I have a question about what spells we know. How do we learn spells? I assume it's from lessons or if we otherwise RP learning them? 

The reason I'm asking is that I'm currently not past my 10 days of being registered at the site and as such do not have any access to lessons or homeworks. However, I'm currently at the Blossomfest, so In Character, time-line wise, my character would've attended lessons already, just like all the other kids. With that in mind, would my character know any spells at all? If so, which ones?

Spell rules have not been fully released. As long as you stick to what a first year should reasonably know, no one will yell at you. New spell rules will come out in the future which may change this though.

I have another question, if you don't mind. Are we allowed to add NPCs to our roleplays? Do we have rules regarding inventing an NPC or using a canon NPC?

1. For instance, can I invent a non-canon ghost or portrait-person for my RP?

2. How abouat canon ghosts like The Fat Friar or The Fat Lady? Can we use them in our RPs? If yes, do we just roleplay them or does it have to be done by a staff?

Hey Errol,

This is a problem that everyone with chrome is experiencing. Including myself. It should be fixed shortly, but in the meantime, there are a few things you can do to access the site. You can use incognito mood on chrome, firefox, or internet explorer, or safari on your phone. Just not chrome, right now.

Hope this clears things up. The bug should be fixed in a day or two. It's just due to the new server for the site.

Hello, I'm sorry if I am repeating a question (just signed in and this site looks a little complicated but it's beautiful), so I have read about the time of this universe, my question is do we have to wait seven years in order to graduate our characters? Is there (or will there be) a way to age them up faster? I am asking because teenage years will have more conflicts to write about and three/four years of waiting in real life sounds a little bit scary!
