Hello! Hope this isn't too much
1) I would love some additional summaries to the Main Story Index, particularly some descriptions of the threads listed under 'The masked man apparition' and 'the final apparition of the year' - it would be really helpful to get a quick idea of what happened in each.
2) Would also love to know how much of what went on at Hogwarts last year is known the public?
3) FINALLY... 'To strive, to seek, to find' leads to nowhere. Not sure if this is on purpose?
Thank you! Happy to help with thread summaries (about to start reading now)
EDIT// Here are some descriptions I've come up with if they help.
Hufflepuff Campout
A night meant for s'mores and sugar comas turns dark when students are attacked by shadows and spiders, leaving one almost close to death. An incendiary goes rogue and in the chaos the Campout is burned to the ground.
Lock-In
Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs spend a night in the catacombs of Hogwarts as part of the school shut down after an attack on the Hufflepuff campout sees it burned to the ground. Max Avery is sad about spending time with the badgers and in the dark depths Siege Aramastus suddenly find himself tied up and pretty in pink. Strange dancing apparitions also appear and several students find themselves quite knocked out by the experience.
*** Very big thread so didn't get through all of it.
The Witching Hour
On an out-of-hours jaunt around the Castle, Eris Fawley and Phaedrea Favrou encounter a painting who forebodes a dark presence. Moments later they are attacked by the Masked Figure. Only a Flipendo is cast, leaving the girls shaken but ultimately unharmed.
Why Are You Even Here?
Siege Aramatsu tries to build a bridge with his old friend Serena Towers and the two end up sharing a kiss. Pity Serena doesn't realise it is the result of a well-placed Banishing Charm which had propelled Siege into her arms.

Newspapers just opened up applications. I suggest applying there, these are some very nice write ups. And yes, the Lock-in was a large thread, on average my posts were 7k, I don't think anyone has read that in its entirety.Florentia Thistlequill wrote: Hello! Hope this isn't too much

Hi! I have a suggestion (:
I think the owl system should be altered. I've found it a little confusing to sort through my owls, specifically the ones sent to the same person. It feels a bit unorganized when each message is separated from the others (placed in either 'sent', 'received', or 'flying', but not placed together). I know that at the end of a message, if it's not the first one, you can click on the 'previous owls' and it will show you the other messages, but I think it would be more efficient if all messages to and from the same person were kept together, and were automatically moved to 'sent' if you were the last to reply, 'received' if they were the last to reply, and then 'flying' if your message hasn't been seen yet. Does that makes sense? It would be very similar to how it is now, the only change being that the messages aren't broken apart. Basically, when you click the envelope to see your owls, you'd be met with three sections - sent, received, and flying - and then the names of your correspondences in whichever section fits the progress of your owls with them. By clicking their name, you'd be shown a thread of your messages, and the option to send another.
Thank you in advanced for reading and considering this suggestion, I hope it wasn't confusing!
All the best,
Meg Laefley

My request is that we create friend request buttons. It would make it easier and more convenient opposed to searching for them in the address book, and waiting to owl them. It would be placed under the profile picture section of the character's description, and the player would wait for a response via Remembrall, or separate section for only friend requests. If the team can't add this I understand, but it would save time, and be a lot easier when trying to set up RP's and making friends on this site. I love this site already, and am just trying to help the convenience of the players

P.S.
Open RP Section:
It's kind of difficult to find an open RP in certain areas of the school, so I was wondering if there could be a separate section in each of the posting sections. In other words, if I wanted to find an open RP to post in I would click the arrow directing me to the list of open RP's in the area, library, trophy room...etc Just like if I was in the Owlery, and wanted to access the 'Letters' section. Owl me if you don't understand, I'd just appreciate it greatly if staff could add this!

The best tip I could offer is to check out the "Messages Unread" button at the bottom of your screen. I believe that 's a list of the most recent posts. That should lead you to at least a few open RPs. If it doesn't have an [open] tag in the title, you could owl the thread runner to see if you could join.Donnovan Perrywinkle wrote: 22 Mar 2019, 13:44 P.S.

My only suggestion/question is about the books that we buy from the beginning and up. I wish we could read them. I do not know if I have to go to a certain place or not, but I wish we could actually open up the books so it could help us on homework, since we cannot use google. And most lessons do not give us everything. Like, how do you brew a Cure for Boils potion? It would be great if for every homework accomplished, more pages would be accessible for the homework unlocked.

This was a random thing I was thinking’s about yesterday—
There should be a riddle that is posted once a month, and the riddle has to be very hard. And the riddles answer is the ‘password’ to enter the common room, and of course this would only be for students that aren’t in the house. To add on the person only gets one try a week. The reason for these hard stuff is to reduce the amount of students entering common rooms from another house. And once they find the password they can get in at anytime for two weeks, and if they had an active thread after two weeks then they can still access it but not the common room.
I think this would be a fun thing!
Edit: oh and the riddles could be different for every three (or whatever) people who enter to find the riddle answer- another way to make the game even harder
I’m back. Jay or Deplorable ooc. Owls open for threads.

Going into other dorms is something that is not incredibly easy to do (accesses and modules for mods to do this) coupled with keeping track of who is in and out of a zone would require dedicated moderation (which requires time and man-power) which is sadly more useful in other areas of moderation and development at this time.
Does this mean you will never get to sneak into another dorm area -- probably not, I am certain there will be opportunities for moderated instances of mischief in the future as that is a viable idea.
