Amethyst hovered in the air; her eyes fixed on the Ravenclaw. One of their teammates were already down, it wasn't feasible for them to lose any other. Nods were exchanged between the two, although the seeker was not so sure why the chaser was nearing her. She looked down at the hand Sabrina had extended, blankly. It took her quite some time before she realised that Sabrina was trying to help her attempt, Alley Oop.
The Slytherin's ears turned red in embarrassment. Dido's commentary wasn't so helpful either. The Ravenclaw was quick to come to her defence, a gesture much appreciated by Amethyst. The cloudbreakers were a supportive bunch. A small smile tugged on her face for she was simply grateful to them.
The young heiress was about to express her gratitude, before she saw someone diving straight towards her.
A Blatch attempt.
Hastily sidelining herself, she waited till the other broom slowed down, curious of who attempted it.
Elisa.
A scowl formed on her face.
The moderator confirmed the Blatch attempt almost instantaneously. Amethyst stared at Elisa in disbelief.
Amethyst called her out "What were you thinking, Shakestra?" It dawned upon her that she had never addressed the older Slytherin by her last name before. Perhaps it was the seething anger.

Reducio
By a majority of the general consensus, I have decided to end this unofficial game. Feel free to post (or not post) after this to describe your characters' reactions to both the game's finish and Dido's actions.

Round 6 - Final "Mod" post
Dido could only watch as Ophelia slipped from her broom, just having been hit in the side from one of that stupid Slytherin boy’s overzealous bludgers. Icarus hurtling down from the sun. Just barely pulling her gaze from the hypnotic image of the falling child, Dido stared in horror at Jada and Remy, still sitting one behind the other. Jada, the girl with whom she had solved the labyrinth, was celebrating. Cheering. They had just launched a heavy ball towards another player. Who was falling to the ground! She was sickened as she sensed her own grin, thrilled by the adrenaline of watching someone go down, start to disappear. Who liked this game? Who.. enjoyed seeing it?!

Slytherins. Remy and Jada, sitting on their broomstick, twisted little grins stuck on their faces, were in that house. Thinking about it, so were the majority of the other players on the field. Dido-

Crash! Her eyes darted back to the falling- now fallen- girl, sprawled on the dirt, her broom just a few metres away. Was she alright? The fall hadn’t been that high, right? She would be okay.

Ophelia didn’t move or, at least, her prone figure was too far to see any immediate movement. A worried frown slowly materializing on her brow, Dido stared beseechingly up at the players in the air. Cecilia, the quidditch captain. Sabrina, the prefect. Elisa, the third year. Was it normal to just keep playing? Of course, Dido knew that, yes, it was normal. But like this? When she had actually seen Ophelia fall?

Twisting her hands together, Dido half-rushed, half-stumbled over towards where the Gryffindor lay on the dry, hard dirt, praying that she would find the girl unharmed and just sitting there through sheer exhaustion. As she approached, her fears heightened as, instead of seeing someone calmly postponing getting up, she noticed the ground up earth around the girl, tufts splayed slightly where she had hit the ground with force. How high had it been?

Just as Dido was pondering the distance, another, more pressing, thought struck here. Was Dido meant to do something? Had she been supposed to break Ophelia’s fall in some way? Was she meant to do something now? After the crash?

With a shout to those in the sky, yelling her intention with a sentence that only partly made sense as it mostly consisted of repetitions of “checking” and “I”s, Dido, once again, looked at the girl on the ground. She seemed alright? Probably? Either way, it had been far too close and, somehow, they had all enjoyed the stupid game and stupid bludgers. All at once, Dido was glad she hadn’t managed to join her house team. The ridiculous, blood-thirsty game was not the sort of thing she liked. At all.

She’s alright! I think!” she shouted up into the sky, aiming her comments mostly at Sabrina and Livia. Sabrina was a prefect so she would certainly know what was what and Livia… Dido wasn’t sure why she trusted the Slytherin with this nugget of information. Perhaps it was because the girl was on Ophelia’s team? Maybe her quick flying and efficient handling of the quaffle had convinced Dido she was the most competent? Or, possibly more likely, she was just the first face Dido settled on.

The game’s done though!” she added on hastily, forgoing the instinctual apology at the end of her sentence through a clenched jaw. Quidditch matches had done enough damage for the day.
