----Vale became satisfied enough when she called out one of her dolls in the stands. It was like her zealous nerves calmed down, and she was back to making supposed rational decisions once more. Her eyes, twisting and observing the battlefield, just enough to catch key information, like Hunter putting out the fire on Avery, and Liana pushing off Vale's spell like it was a fly.

Everything seemed out of place; in its own time. Somehow, this would only help Vale make a decision she saw best to execute. The young girl made a large smile. She knew what she wanted to do.

"Such a game of betrayal and short-term alliances! This is fascinating, Ming! Thanks for inviting me to a game of pain and suffering!" Vale laughed, clapping her hands together even if her skills so far appeared less than sustainable. Her dolls seemed to enjoy how everything was going, at least so far.

But as Vale crackled, she could hear Cody shouting about 'bullies.' Really? Avery, a bully? She didn't know much about the other boy, so she couldn't make such judgement on his own character.

If anything, Avery was just simply too friendly for such interactions; too naive, if that's the right word. But then again, maybe he did have such a cruel side of himself. They were both in Slytherin after all. Prehaps she didn't know all about the boy now.

Yes, that would make him quite interesting. Someone to study and play with throughout her school year. Maybe that Draven (is that his name?) too.

"Aw Cody, don't be like that! I bet you'd be the most horrifying dancer this side of the graveyard!" Whatever it may be, Vale would be sure to observe and remember every form of information she'd come across.

Cody was still acting on his own accord, but his temperament was aimed at Avery and Draven mostly. Through all his shouting, Della was able to concentrate on getting a hit on Hunter. Her blue bubbles bouncing around his head seemed to throw him off a bit as he tried to literally flip out of the way of incoming spells. She took her shot and successfully hit with her now-signature dancing feet spell.

Even in all the chaos, because Della's eyes happened to be locked on Hunter, she saw Liana slip back into her team's episkey rune. Did Hunter cause that to happen—on purpose? The Slytherin prodigy was usually more focused in a duel, so it was strange to see her falter. Unless it was a ruse—if so, Liana should join Hogwart's theatre troupe; the look of fluster on her face seemed real.

Vale was still whipping fire spells about. Taking her aim at Clair again, but, maybe from getting caught up in the moment as Vale seemed apt to do, her wand flung in the wrong direction. It soared toward Liana, who was able to dodge the careening spell as it made a wide arc. All of this made Vale laugh with joy. Della shocked herself by returning her teammate's laugh with a grin—Vale's love of the battle was indeed rubbing off on the young Gryffindor.
