FAQ — Questions
I can tell you that the most common cause of being banned on this site is multi-accounting. Often if I or another staff member catch it in the validations queue during character creation, we reach out. If someone confesses, they are let off with a warning and as long as they never do it again, it is fine. However, if they lie and get the account onto the site and it is determined that they lied, almost always, we ban the user.
A relevant second answer would be breeching a DNC. A very rare occurrence, this is where a DNC or a do not contact was placed between users. This is bidirectional, meaning it goes both ways. Someone cannot place a DNC on another user and be able to talk to/about them, and they are not able to respond. I have only ever had to ban 3 people for this, because accidental breeches will get off with a warning, but purposeful breeches (such as messaging someone about how you hate them) will get you banned.
There are a lot of other reasons, such as posting pornographic images, harassing the community, spamming the site, harassing members with disgusting or profane imagery, hacking, doxing, soliciting minors for explicit content.
There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

FAQ — Questions
Following this, I have another question. Is it possible to have a DNC but only for owling?
FAQ — Questions
No, it isn't possible. DNC means you don't want or cannot interact with that person, including owl. I will refer you to this thread for further explanation: viewtopic.php?t=22559#p461162Julia Evans wrote: 18 Feb 2026, 11:57 Following this, I have another question. For INPC creation, is your 6 moths counted from Registration date or from time you were active?
FAQ — Questions
The registration date on your profile! (Basically the day you were validated)Julia Evans wrote: 19 Feb 2026, 14:53 For INPC creation, is your 6 moths counted from Registration date or from time you were active?
For example, Avery was validated on October 20, 2024, but I did not become active here until the next day. Though I was able to create Dyl on April 20, 2025, because my validation date was October 20.

I first created my account in July 2025, but forgot all about it (I wasn't validated), then I came back in October where my account still existed, so I used that and actually got validated in October. So do I count from July or October?
FAQ — Questions
Since your profile says July 10th, I would say go with July, but anyone else (especially validation staff!) Feel free to correct me!Julia Evans wrote: 19 Feb 2026, 15:00Well, I have a weird thing for validationDylan Astor wrote: 19 Feb 2026, 14:58The registration date on your profile!
