broken(51+): 50
The last bid for escape was not to exit the ball entirely, but to move to the stands. @Adam Harringtom felt like a hero for taking down a mosp (13), and he now chose to go on a search for a friend. The injured boy would stagger his way up a set of stairs to the stands.
Professor Vernatis had already moved his attention to Victor Moore by now. He didn't realize the severity of the boy's situation, offering the advice to get him back to the castle, before rushing off to fight a mosp attacking some students (see fourteenth mosp section).
@Kateri Karr - a rather new addition to the Hogwarts staff - arrived and described the situation to her blind colleague before aiming her wand at one of the fires.
"Extinguo!"
Her voice was joined by several students casting the same spell. All together, @Aaron Jones, @Atlas Reid, and @Thora Larkston aided in extinguishing the fire. Even though Atlas' spell fizzled and didn't work, her efforts were appreciated. Especially given the gaping hole in her chest indicating she had been stung not even moments before. In the same moment that the fire went out, Aaron was struck by a spell meant for Rafael. @May Moonstar had decided to take a second action, and her spell had clearly missed her target in favor of the boy next to him. The boy's legs were forced into a dance, keeping him firmly planted in that spot without control.
Kateri Wisdom Roll: 32 (to extinguo fire by ana)
Aaron Wisdom Roll: 17 (to extinguo fire by ana)
Atlas Wisdom Roll: 10 (to extinguo fire by ana)
Thora Wisdom Roll: 17 (to extinguo fire by ana)
May Accuracy Roll: 22 vs Aaron Evasion Roll: 10
DANCING - 1 ROUND@Cypresse Lian - the famously-blind professor - heard the word "fire" and was consumed with the urge to cast. Not to extinguish, but to transfigure. The wall of fire that had engulfed a table began to change and morph. It was like the fire itself was alive and twisting and turning to form a shape. As the professor's spell took hold, so did the form of a snake in the fire. The fire was soon gone, morphed into an enormous snake. It was nowhere near Basilisk size, but it was easily the size of the largest snake in the Muggle world: a 30-foot long, 550 pound (9.15m, 249.47kg) green anaconda. But this one was white.@Adam Harringtom successfully exits to the stands
As of this moment, there is no more fire affecting the pitch. It also seems like the smokescreen is beginning to clear slightly, soon to go away. The ball was still filled with lots of mosps and fights, though, so as @Asteria Knight entered the pitch, she was so shocked by the chaos that her hair turned pink!Cypresse Wisdom Roll: 40 (natural 20)
Tracking InformationSeventh mospEighth mosp@Crystal Jagger was a little preoccupied levitating a vase (see sixteenth mosp section) before noticing that @Lizzie Verdine was trying to get her attention. By the time she noticed, her action had been used up, but she was determined to help anyway! Both of the girls grabbed chairs from the tables they were near, and they charged at the red mosp they were engaged with. Crystal who had already used her action to levitate the vase unfortunately had terrible aim, and swung the chair wide. Lizzie who rolled a natural 1 also had terrible aim at the moment, and her chair swung wide as well. As the mosp flew up and avoided the attacks, the two girls ended up hitting each other with their chairs. Lizzie dealt 70 damage to Crystal, and Crystal dealt 40 damage to Lizzie. Meanwhile, the mosp above them dove down to try and attack the recently-dazed duo. Lizzie, despite having just been knocked by a chair, managed to evade the attack.Lizzie Accuracy Roll: 5 (natural 1) vs Mosp Evasion Roll: 16
Lizzie Accuracy Roll: 7 vs Crystal Evasion Roll: 6 (natural 1)
Crystal Accuracy Roll: 15 vs Lizzie Evasion Roll: 6 (natural 1)
Mosp Accuracy Roll: 2 (natural 1) vs Lizzie Evasion Roll: 22Ninth mospThe red mosp has been successfully struck by the Dancing-Feet Spell last round, but this spell only affected its tiny little legs and bum. Its wings still worked perfectly. So as @Atlas Reid and @Ethen Emrys ran away to help a friend in need, the mosp would follow at full speed. Its accuracy would surely be reduced by the jig its stingers were doing, but it would try to land on a target anyway. Luckily for Ethen, though, the mosp was indeed moving too much to land its stingers. The boy easily evaded the dancing mosp on his way to help others. However, the mosp only grew more agitated at the sight of Ethen attacking his fellow mosp (see fourteenth mosp section), so it followed after. It seemed its dancing spell had ended, so its next strike would probably be true.Who Will Mosp Target? 2 (ETHEN)
Mosp Accuracy Roll: 19 vs Ethen Evasion Roll: 25Eleventh mospAaron Jones had become preoccupied with putting out a fire, leaving his best friend @Lydia Cooper to watch his back and protect him from the mosps. She was a capable witch and he trusted her to take care of herself for the moment. And take care of herself, she did. The blue-haired part-Veela swung the music stand at the mosp chasing the duo, landing a solid hit and dealing 40 damage to the red beast. It tried to retaliate, but Lydia once again dodged the venomous stingers and turned her focus on the next mosp.Lydia Accuracy Roll: 10 v Mosp Evasion Roll: 5
Mosp Accuracy Roll: 14 vs Lydia Evasion Roll: 19Twelfth mospThe red mosp here on the dance floor was alone, its partner vanquished and burned on the ground. As it tried to figure out its next move, it took 80 damage from a blast of fire that came from @Flash Holmwood's wand. Although it was not set aflame, the mosp was beyond angry. It went to sting its attacker, but Flash dodged out of the way (again). @Willow Anderson tried to attack the mosp as well by throwing the torch she had recently acquired, but the torch missed the mosp and instead landed on the tiles of the dance floor.
"Professor Lian!" Flash called out, suddenly alerted to the professor's presence. Help had arrived, and it seemed to give the boy and his bleeding companion (Willow) some hope.Flash Accuracy Roll: 19 vs Mosp Evasion Roll: 18
Mosp Accuracy Roll: 10 vs Flash Evasion Roll: 18
Willow Accuracy Roll: 15 vs Mosp Evasion Roll: 22Fourteenth mospThis mosp was growing bored of the boy it was attacking. The floral smell of @Dale Kurt had faded. When a new girl @Katrina Walker approached waving some flowers, it certainly caught the mosp's attention. Rather than follow the flowers she had thrown, though, the mosp decided to attack the girl herself. Despite flying towards her quickly, the mosp's twin stingers only found air and Katrina was able to dodge the attack. This would not sit well with the mosp, who turned in the air, preparing for another attack. Is Mosp Distracted? 2 (NO)
Mosp Accuracy Roll: 14 vs Katrina Evasion Roll: 23Fifteenth mosp PhilipeThis red mosp came from the stage area, chasing after Aaron Jones and Lydia Cooper. It was the blue-haired girl that its attention stayed on, though, seeing as the boy ran ahead to deal with a fire that the mosp wanted nothing to do with. Before it could come close to the girl, though, it was intercepted by several boys rushing to her aid.
@Rafael D'Spacito came first, punching the mosp right in its face. He dealt 225 damage to the mosp, sending it reeling back. Next came a boy @Ethen Emrys, who had grabbed a chair from a nearby table and swung it at the mosp. He dealt another 40 damage, leaving the mosp near death. A spell that would've finished it came from the first adult to arrive at the ball, Professor @Artemis Vernatis. However, the mosp's limp wing led to it dropping from the sky, meaning the spell whizzed past an empty space where the creature had been.
The mosp regained its balance closer to the ground, and turned its attention on the boy closest to it now. It went after Ethen, but the first year dodged out of the way in time.Rafael Accuracy Roll: 9 vs Mosp Evasion Roll: 8
Artemis Accuracy Roll: 14 vs Mosp Evasion Roll: 15
Ethen Accuracy Roll: 18 vs Mosp Evasion Roll: 11
Mosp 14 Target? 3 (ETHEN)
Mosp Accuracy Roll: 8 vs Ethen Evasion Roll: 17Sixteenth mospPhilipe was still struggling to get free from @Charlie Woodward. The mosp used its action to wrangle its twin stingers and finally find purchase in the boy's leg, causing Charlie to recoil as he took a whopping 65 damage and a deposit of venom into his body. It was not a deep wound, but it was enough to make holding onto Philipe more of a challenge. So, as Charlie struggled to hold on, Philipe was finally able to escape. The mosp shook free of the sweater/undershirt combo that had been draped over it like a net, allowing it to fall to the pitch below as the mosp hovered nearby.
Meanwhile, @Evelynn Decipio had agreed to direct the broom. Although she had managed to get them farther from the pitch, they weren't quite out of range thanks to the struggle of Philipe and Charlie. Being on the same broom, it seemed if they wanted to escape, they would need to work and attempt to leave together.Philipe Accuracy Roll: 15 vs Charlie Evasion Roll: 14
Charlie Strength Roll: 18 vs Philipe Strength Roll: 19Twenty-first mosp@Crystal Jagger used her action to set the vase of flowers on a table far from everyone else. This mosp maintained its peaceful quality, completely distracted by the vase of flowers and unbothered by what was happening at the rest of the ball. It seemed Crystal had kept this mosp from entering the fray (so far).Crystal Wisdom Roll: 12Twenty-third mospThis mosp chased after @Percival Gray as he ran towards the food tables on one side of the pitch. It dodged a table leg that was thrown by @Wyatt Starkey, and it dodged the vase that was thrown by Percival himself. Angered by the destruction of the flowers, and the theft of them in the first place, the mosp continued to attack the boy in front of it. This time, the mosp managed to bury its twin stingers into the boy's chest, depositing another bout of venom with a much deeper wound than the one on his arm. As the mosp withdrew, it left a bloody wound and pain. Lots of pain.
In retaliation for his friend being attacked, Wyatt decided to try to torture the mosp with a spell not meant for living beings. He pointed his wand at the mosp and called out, "Reparo!" Unfortunately for him (as a result of being a second action), the spell rebounded and knocked him onto his butt. Had his attempt to torture the poor creature been cast properly, he probably would've done nothing more than give it a scar. The mending charm certainly wasn't meant to be used offensively. Wyatt didn't seem to learn his lesson though (attempting a third action), and he aimed his wand again. "Tarantallegra!" And again, his spell rebounded, perhaps from a lack of enunciation and concentration. The boy began to dance, losing control of his legs as they went about tapping to an inaudible beat.Percival Accuracy Roll: 10 vs Mosp Evasion Roll: 14
Wyatt Accuracy Roll: 12 vs Mosp Evasion Roll: 21
Mosp Accuracy Roll: 21 vs Percival Evasion Roll: 19
Wyatt Second Action? 2 (REBOUND)
Wyatt Third Action? 2 (REBOUND) | 3 Rounds DancingThis mosp was flying high above the ball, not interested in being victim to the smokescreen down below. However, a girl (@River Dewlight) suddenly appeared above the smokescreen, having just mounted a broom (from the stash or from @Janet Jackson) and kicked off. Attracted by her sudden appearance and agitated by the smoke below, the mosp flailed its proboscis and suddenly flew straight at her with its stingers outstretched. It found purchase, digging the weapons into her arm and dealing 134 damage to the second year.Mosp Accuracy Roll: 18 vs River Evasion Roll: 7

Secret Blossom Ball
Percival couldn't breathe there was so much smoke in the air.
Panic rose to his chest as he wondered what to do. He was glad that the other boy he had stayed with had decided to take action.
The boy ended up following after Selim as quickly as possible the pair ran for what seemed forever.
Even as he ran he could still feel the claustrophobic feeling the smoke had caused.
The air slowly turned to a cooler temperature showing that the pair had made it.
Tears streaked down his face as he realized he could have died. They could have died.
Percival joined the other against the wall glad to feel the cold stone against his hot face.
The boy was sweating, and his shirt was probably ruined now.
He was just glad they were away from the fire. The feeling of ghost fire danced across his face.
Percival stared forward blankly, not really taking in anything. The boy was lost in his own thoughts.
The boy glanced towards Selim as he heard the recognizable sound of knives being sheathed. He had almost forgotten his dormmate tried to stab someone.
Percival's breath rattled as it caught in his throat as the other finally spoke.
"My name's Percival. Percival Rainwood." he said his throat scratchy and raw.
He watched the other nod at his explanation, and he could guess by the curious look the other still had questions.
The boy wanted to tell the other that they were dormmates, and that they just haven't interacted with one another much.
"We need to go." he rattled out.
Percival grabbed the boy's right hand, and pulled him into a standing position.
The two continued running back towards their dorm.

Secret Blossom Ball
Interacting with: @Janet Jackson @May Moonstar
Her ankle was killing her.
Ariana was temporarily distracted by the arrival of an acquaintance of hers, May Moonstar.
“Are you guys alright? Y~you need my help?”
Although it was clear that the hufflepuff was only trying to help, Ariana was feeling unfortunately bad tempered at this point, and she swung round, gritting her teeth in pain as she wobbled involuntarily on her bruised ankle.“N-Not now May!” She managed to get out through her teeth, before glancing back down to her foot. “I~is Ari alright? Sh-should I call someone else?” Ariana had barely noticed that she had taken a hold on Janet's arm to steady herself. Gathering her thoughts together and pushing the pain out of the way, she stood upright, “you want to rest or what? Do you know the Extinguishing spell?” What? How was that going to help? Janet had already mistakenly blinded them by taking that action. “No I don't know it, and in any case I bloody well can't get over to the flames, I don't plan to either, unless you want to be roasted to death!” She voiced the last part bitterly. In truth, she badly wanted to help, the screams were agonizing to listen to. Although now that her outburst was over, she felt ashamed for the way she had snapped at her friend. “I- I'm sorry May, I didn't mean too, I'm just annoyed that's all. I won't rest, no time for that- I'm going to try and fly out of here, unless-” She paused to look at May for a second, “how are you getting away from the ball?” She questioned.

Mentioning: @May MoonstarInteracting with: @Ariana WalkerThe fire seemed to be dying down a bit and the dancing orange flames seemed to get further in the distance as they grew smaller, Janet couldn't see the exact reason for them disapearing but she was grateful for whoever had done it. The thick cloudy grey smoke was still lingering in the air however.
Ariana seemed to be limping a bit but before Janet could direct her attention to making sure she was okay she was surprised by the arrival of none other than May Moonstar, a personal friend of hers.
“Are you guys alright? Y~you need my help?”
Janet opened her mouth to respond but before she could get out a word she was surprised by a sudden coughing fit, the smoke from the fire had clogged up her throat and she gasped struggling to breathe.
“N-Not now May! Said Ariana angrily.
“I~is Ari alright? Sh-should I call someone else? you want to rest or what? Do you know the Extinguishing spell?"
“No I don't know it, and in any case I bloody well can't get over to the flames, I don't plan to either, unless you want to be roasted to death!”
Janet couldn't blame Ariana too much for her sudden outburst, she knew that May was only trying to help and she was grateful for it, but the ball hadn't exactly gone to plan and on top of the fire and the mosps no one was in the best of moods.
“I- I'm sorry May, I didn't mean too, I'm just annoyed that's all. I won't rest, no time for that- I'm going to try and fly out of here, unless-” She paused to look at May for a second, “how are you getting away from the ball?”
That was indeed a very good question, as far as she could see May didn't have a broom on her, Janet didn't have time to worry about this however as she started coughing uncontrollably.
She needed water.
Janet didn't want to hurt her throat even more by talking so she merely nudged Ariana and pointed to her throat and then to the tables. She was beggining to be able to breathe more easily however and she noticed that the fire seemed to have disapeared completely by now and the smoke was clearing, she didn't know where it had all gone so suddenly but she didn't have time to worry about that, she simply had to get to the tables and the jugs of water. She could breathe but her throat was still painfully dry and she needed to quench her thirst. Hearing the screams of her fellow students made her feel awful, she should be doing something to help them, but she was useless... anyway she had to focus at the task at hand, get some water and then escape before even more harm could come to her or Ariana who seemed to have an injured ankle that was obviously causing her pain, maybe she would be able to bandage it up with a wet cloth or something? All the more reason to get straight to those water jugs.Action: Getting Ariana's attention so they can go to the water jugs by the tableStamina: 6

When your vision is blocked by smoke and the sound of spells being cast is obvious, the first thing that most people would probably react is to panic. Add in not liking conflict and Logan was in full blown panic mode. Instinctively, Logan grabbed hold of Elsian's hand and gripped it tightly as the smoke around them blocked most of the view. The little Hufflepuff could just see the outline of the girl they were following and over the sound of yelling and spells being cast she could hear the question of what their names were.Interacting With: @Elsian Cox @Alexis Asterion
"Probably not the greatest time for small talk, kind of being attacked." Logan muttered as she followed behind. She was stressed out and she knew that she shouldn't be rude about it. "Logan, my name is Logan." She wasn't going to answer for Elsian, he could answer himself if he felt like it.
At this point Logan just wanted to leave. The voices around her were just combining together but a few voices were the most prominent.
"Guys, do you hear the professors?" she called out the the other two, now gripping Elsian's hand like her life depended on it. She was honestly scared of what the outcome of this event was going to be now. How many people were going to end up injured or in trouble?
"We need to find a way out of here before one of us gets seriously hurt," Logan again called out to the other two, keeping the other girl in her sight, afraid to lose her in the smoke and crowds of students.
At this point Logan didn't even care about the mosps, they all seemed to be distracted at this point and were attacking someone else. The chances of them getting attacked seemed mostly slim at this point, although they were wild animals and their actions were unpredictable.
Action: Following @Alexis Asterion, trying to get them all to leave the chaos before someone get seriously injured.

Everything was moving too fast from getting stung to being loaded onto a broom. Something didn't feel right though like this nagging thought in the back of Santario's head that walking would have been much safer with a physically unstable person… Hindsight is 20/20 after all, and the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
In a staggering instant, time slowed down to an excruciating pace when the broom started to shift up. San tried to will herself to react faster as her time on the quidditch team, before she lost her love of the game, had made her quite skilled on a broom. Alas, the venom was working its wonders, and she started to fall, pulling Vincent with her. The thing about bags of any kind is that they are only meant to hold a specific weight, and the heft of the two kids was more than enough to make the latch break as her body pulled his.
Falling, was a funny thing.
Weightless, but not, and at gravity’s mercy.
Pray, the mistress was feeling kind today.
Weightless, but not, and at gravity’s mercy.
Pray, the mistress was feeling kind today.
Her long raven tresses flew up as she fell, causing a sort of tunnel vision leaving only Vincent, her bag, and the dark sky in her line of sight. Her body hit the ground, first sending a shockwave of pain through every nerve in her expelling all of the air from her lungs with one loud and painful gasp. The thud of her body hitting the ground was very shortly following by the crack of her skull colliding with the thankfully grassy pitch. If it had been anywhere else, the outcome would have been far more devastating. Ringing made up the main sound that she could hear everything else was muffled as if it was underwater.
Her eyes were open, but everything was blurry one moment and sharp the next like a camera lens when you just couldn’t hit that sweet spot. On top of that, Santario was dizzy and nauseous. She was currently looking at Vincent and her camera bag, and she could see just enough of her camera poking out to see that it was broken. She looked away, turning her head slowly, feeling like she was fighting quicksand, to the other side looking out across the pitch as the blurry bodies scampered.
-From far away, Santario is unmoving. Up close, her eyes are open, and she is breathing.
-Trying to move Santario will be like trying to move a ragdoll human.
-Her responses are delayed – Looking at someone that comes in her field of view may take several seconds after they have appeared. Recognizing them and verbally responding may take longer.

═ ∘◦❦◦∘ ═Quickly, Lizzie knew she had hit something. It felt hard and ridged like it was holding something as well. As far as she knew the Mosp wasn’t holding anything. She turned to see what she had hit and gasped. Unfortunately, she had hit the girl who tried to make a good plan.
She felt a whack against her own body and fell to the ground. She groaned. They had both hit each other. The plan defiantly had not worked. Lizzie looked up to see the Mosp still trying to attack her. She quickly scrambled to her feet and got out of the way.
The Mosp was smart. It knew her intentions. It knew Lizzie wanted to hurt it. Except, the Ravenclaw did not have good aim meaning she had not hurt it in anyway. The one person to have actually successfully hit the Mosp was the girl that had gotten stung.
The girl looked around for any signs of hope. It was hard to see threw the smoke. She coughed and ripped yet another piece of material from her dress and placed it towards her mouth as a shield. It thankfully was slowly going away but it wouldn’t change how much all the students had already breathed in.
It was a surprise when Lizzie hadn’t realized the professors had started to congregate in the pitch. Some of them were fighting Mosps. People were even screaming their names. The raven had bad sight not bad hearing. It probably was because she was more focused on herself and the people around her rather than others.
She squeezed her eyes and slightly opened her mouth in dismay. The fire had been turned into a snake. She widened her eyes after seeing it near the tables. She had almost two things to worry about now. A Mosp attacking her and a snake that is possibly dangerous.
Lizzie twirled quickly and placed her hands on her head. She was getting a headache. It wasn’t her fault that this had all happened. Except, it defiantly was her own fault that she decided to go to the illegal ball. It obviously had to have gone wrong. It was planned by a few desperate students. What couldn’t go wrong.
The blonde looked to her feet and squeezed her eyes shut. She grabbed the sides of her hair and fell to her knees. She released a few tears. There was nothing she could do now. Everything was going wrong. Her ideas to save people were back-firing. Nothing was working.
"Who even planned this stupid ball?" She mumbled under her breath while still kneeling on the floor crying. The Mosp was likely going to try make another attack and would not become all of a sudden become sympathetic of the hysterical girl.═ ∘◦❦◦∘ ═

Ok. May was about to die of laughter when the spell hit the Co-Quiddich Captain, Aaron Jones, but it wasn't time to laugh, or snort, or giggle. A Mosp was attacking a girl over the other side, and May had to take action.
"I-I'm so sorry Aaron, I did not mean the spell to hit you~" she tried to apologize, while she looked, uselessly at the boy with his legs moving like crazy. Really, this was the craziest night ever. Moving to the mosp, she pointed her wand, and cried; Verdimillious!
Good gracious, Professors were coming, and if her spell was successful, Lydia Cooper would be freed from the Mosps hands. Really, May was doing her best, and couldn't just think of someone dying because of a stupid fire. She ran to Ariana Walker's side, and when she tried to help, she had received lots of angry comments because yes, May was a stupid little girl of eleven with blond hair.
At last the Gryffindor said sorry because of being mad at the little Moonstar, May was attracted by the Mosp that had stung River Dewlight, a Ravenclaw. Without even thinking, she casted her expert spell at the mops: Verdimillious.
If the spell would work, and River would be saved, and could escape, Sefer than the world. But if it would hit the Tavenclaw instead of the Mosp...May couldn't think even the slightest about it.
May looked as Janet Jackson made some odd mevemnets, and she immediately understood. Picking up a jar of water, and a little glass, she poured water in it and quickly gave it to Janet. "Oh gosh that girl is about to get killed! she cried, mitigating her nails, and waited for her spell to work...or not.
Action: Castin Verdimillious at Mosp #9 [Attacking Lydia] and at the Mosp that is attacking River Dewlight.

The mosp drew closer and closer to the boy as he stood there for the picking, unable to properly defend himself against its power. Percy slowly gazed behind it and saw a boy, who was not too far away throw a table leg through the fog, hoping to distract the mosp for his escape. However, the bloated fly had other ideas. It quickly managed to strafe to the right and keep its focus on Percy, who almost looked up to it in certain defeat now "Shite..." he grunted out while bracing for a imminent attack. And sure enough, the mosp struck with all its might.
Percy gasped out from the impact of the stingers going deep into his chest, injecting more of the dangerous poison into his already weakened body. He looked down to see the twin stingers removed, forcing him to take a few steps forwards, before suddenly falling back into the table with a lost look in his eyes. His body slowly fell down to a sitting position, limbs limp from the amount of poison that had entered his system. Stupidity was reason he was in this situation, and now karma had come to claim his debt. Big red patches of blood were covering his right arm and chest, and the pain was getting to a point of unbearable proportions, all he could do was sit there and look up to the animal with a far away look in his eyes
His plan had been a failure, everything he did had been for nothing, and now he was at the mercy of an overweight fly looking for vengeance over the theft of his beautiful flowers. The fact that his breathing was laboured and his face was turning pale was also beginning to make him sick, sick to the fact that his last memory would be a mosp stabbing him to death. All things considered, it wasn't the worst possible way to go....
Action: Percy sits immobilised against a table and cant defend himself if another attack comes from mosp #21.

Ariana watched, helpless as May shouted out comments to people around her. Really, everything was going crazy. @Aaron Jones Aaron's legs had been forced into a jig, keeping him firmly planted in that spot without control.
Her cousin @Rafael D'Spacito was being incredibly stupid in her opinion, and she yearned to go slap some sense into Rafael's thick head. First leaving his date to go off and form a stupid plan and then throwing god knows what into the raging fire. Honestly. It was only until her green orbs found witness on him being sent rocketing onto the dance floor, that she temporarily forgot about her anger at him, a gasp escaping her lips as she clasped her palms to her mouth, sick with worry and shock.
At the moment though this was one of her lesser problems. She was distracted again by Janet, who needed water. A worried look etched upon her features, she took hold of her best friend's hand, and walked over to the tables, grabbing another glass desperately and pouring water into it, her hands shaking as she did so.
She turned back around, her eyes glued on the scene around her. It was terrifying, yet she couldn't look away. Her eyes landed upon her nearest companions again and she instinctively rushed forward, the pain in her ankle forgotten as she marched towards May, in an attempt to warn her.
The hufflepuff had turned, in preparation to cast the Verdimillious spell and Ariana shouted out at her, attempting to grasp the girls arm as the May aimed to shoot “May!” She yelled shrilly, her voice higher pitched than usual, “That is not an attacking spell!” She sounded panicky, only because she couldn't stand anyone else getting hurt further than they were. “Don't!” whether it was too late or not, she took her chance, grasping hold of the material, she yanked the arm that held Mays wand, away, in the opposite direction.
Action: Stupidly attempting to pull May away from the direction she was aiming in.
