Name: Emmakuma Phoenix
Hair Color: Brown, but I've dyed it silver.
Eye Color: Brown, but I wear violet contact lenses.
Height: 142 centimeters
Hobbies: Reading
Psychological State: I enjoy good health.
Personality: I have a very open personality, although I must admit I'm impatient. I strive to achieve my goals and am open to friendships, but only if they prove beneficial.
My Time Before Hogwarts:
It was a beautiful day when I came into the world in a somewhat secluded village in North London, England. Until I was 11 years old, I was homeschooled, and I cherished the time spent at home. The first magical incident occurred, as I recall, two days before my 11th birthday. I was playing in the garden when, unexpectedly, I set our hedge on fire. Shocked, my parents asked about the incident, and I recounted the burning corner in the garden. They extinguished the fire and explained that I possessed magical abilities. My parents, both wizards in our pure-blood family, reassured me that it was normal for magical abilities to manifest and that it might happen more often.
On my 11th birthday, I finally received the long-awaited Hogwarts letter. Excited for Hogwarts, as my parents had shared many stories about it, I already had a favorite house in mind. I knew about the various subjects like Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and flying on broomsticks. My parents had even taken me on a broomstick ride in the garden, albeit in circles. I must say, I always enjoyed flying on a broomstick.

Character Special Race/Talent: No
Character Backstory:ReducioFirst Instance of Magic:Lyanna grew up in Cambridge, England and is wizard-born. Her parents are both wizards, but unlike pure bloods, this was not the case for all of her ancestors. Her grandma on her father's side is a muggle, for example.
She lives is a nice middle-class house with her mother, father and little sister. Her grandparents on her mothers side live in a house close by, and her grandparents on her fathers side live in London, and Lyanna visits them often. Lyanna went to a sort of prep school for all wizard families in the area, in which she studied the basics a witch or wizard would need to learn about the wizarding world and other basic (muggle) subjects before going to Hogwarts.* She only was at that school for two years though, because the rest of the time she was homeschooled and she also traveled lots.
Her mother, Jade Oak, works as an auror at the ministry, but cut down her working hours to spend more time with her family. She is an amazing cook and a really nice, strong-willed, friendly person. Oliver Oak, her father, also works at the ministry but not in the same department. He is always very selfless and thinks of others before himself. His mother (Lyanna's grandma) is the same way and also very good at knitting.
Isa Oak, Lyanna's sister, is 3 years younger than her and very sweet but also occasionally persistent and annoying. She loves art in every form, and spends the day reading, drawing and crafting. Sometimes she also dances and sings, but not too often (luckily). Lya and Isa are very close.ReducioIt was very unexpected. Lyanna was 6, and she was in London with her parents and sister. They were going to the British Museum that day, but as they arrived her parents started talking to an acquaintance, and moments later Isa was no where to be seen. Lyanna knew she needed to find her little sister, because after all she was only three! So without telling her parents (cuz why would anyone do that?!) she ran off searching for her. Finally she found Isa standing at the top of a steep staircase, but the acquaintance's son turned out to be someone in her class, and not a nice one at that. He laughed at Lyanna when he saw her running towards her sister, and just before she could reach out to her little sister, he pushed Isa down the stairs! So by instinct Lyanna jumped after her sister trying to catch her. Less than a second later, they were floating above the staircase, and then softly hit the ground. They were both confused, but it wasn't over yet for Lyanna. As she stood up, she quickly realised she accidentally lit her new enemy's hoodie on fire in her anger, but then moments later it was as if nothing had happend...

Character Backstory: He had a fairly ordinary childhood, he's mom was a muggle middle school teacher, and his dad worked for the city. He also had a muggle sister who was literally the exact opposite of him which lead him to fighting with her a lot. After going to school he usually played video games, if his dad allowed him to do so. Then, he moved to England when he was 9, cause their mother said "We can't stay in our country forever, it's good to explore the world and learn to speak English" in scottish of course, his dad stayed in his country to earn money and afford for them to stay in England while his mom raised them here. He fairly did okay in muggle elementary school-though he sometimes had trouble focusing in class because of the fact that he daydreamed about the things that he was interested in that current state, that usually being the video games he played or the stories he was reading at home.He also had a tendency to lose his belongings quite a lot, but that issue slowly started to disappear by the time he was 11, probably due to the fact that his mother's lecture that contained string of curse words were simply too much for him not to try and solve his problematic disorganization problem. His father on the other hand, defended his son if his mother shouted and cursed too loudly at him when they were back in Scotland, both were great parents all in all, they just had different ideas on how to raise children-and no, they are not divorced, they just don't get all romantically mushy with each other.(and he prefers it that way)
First Instance of Magic: At age 10 in london, Pettely accidentally caused his mother’s book to burst into flames when he was overcome with frustration after an argument with his sister. Though shaken, his family dismissed it as an innocent accident, until the Hogwarts letter arrived.

Hi Pettely, before I can approve your index application there are a few changes that will need to be made:
- Please use the full and complete form, which you can find on the first page of this thread
- Please elaborate on when and why Pettely moved to England. His first instance of magic will need to have happened while he was living in England, because the book and quill that accepts students into Hogwarts only detects first instances of magic that occur in the Untied Kingdom.
- Was Pettely's family English and living in Korea or were they Korean? If Pettley is Korean, then you would need to add "nationality change to Korean" under the Does the profile card need changing section of your form
- Please add Pettley's age to your encyclopedia page

Harvey Barrows may look like any other 11 year old boy, but the truth of his genetic makeup makes him slightly different than most witches and wizards. His grandfather in fact is a full blooded Goblin. A rare mix indeed, but one that makes Harvey rather unique. Before we can explore Harvey's tale however, we must first look back to this Goblin by the name of Larnak the Lender. This particular goblin lived in London and was a prominent member of his community. Having gained a senior position at Gringotts Wizarding Bank had brought him wealth and status among his fellow Goblins. Many of which looked to him as a leader among their kind. Larnak cherished his bloodline and was extremely proud of his pure goblin heritage. Like others among his community he had a long standing distrust of human witches and wizards that bordered on the line of intolerance, but mixed in with this sense of superiority was a long hidden secret...
Though Larnak considered his race to be superior he could not deny his lust for human witches. It was a hidden source of shame for most of his adult life, but it would eventually prove too much a temptation and led to a chance coupling with a witch named Matilda. The fact that he had fathered a half-breed female was something that had to remain a secret at all costs. Under no circumstances could his fellow Goblins know of his secret for he would surely lose his position within the community and along with it his wealth and privilege. So, he used his money to bury it all away. He paid Matilda to move away from London and to take the baby with her. He made her swear to never tell the child of his existence and as long as the galleons kept flowing Matilda was more than happy to oblige. So, the pair moved to Wales and out of Larnak's life. Years would pass and this half-Goblin, half-witch by the name of Harriet Barrows would grow into a young woman herself.
It would be around this time that Matilda took ill. Her life was coming to a close, but she wished to be free of her secrets before she died and chose to tell Harriet about her father. It came as little shock to Harriet as she had long known she looked very different from the other witches and wizards she had grown up with. Those that were intolerant oh her existence had even gone as far as calling her half-breed instead of her given name. Harriet would have been fine never knowing Larnak, but she had a secrets of her own. She was with child. The father, a human wizard, had skipped town and Larnak's gold had long run dry. With little options to provide for her baby, Harriet felt she had no choice but to return to London and confront Larnak about his offspring after her mother passed away.
So, all of these years later Larnak would soon be presented a daughter who had just recently given birth to a boy she named Harvey. The Goblin under any other circumstance would have dismissed them immediately as illegitimate, but he had failed in his life to ever produce a male heir. So, reluctantly, he would bring them in as even a male of mixed heritage was preferred to no legacy at all. Thus leads us to the tale of Harvey Barrows.
Again, as the years went by he would grow to look like most 11 year old males, but the distinctions of his ancestry were present if one looked close enough. He was shorter than the average boy, standing just around 4 feet in height and the tips of his ears are noticeably pointed. The shape of his head was more domed than others and if one were to shake his hand they may notice his fingers were most likely longer than that of even an adult. Peculiar indeed...
Character Backstory: Harvey's life before Hogwart's isn't the brightest of tales unfortunately. Larnak the Lender may have accepted him into his home, but a loving grandfather he surely was not. They all lived in a very nice townhome in London, not far from Diagon Alley. Though Larnak provided wealth for Harvey and his mother, the strict upbringing that came with it may be called oppressive by some. The Goblin was determined to bring up a worthy heir, but Harvey was often just a reminder of his own weakness and he was never shy to let the boy know that. Harvey was taught that the only redeemable traits about him and his mother were the Goblin traits that Larnak had provided and that if he ever wanted to inherit the family's wealth he was to prove himself by the time he graduated Hogwarts. This lead to a quite a rigid upbringing for Harvey. He was expected to follow a societal expectation more befitting of a Victorian Era noble than to that of modern young boy.
However, it was not all bad for young Harvey. His mother, who was often just an after thought for Larnak, did her best to provide a loving home for her boy. Something Harvey would always be grateful for and proof too that not all of his grandfather's teachings were to be trusted. She did her best to help tutor him through his studies, but to also instill in him an appreciation for brighter things in life. Friendship, music, arts, things that Larnak would cast aside as a frivolous waste of time, but it would leave an impression on young Harvey. Only time would tell which side of his upbringing would be the most impactful.
First Instance of Magic: Harvey’s first instance of magic occurred when he was around seven years old. His mother had gotten him a small action figure to play with and the boy treasured the possession right away. However, when he got too excited and too loud for his grandfather’s liking the old man had snatched it away from him and set it high out of reach. Harvey was left rather upset by this and through the tears he would reach his little arms up towards his beloved toy. Through sheer will power alone the figure would fly back towards his outstretched hands.

Reducio
Born as Elizabeth Prudence Barnes, Bessie was the eldest in a family of four. The Barnes family, though pure of blood, had long been estranged from the opulent circles of high wizarding society due to Fergus Barnes the Merry, who had gambled away the family fortune on dragon rearing and dubious potion ventures in the 1700s. As such, the Barnes family is often little more than a footnote in the wizarding equivalent of Burke's Peerage1. In some circles the Barnes' family fall from wealth and grace is ascribed to the repeated mixing of bad blood into parts of the family line. However, the line to Elizabeth reamins entirely pure.
Growing up, Bessie learned to work hard early on. As the oldest of four, she often took on the role of second parent to her three younger brothers. Here she already showed an early aptitude for healing and caregiing, fixing up countless scrapes and bruises that her brothers collected. Her mother, Eugenia, ran a modest potions shop, while her father, Archibald, worked as a Ministry archivist. On the whole, her childhood was largely one of modest, but happy and unpretentious living.
After graduating Hogwarts, Elizabeth worked many different odd jobs, briefly following in the footsteps of her mother Eugenia and running the potions shop, but never quite managing to feel fullfilled. It wasn't until after she had married Rupert Digby, a quiet, bookish wizard and birthed three children that she began pursuing further medical studies and swiched career in her late forties. She was trained under the esteemed St. Mungo’s staff, but ended up working abroad in another wizarding hospital for the longest time. Her natural warmth and no-nonsense attitude made her a standout nurse and her skill with complex healing charms earned her a place of respect among her peers.
Not long after her children had all grown up and left the house, Rupert unexpectedly passed away. After a year of grief, Elizabeth decided to return to the United Kingdom and resettled in the Barnes' family estate. Now in the autumn of her working life, Elizabeth is keen to get started at Hogwarts, returning to the kind of caregiving that she used to provide for her siblings.

Elizabeth's children are:
- Jonathan Digby (29), who followed in his grandfather’s footsteps and now works for the Ministry of Magic as an archivist's assistant.
- Marianne Digby (27), is a field researcher specializing in magical flora and fauna. She spends much of her time abroad, documenting rare species and often collaborates with Clara on her publications.
- Clara Digby (25), the youngest. She inherited her father’s literary inclination and works as a writer, penning novels and essays year round.
First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Contrary to what one might expect, Elizabeth's first instance of magic had nothing to do with healing. At age nine, when playful banter between rowdy siblings got out of hand and turned to insults, Elizabeth got so angry at her younger brother that the teapot on the kitchen table flew into the air and dumped its (thankfully lukewarm) contents on his head. After the brief satisfaction of seeing justice served, Elizabeth then spent the next half-hour consoling her startled little brother.

Character Backstory:Metamorphmagus
ReducioCassian inherited much from his paternal side of the family — his eyes, his inability to back down from a fight, and his camaraderie with the family Crup, to name a few. His mother's lineage was much the same, with his curls, talent with languages, and athleticism. On top of these, though, she also passed something else on.
Colette Devereaux, Cassian's great-great-aunt, was five when she got into the mother of all screaming matches with her twin brother Philippe, who would one day become Cassian's great-great-grandfather. To the surprise of their entire family, save Mamie Brigitte, the siblings' hair both shifted into a bright, lurid scarlet as they wrestled the enchanted toy train they had been fighting over out of each others' hands.
The Devereaux had always been gifted, of course, but it had been generations since this particular talent had surfaced in their bloodline, as evidenced by everyone's (except their matriarch) collective confusion. Metamorphmagi were rare, especially because they could not be made or trained, and the Devereaux had just discovered two in their ranks.
Later on, Colette would run off to England as soon as she had graduated from Beauxbatons to join the Auror program. She flourished, especially in undercover missions, and the family was proud to hear of her exploits — even if she never showed up to reunions or holidays anymore because of security risks. (Still, there was always some stranger that seemed peculiarly familiar in the corner of the larger balls and galas that they hosted.)
Philippe, on the other hand, settled down with a fine young woman of respectable heritage and put away his abilities, except for when the children were fussy and wanted to see Papa perform a few of his parlor tricks. In fact, Eurydice Cecily Devereaux, who would become Eurydice Cecily Montelise Byrne (her monogrammed handkerchiefs got significantly more complicated), distinctly remembered her great-grandfather sprouting pointed ears or a purple mustache at the particularly boring dinner parties.
Two decades later, Eurydice was the proud mother of one Cassian Montelise Byrne. Her son was absolutely perfect, in her humble opinion. His adorable button nose, the wispy curls that were already threatening to be just as untameable as her own, the way he gurgled and giggled when she poked his cheeks... There was no possible way that she could adore Cassian more, and she would spend hours beside his crib, just looking at him.
It was because of all the time she spent observing her infant son that she first noticed the changes. They were subtle, most often appearing when Cassian was particularly agitated or excited. His eyes would shift into a deep green reminiscent of dirty algae when he was hungry, his hair would grow three shades lighter in between tantrums, and why exactly did his nails seem to grow so fast?
The memories of her great-grandfather resurfaced, and Eurydice started suspecting that there was something more to baby Cassian. However, the family wouldn't receive confirmation until one particularly hot summer day, when Cassian had refused to leave the stream running behind their manor. When Eurydice had waded in after him to fetch her wayward son, Cassian had run away screaming, which was par for the course for him.
However, she hadn't counted on him having bright red eyes and giant fangs when she caught up to him. Eurydice had blinked twice then swept her son up in a tight embrace — of course Cassian was special.
Still, that didn't mean Cassian had an easy go of it. Growing up, he struggled to control his abilities, often having uncontrolled transformations when his emotions fluctuated — which was almost always. His status as a Metamorphmagus almost seemed more an obstacle than an aid, especially because all the advice he got seemed to be "learn how to regulate yourself."
As he approached eleven years old, though, Cassian finally seemed to recognize that Hogwarts was on the horizon and it would behoove him to not be the center of attention on the first day of school. It was a struggle, to be sure, but he managed to limit his transformations to his most intense outbursts. To this day, he's still learning how to use his abilities on command instead of randomly, but deep down he knows that they're just as much a part of him that he's proud of as any other talent of his.

First Instance of Magic:ReducioEurydice Cecily Devereaux and Alistair Montelise Byrne were a match seemingly made in heaven. They met on the Continent when Alistair was on his progress and Eurydice was summering in the small Mediterranean seaside town he had stopped in. They both hailed from prestigious pureblood families — the French Devereaux, who could trace their magical lineage back forty generations, and the Irish Montelise Byrnes, who were old, old magic — and had clear visions of what they wanted out of life: to continue the legacy that had been placed onto their shoulders.
While they would never call it love at first sight or have a great, passionate love, they fit together in a quiet, comfortable companionship that was perfectly acceptable to both parties.
Eurydice and Alistair were married on a windy November day at the Montelise Byrne estate less than a year after they first met, and Eurydice was pregnant with their first (and what would become their only) child within the month.
Cassian led a mostly charmed childhood. His father was always busy and spent most of his time away from his family, and so the rearing of the rambunctious boy fell to his mother and a few select governesses. Eurydice took to motherhood well — a little too well, in fact. Cassian was perfect in her eyes and could do no wrong. As such, he grew up running roughshod over the entire estate, doing whatever he pleased whenever he pleased.
However, whenever Alistair returned, the pressure came crashing down on his son's shoulders. Cassian struggled to reconcile his father's overwhelming expectations with his mother's smothering affection, as well as his pre-existing status of the scion of their family.
Cassian looked forward to his Hogwarts letter with zeal, just like every other school-aged young witch or wizard in the United Kingdom. Even if he was a little nervous to be leaving his home behind, he couldn't wait to be in the hallowed halls of the castle that his father had graduated from. When the letter finally arrived, he let out a sigh of relief that he hadn't known he had been holding. Finally — his future was guaranteed.

ReducioCassian was skating on the local pond one wintry day when his fun was interrupted by a group of older boys. They poked fun at him and teased him, trying to get the pond to themselves, until Cassian lost his temper and accidentally summoned a gust of wind that blew all of them off their feet and onto their behinds.

Character Backstory: Dark black with greenish color eyes, long straight black hair that reaches my thighs, black eyelashes, pale white skin, 5 ft tall, thin, with many rings on my fingers. I also have a white eyebrow, which was caused by selective albinism.
Mentally stable-ish. I am quiet, like a dark shadow. I don't speak unless spoken to or if I have to. I am artistic in a disturbing way, even though no one knows about it. I am very smart, and love to read. My favorite subject is Potions, and I worship Severus Snape and want to be like him someday. I have a black walnut wand with a phoenix feather for a core. I also have 2 middle names, Mania and Lyssa, following family tradition.
My life was quiet before Hogwarts. I was always cared for by a multitude of nannies, along with some of the house elves. My parents never truly had time for me, as they had other things to worry about. I wasn't really a troublesome child, or so I was told. I was rather shy for a child my age, and I preferred to read a book then go and play some mindless game like Gobstones or such. I always particularly loved animals, and was always running home with whatever little animal I found in the forest. I was born in London, but then moved to Llagefni, Wales in 2014, a year after I was born due to the fact that my mother had one of her fancies, saying at that time that Wales was a better place to raise a child, not to also mention that fact that many family members lived there. My father naturally agreed. I wish he hadn't sometimes.. I was always the black sheep of the family, even at my young age. I was a dark shadow, a black cloud to their seemingly happy sunshine. My parents weren't vicious or cruel to me, they just never understood me. I was inclined to refuse any form of affection, no matter how hard they vied for it at first. After a time, they simply accepted that I wasn't the type to like to receive affection and stopped trying. It wasn't that I was haphephobic, or anything of the sort. I simply felt distaste at the constant and obsessive desire of people to be showing affection through touch. My parents were shocked at the time when I showed my first signs of sccidental magic, as was the rest of my family. Almost as if they had not been expecting that I was going to be a witch.
First Instance of Magic: The first instance of accidental magic was when I was 5. I was feeling angry at my mother. She had forced me into what was in my opinion, a pink monstrosity. I didn't want to wear it. But my mother kept insisting that I wear it until suddenly, I couldn't handle it anymore. I started to scream and scream. At that same moment, my mother's favorite vase broke into a thousand pieces. She screamed as well. My father came in and fixed it but I didn't stop screaming. I couldn't. No one was hurt, but still, after that, I was in shock.
Parsletongue ( I will be writing in 3rd person): Nyx Blackheart had always been an enigma, even to her own family. Born into the Blackheart family, a long line of respected witches and wizards, Nyx grew up surrounded by magical knowledge, but nothing too extraordinary ever seemed to happen to her—until one fateful summer day when she was seven. The Blackheart family home was nestled deep in the heart of a forest, hidden from Muggle eyes, with towering trees that seemed to whisper ancient secrets. Nyx’s parents were quiet and reserved, typical of the Blackheart clan. They were known for their talents in Herbology and Charms, and despite their long lineage, there was nothing unusual about them, at least on the surface. One late afternoon, while playing near the edge of the forest, Nyx came across a large, winding snake in the underbrush. It was black with green eyes, its scales glimmering like jewels in the soft light. She wasn’t scared, not even a little. The snake slithered closer, its tongue flickering, and to her surprise, Nyx didn’t feel the usual sense of fear. Instead, she knelt down, mesmerized, and then did something that would change her life forever—she spoke to the snake. “Why are you here?” Nyx asked softly, in words that felt both foreign and natural. The snake paused, then responded in a low hiss. “I’ve been waiting.” Nyx’s heart skipped a beat. She didn’t understand how she could be talking to it, but the words just flowed from her mouth, instinctual, as if she’d always known the language. When the snake disappeared into the undergrowth, Nyx stood still, trying to process what had just happened. She hadn’t heard anyone speak Parseltongue before, not even her parents, and the thought that she might be a Parselmouth unsettled her. For as long as she could remember, her family had never exhibited any signs of Parseltongue. They were a quiet, well-respected family, with no connection to the dark, dangerous traits associated with the skill. That evening, she couldn’t shake the experience. She sat in the sitting room of the Blackheart house, playing with her toy wands, when her father walked in, his stern face drawn in concern. Nyx hadn’t told anyone what had happened, but her mother had noticed a strange, serpentine hiss when she’d asked Nyx to help with something in the kitchen earlier. “Nyx,” her father said gently, kneeling down in front of her. “Do you know what you did earlier today?” “I—I spoke to the snake,” she said, unsure how to explain it. “Tell me exactly what you said,” he asked, his voice low. Nyx repeated the words, and to her surprise, her father didn’t seem alarmed—at least, not in the way she expected. He seemed to be listening carefully, his eyes narrowing, a shadow of recognition flickering in them. “You’ve inherited it,” he murmured, more to himself than to her. “Inherited what?” Nyx asked, suddenly feeling the weight of the conversation pressing on her young shoulders. “Parseltongue,” her father replied. “It’s a rare gift...or curse, depending on how you view it.” Nyx felt a chill run down her spine. Parseltongue? That was a trait linked to dark wizards, particularly the infamous Salazar Slytherin and, more recently, Lord Voldemort. Was she destined for darkness? Her father took a deep breath, the lines on his face deepening. “It’s from your great-grandfather. He had the gift, though it was kept hidden for many years. He was a quiet man, a brilliant alchemist, but he never spoke about it. We thought it had skipped a generation...but it seems it’s returned.” Nyx’s great-grandfather, who had dissapered when her father was still a young man, had always been a figure of mystery in the family. Nyx had only heard whispers about him—rumors of a secretive past, his reclusiveness, and his involvement in rare, ancient magical practices. But no one ever spoke about him openly. Nyx’s mother finally spoke up. “You must be careful, Nyx. Parseltongue is a rare gift, but it’s not something that should be flaunted. It can be.... misunderstood, by others.” For weeks, Nyx grappled with the truth of what she had inherited. She practiced speaking to the snakes in the garden, unsure if she should embrace this strange ability or hide it away. Her parents, though kind, couldn’t provide her with much guidance. The Blackhearts had always prided themselves on their subtlety, their skill with quiet, practical magic, but Parseltongue wasn’t something they had ever known how to deal with. Despite the uncertainty, Nyx couldn’t deny the curiosity it sparked in her. The snakes weren’t dangerous—they were fascinating, almost like old friends, and they spoke to her like no one else did. In them, she found a strange comfort. But every time someone in her family would ask about it, she would brush it off, too afraid to delve deeper into what it meant for her future. Her parents had bought her a snake one day a few months after finding out. She took it as their way of saying that they supported her.
As Nyx approached her eleventh birthday, the discovery of her Parseltongue was still something she kept to herself. She would never tell anyone. After all, some things are best kept a secret.

Describe why this fits your character (not why you the player wants it): Wc: 525/500ReducioYeseong tended to have a nightish, creepy and intimidating vibe to him at times, being one that would be out for midnight strolls a lot, avoided the sun, didn't really interact much with people. Yeseong had also been commented on a lot about being one to prefer darkness and not like the light, and even had some other traits like not liking garlic, also sleeping during day, being really agile, and pretty quick, almost giving off a vibe of a dhampir. Other things had been commented about him, like liking all things of it and having the past of it, like before, random moving of objects, like his first instance of magic, having slammed the door shut as if with telekinesis(obviously he doesn't have it though.) , and also throwing a towel over his window just to keep the sun away, making all the shade he can. He even got teased for being a dhampir at times just because of how he did this, as well as his dark clothing. Being a rather popular one, he had a lot of defense from people, yet he eventually just accepted it. Little did he know later his father was a vampire, creating a possible bloodline as his(the father's) mother was one, and his mother's father was one from being bitten, having created the line to pass it down, basically in the family history now. Forts have been built around the house for his shade and that, in his room, in the living room, even got his own chair with a shade to block the light. Overall, Yeseong's family would probably see that, but moving on to friends saying the same, they say that he also showed signs of being in love during the times he saw his current friend/gf, Lex. He would have times of his body tingling a bit and the normal feeling of his heart rushing. He never really understood this, as well as his FIoM, until told by his father about his vampire past, as well as the family past for it. He ended up understanding the loving feeling once Lex confessed with her friend, as well had been getting more notes to know about her, like her Japanese name, her nationalities, etc. He has become rather protective lately, as well as feeling quite bad, more than he usually would with friends, when something that happened upset her. He would also have this urge to unexpectedly hiss in defense, not caring if he'd be called the term of a furry or not, just wanting to help her. He also had pretty good strength with his speed. More about him is that he would usually keep to himself, more of his mysterious vibe, but that was until his friends like Lex came in, as well as Yebon helping him out of the shadows. Sure, he preferred the shadows, gazing at the stars at night from time to time as well, but made his way around daytime with his friends and family, all of them. Despite his mysterious, shadowy behavior, his friends, sister, and gf still accepted him for it, paying no mind unless needed./reducio]Backstory: WC: 234/220
ReducioYeseong was born on March 19th, 2013 to a vampire father and a human mother, his sister, Yebon, a dhampir. Yeseong didn't seem to pay much mind to this, as rathering this mix of dhampir and vampire in his family, seeing it as basically a head start to surviving and adventures. Yebon hadn't come by choice, but as seen, Yeseong did, seeing this as another opportunity for things like friends, intelligence, and control. Before all this, Yeseong's family had a bit of a travel, coming to the U.S. from South Korea for just a simple move and now here, which is where Yeseong's accidental magic, showing to his parents and sister he was near being ready for this time. All of this was a shock when they found out, eagered to send him as they congratulated him. Yeseong had quite a feast with it, a lot of cheering and time out hearing this. Even more excited when hearing his gf, Lex Kervick, who he had met in their previous schools for their education of writing, reading, spelling, and everything they would need to know, would be there as well. Basically a perfect start for him, he had already agreed to go. He was almost jumping in his seat as he waited for the time to get his needs for Hogwarts, that excited about it, which now leads us here, being a proud Slytherin.First Instance of Magic:ReducioYeseong's encounter with accidental magic was after a fight he had with his sister, within a time period of it, he had yelled back, more and more annoyed until it turned into an outburst from stress, the door then slamming shut all of a sudden, this happening during their trip in London, England which is their current location
STATUS: Pending, Zach Zaphiere, 19 January
Reason for Pending:
1. Some of the dhampir features in the application are not in the lore. For example, the random levitation, the pupil changed into a heart-shaped, and the full-power vampire ability once a dhampire turned 18. Dhampire is half-vampire and half-wizard so they will not be as strong as a vampire. This lore about dhampir can be used as your reference.
2. Why did your character's family moved three times? Tell us about the reason in your backstory.
3. How did your character Lex Kervick? Where and when did they meet?
4. How was your character educated before Hogwarts, since the family moved three times? All the students are expected to have basic writing, reading, and mathematic skills before going to Hogwarts.
5. The backstory and the FIoM of your character in this application and in the Encyclopedia Page must be the same.
6. You can put your dhampir statistic. We just need to work on some things about your character's application.

Character Special Race/Talent: Seer - 687/500 wordsReducioCharacter Backstory:The Bianchis had little record of any Seers in their bloodline, with the exception of one: Alessandra Bianchi (née Vannucci), a Venetian pureblood who married into the family in the 1500s, and whose work as a Naming Seer went unnoted for the most part. With her own family barely believing in the credibility of her prophecies, it cannot be said that they assumed the Seer gene died out; rather, they hardly believed it was there in the first place. But powerful or weak, believed or not, it didn’t matter– Alessandra’s skill was real, and her genes continued to be passed down to her children and her children’s children and so on, with the gifts (and curses) of a Seer laying dormant for centuries on end. Stella’s father, Antonio Bianchi is one such carrier of this gene…
…as is his wife, Concetta Cavaleri, who comes from a long line of witches and wizards where the Seer gene has been rare, but not completely unheard of. It is unclear when this particular talent entered into the Cavaleri gene pool; however, it was first documented around roughly 300 years ago in one Fabrizia Cavaleri, and has since appeared erratically in her descendants, sometimes skipping two or three generations before showing up again seemingly without rhyme or reason. The last known Seer was Concetta’s great-grandmother’s sister (Stella’s great-great-great-aunt), Vincenza Cavaleri, who had worked as a well-respected Consultant Oracle in Italy until her death in 1998. As Vincenza never had any children, it was concluded that the Seer gene died out with her.
Thank goodness for that, the Cavaleris would say, because it was viewed as more of a curse, hindrance, and embarrassment than a gift in spite of Vincenza’s achievements, and those of the Cavaleri Seers before her. Their opinions on Seers had been greatly soured by one of Vincenza’s prophecies, which had indirectly led to the death of her sister Fabrizia (Concetta’s great-grandmother), the intervention of which only led to its fulfilment. A young Vincenza had foreseen Fabrizia badly Splinching herself when Apparating to work, and trusting her sister, Fabrizia had taken a broom instead, only to fall in a sudden windstorm and leave her two children orphaned. It was not Vincenza’s fault, but led to her gradual estrangement from the family nonetheless, as well as the development of a deep mistrust held towards Seers.
Furthermore, there was the underlying sense that the presence of the Seer allele was… a stain on their perfect genetic record, if you will. Not that anyone would ever actually say that out loud in public– and certainly not the Cavaleri family, which was typically so outwardly progressive in wizarding politics. And yet it was there, in whispers at family functions and side glances at Vincenza’s portrait, the lack of enthusiasm for Divination in spite of the undeniable presence of Seers in their family history, the aversion to tarot cards and astrology and anything that relied on chance and a world they could not see.
Regardless, with Vincenza’s death, it seemed that their discomforting prejudices held towards Seers, especially for the corruption of their family tree, would be laid to rest for good without ever being fully brought to light.
It was something akin to irony, or perhaps a humourless joke played by the fates, that the stars aligned for Stella Bianchi, the apple of her grandparents’ eye, to be the first Seer in three generations. Neither Stella herself nor her family have discovered that she inherited this trait yet, but there have been small incidents and flashes of intuition that she’s chalked up to dumb luck thus far. Things like guessing the correct answer on a multiple choice test, or instinctively moving out of the way during family games of Quidditch to avoid being hit by a rogue Bludger. A abnormal amount of coincidences, that’s for sure, but she never thought anything of it, and neither did her family, in spite of everything they knew about Seers.
After all, people only see what they want to see, and no one wanted to see Stella’s luck for what it truly was– the gifts of a Seer.ReducioStella Valentina Bianchi was born on a chilly Monday morning in London city, the last of Antonio Bianchi and Concetta Cavaleri's five children. Both of her parents hailed from respectable Italian pureblood families, and for a while the family had lived in rural Tuscany, Antonio's birthplace and the location of his childhood home - although summers drew them south to Sicily, where Concetta's family roots ran deep. However, when his work as a seasoned Auror led to a lucrative job offer with the British Ministry of Magic, they made the move to London. Although the Bianchis have since returned every summer without exception, Stella was born after the move, and it’s their house in Kensington that she calls home instead.
Her childhood was a happy one; she wanted for nothing and was showered with love by her doting family from the minute she was born. Like her siblings, Stella attended weekly ballet and piano lessons, and was homeschooled by tutors who taught her arithmetic and magical history alike. She was often taken along to pureblood events, and hence her parents also instilled in her the importance of proper etiquette, allowing Stella to grow up into a well-mannered and amiable girl.
Stella's siblings were also crucial to her development. There was Elio and Francesca, a pair of twins five years her senior; Giulia, who taught her how to play quidditch; and Carlotta, the closest to her in age and her favourite. It was one of Lotta’s shenanigans that led to Stella’s first instance of accidental magic at the age of six, with the former dyeing both her own hair and her little sister’s bangs an atrocious shade of green; overnight, Stella’s hair had inexplicably reverted back to its original dark brown. (Carlotta's hair, unfortunately, did not.)
Being the youngest of five meant that Stella was left behind in London while the rest were in Hogwarts, and for most of her life, she remembers hearing about her siblings’ adventures and wanting nothing more than to join them. By the time her acceptance letter finally came on her 11th birthday, she’d been brimming with excitement and longing for five years. For Stella, Hogwarts was what she’d been waiting for her entire life - a place to prove herself just as capable as her siblings.
