He was really enjoying this hug. probably the best hug adonis had in a while`'its okay, i should probably start asking people before i hug them. some people don't enjoy them as me.`` he shrugged mid hug. he kept hugging and talking at the same waiting for her to pull away. Adonis didn't plan to pull away himself anytime soon anyways. He liked how she smelled but he couldn't quite put a finger on what the smell was. He also tried to sweep those thoughts away, thinking he was being creepy. His pale cheeks turn a bright red, almost as bright as his hair. It complemented his hair well actually.

He patted her back a bit , happy she couldn't really see his face. Adonis is barely moving, almost scared he'll move to much. ``i'm honestly just happy to make you feel better and stuff. i love hugs.`` you can almost hear him smiling through his tone. He bounced his foot without noticing it while he talked. He didn't hug that tightly, but still enough to make it seem like he wouldn't let go. like his mother said, some of the best hugs around.

” i'm honestly just happy to make you feel better and stuff. i love hugs.” Adonis said which made Lillian go a little bit red, but she smiled.

She managed to move her head and look up at him, noticing that he was red which made her go redder than before. She thought that maybe he wanted her to move away, but still she didn’t move. “You don’t mind it do you? I’m sorry...it’s a nice hug..” she said, but then she thought she sounded weird and she cringed at herself.

Lillian went to pull away. Deep down she knew that she would get scared and end up doing this and she was ashamed of it. But also deep down she wanted him to pull her back and keep hugging her. Starting to get more and more nervous, she pulled away, crossing her arms anxiously. “I-I’m sorry, you’re a really good hugger...I’m just worried..Because I don’t hug people a lot..” as she spoke she began to feel like she was being stupid and she looked down insecurely at her feet, fiddling with the bottom of her sweater vest and scratching her head, then she started tapping her foot with a sigh

“You don’t mind it do you? I’m sorry...it’s a nice hug..” he answered quickly. ``of course not.`` He realized she must've saw his face, and assumed he made her uncomfortable. He tried to think of stuff to make his face go less red, but nope. nothing.
he waited a few moments until she pulled away, he could tell she was nervous. Adonis understood and just gave her a warm smile, and stopped tapping his foot. He was a bit sad the hug ended but life goes on.

“I-I’m sorry, you’re a really good hugger...I’m just worried..Because I don’t hug people a lot..” Adonis got where she was coming from. the only reason he was so okay with hugs was his mum. he used to be so nervous he'd upset someone.``you don't need to be sorry! that was a 10/10 hug in my book.`` he laughed, trying to lighten the mood and make her feel better. the red from his cheeks slowly faded and his face went back to being void of color. Adonis messed with his fingers and looked at her, looking down.``im just kidding 'round anyways, i wont rate the hug everytime we hug.`` he laughed and gave a small thumbs up.

“you don't need to be sorry! that was a 10/10 hug in my book.” Adonis said. Lillian looked at him, still feeling a little bit weary “im just kidding 'round anyways, i wont rate the hug everytime we hug.” he said with a small smile and a thumbs up. She smiled a small smile, feeling slightly better. She also noticed that his face was not as red, and it had gone back to its pale colour.

“Well...does that mean...we’ll get to hug again?” She giggled a little, already knowing that the answer is most likely yes, since it seemed like Adonis liked them. Well, at least she hoped the answer would be yes since she enjoyed them too, but only from him.

Growing up, Lillian didn’t like hugs, and she never really grew to like them. Her relatives used to tightly hug her and kiss her cheek and she would cringe and pull away. As she got older, she only liked hugging her siblings and her parents, and no one else. It’s not like she had a best friend to hug and she was still usually annoyed when her relatives hugged her considering they were over the top and too tight. But she couldn’t imagine not enjoying a hug from Adonis

“Well...does that mean...we’ll get to hug again?” Adonis had no hesitation, and said through laughs. ``Pfff! of course! you cant be my friend without getting hugs consistently.`` He smirked a bit. That's one of the reasons he didn't have any friends back home actually. He was too touchy too quick and that made the other kids uncomfortable. He would go home and tell his dad and mum and they would reassure him, telling him his hugs were amazing and anyone to receive one was lucky. he partly didn't believe them but he loved to be appreciated by anyone.

``i only really hugged my mum back home, and this weird looking sheep that lived in my yard.`` he laughed. Adonis really enjoyed that hug because she hugged back. He rubbed his nose roughly and looked out the window. he hadn't gotten too earlier because he was too busy looking at lillian.
Adonis had gotten a bit entranced by the view of the window, dozing off and staring for a little. He thought the train was going slow before, but now he realized they were a pretty reasonable pace.
he decided to break the silence and go completely off topic. his brain wandered a lot.
``Did you ever have pets back
at home?`` adonis really missed all the animals he would find. he was probably closer with all of them than he was with his dad.

Lillian watched Adonis as he gazed out of the window at the surrounding landscapes, a smile spread across her face. She hadn’t seen him so still in the short amount of time she had known him, and she admired his features. His curly and vibrant hair, his blue eyes, his facial features.

Then, when he began to speak, she quickly looked away. She wouldn’t want him to think she was staring at him or anything like that. He asked if she had any pets at home and Lillian shook her head. “No...I’ve never had a pet before,” she answered, shaking her head. “When I lived in the countryside there was a mice infestation, so my dad would tell me that we didn’t need a pet when our house was riddled with little animals...But I was so scared of the mice, it was like living in fear forever.” She laughed at the memory.

“And then when my mum and I moved to the city she would say that I could have a pet if I couldn’t take care of myself, which I suppose was true at the time, I was quite a mess back then...And by the time I was okay I had two younger siblings and didn’t think we needed any more animals in the house,” she giggled slightly at her own joke.

“I do really really want a cat though....Do you have any pets or animals?”

He laughed along with her mouse story, and her joke.
"i used to have a frog when i was way younger ,but my dad didn't like him and sold him without telling me. He jumped into one wedding cake and boohoo-" he laughed lightly. that story always made him a but sad, cause that frog was his best friend. "we have a sheep that always sneaks into our yard, me n him got pretty close. I feed him all the time. he looks a little funky though." he laughs. "i named the bugger barnubus."
he sighed. " i really like animals. they always seemed to listen to my long winded stories, and they never judged me." he laughed lightly, realizing that was a bit pathetic when he said it out loud- but it was more than true. his parents often didn't listen when he would talk on and on, and he didn't have many friends so he always turned to animals. "i do miss my frog quite a lot though..or he might've been a toad?" he laughed.
"its funny how im scared of snakes but i can withstand almost another slimy,reptilian or amphibian animals."
he was trying to lighten things up, because he started to get pretty grim about his frog.

Lillian pouted a little out of sympathy for Adonis when he mentioned that his dad sold his little frog. Then she smiled when he mentioned the sheep and his name, Barnubus. She thought it was quite an interesting name. "i really like animals. they always seemed to listen to my long winded stories, and they never judged me." He said, which made Lillian smile more. He mentioned that it was funny how he was scared of snakes but not other amphibians and she nodded in agreement.

"I suppose that's quite funny, but a lot of the time people make snakes seem like evil creatures. I don't believe they are evil though...but then again my favourite animals are sharks and I think they're cute so.." She laughed slightly, "But hey, you know what? I'll always always listen to your long stories, and I will definitely never ever ever judge you!" she said, trying to smile as warmly and as kindly as she possibly could so that he knew she was serious and she seriously meant it. "By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what was your frog called? If you can remember," she giggled a little, interested to learn more about the frog (or Toad).

"thanks for listening to me at all. barnubus is gonna be real jealous when i tell him about you." he gave a loud laugh.

If you can remember," He giggled a but. his name for his frog was created by his mum and him , and he though it was a little girly. "his name was honeysuckle. not really a reason why." he laughed a bit more."didn't fit him either. he was not sweet at all, caused mayhem in my house. always escaped or jumped into something, no wonder my dad didn't like him." he wriggled his fingers together, going back to being squirmy.

"my dad hates animals while my mum loves them. she said she used to have a tabby cat." when adonis was 5 he basically begged his parents for a cat for years. his dad never gave in though and he settled for a frog.
"we even had enough yard to have some outside animals." he also tried to bring home a stray dog before, that didn't go over well. his parents got in a huge fight that ended up on selling the dog too. lots of these stories didn't have happy ending so he decided it would be best nit to share them. the frog one was already sad enough for him.

"Honeysuckle is an adorable name," she giggled, imagining the little creature jumping all round the place and causing chaos. Then she listened as he explained how his mum had a tabby cat. Lillian adored cats and she had always wanted a fluffy calico cat to call her own. Perhaps she could even get one at Hogwarts!

"we even had enough yard to have some outside animals." Said Adonis, and Lillian nodded along so that he knew she was listening. "Before I moved to the ciy we had a lot of outdoor space too but it was mostly full flowers and trees and things, and nobody really wanted those things to get messed up so we never really had outside animals either..." she pouted slightly, wishing that she could've had a little lamb or something like that, but then suddenly she remembered something and she gasped with excitement.

"Although we did have a small pond with lots of pretty koi fish, they were all glittery and stuff, I loved them. I would go out and feed them often, I miss them now." She giggled at the bittersweet memory of her parents taking her outside everyday to throw food into the pond for them to enjoy. "Okay, if you could have any any pet in the whole entire world - anything you wanted at all - what would it be and what would you call it? And it can be anything you want even a Tiger or Lion or a ummm or a cat, or something." She said with a smile She didn't have any idea what Adonis would say, but she knew it definitely wouldn't be a snake.
