Aurelia had Callie exactly where she wanted her and she was going to use that. A controlled bout of flames burst from her wand, and the Gryffindor took no chances with her aim. She perhaps could have afforded something sloppier with Callie's lack of sight, but it looked like she was treating it as she would any other cast, accuracy dead-on.
It would not be a very pretty sight nor pleasant experience as Callie went up in vicious flames. This last stretch of the duel, one problem just seemed to lead into the next for her. At least she wasn't dealing with two issues, managing to yank out the knot with considerably more effort than it usually took, fabric discarded to the side and sight restored.
And things weren't all bad for the third year, Delilah supporting with another healing spell to soothe over the new pains so that, save for being on fire, Callie didn't look any worse for wear. The continued choices to heal over attacking, though strategic, could really make this drag out.

WHY WAS IT ALWAYS FIRE? It truly was a question that was starting to haunt Callie on a regular basis. Perhaps she was a marshmallow in a different life..but that didn’t mean she wanted to in this lifetime. In truth she didn’t even like marshmallows all that much so she mildly resented her own comparison to the sugary bundle of marshmallow. In Callie’s mind she was far superior to a marshmallow..she was haribo at the very least.

@Callie Jensen | @Aurelia Notrésvace[font=Times new roman]The duel was still going, still going onwards and onwards. It was a great learning experience though that even two people that seem equal in power can still be mismatched in a duel, not that either team was currently doing better or worse than the other, but there was certainly some interesting things going on in this duel. Del would definitely have to work on her strategising some more.

Her spells cast were flawless, now hitting the target like they were supposed to. Would she feel bad for targeting the younger year, perhaps. But now that her teammate was not by her side, she had to take desperate measures. Maybe fire was taking it a little too far.

At this point, excitement in the crowd was mostly limited to spikes at impressive moments, waning elsewhere as the clock ticked onward and three duellists remained. That wasn't to say it was boring, all three still giving it their best and Aurelia finally really in on the action, but they were forcing each other to repeat steps in their strategy.
Ravenclaw was not in the best shape if Callie looked like she could fall to a single spell. Besides, fatigue would no doubt make her slower, more hard-pressed to perform well. Delilah could fix that, as she'd been doing all day. Emphasis on could. The execution would be tripped up this time, and instead of cooling relief, Callie would be treated to a sharp sting. Though considering the fire burning away at her, she might not even notice it.
Perhaps all that stinging pain was to blame for the fate of Callie's spell. The cast itself, another attempt at blindfolding Aurelia now that she was free from vision impairment, was remarkably strong, especially when seen next to her teammate's, but her accuracy was poor. Maybe she'd been startled or maybe she just couldn't rally the focus; it would be all too easy a sidestep for Aurelia, who for whatever reason didn't retaliate with a spell of her own, and the only change on the platform would be Callie's diminishing strength.

@Callie Jensen | @Aurelia Notrésvace[font=Times new roman]Preparing to heal her teammate she was a bit worried because something seemed a bit off, and it especially did when it blew back up in her face. Coughing a little bit as she watched Callies blindfolding spell miss completely, it was actually a surprisingly wide margin of missing. They really needed to get a handle on this soon or it could be all over before they know it.

Failure was starting to become a close friend of Callie. It seemed no matter how great her grades were, when things came down to the wire it all seemed to go wrong. The entire ordeal was rather frustrating and made the poor girl want to curl up under a duvet for a concerning amount of time. However that wouldn’t exactly be productive considering an older Gryffindor was currently out for her blood and all that.

Exhausting. Fuel was running low, no doubt due to her tiredness. She could feel the energy worn with every spell cast. Successful or not. Aurelia was getting tired. The cries of the burning Ravenclaw was bound to follow her into dreams later on. Rather guilt-ridden it made her. This match was long and tiresome. Aurelia's impatience was growing.
