I haven't had green tea or matcha before but I do know that they're different. I just don't know how they're different. Pls don't fite me

i understand why people would think that not having grown up in the same culture. but me trying to explain to my non-asian peers that there are various different types of green tea (and types of Chinese black tea) usually gets nowhere ;-; and how chinese teas are unique to themself as are other culture's tea.

i love tea as you can tell. tea is culture.

matcha comes in a powder form. it's mostly uniquely Japanese and Korean. Japanese and Korean matcha differ from each other with how they're made and harvested etc. matcha powder is finely ground green tea leaves (usually the higher quality ones). Chinese green tea usually uses tea leaves by itself. matcha tends to be richer and stronger in flavour than green tea. they also have a different consistency.

matcha also has a little more 'earthy' tones than basic green tea, in my opinion. no problem. i've been drinking tea since i was... 9? almost a decade of drinking various types of asian and british tea.

People are just being really annoying and they are not leaving me alone, and just keep falling out with my half-friends. I was Dairy-Free for 9 years and Gluten Free and Dairy-Free for 2 years it was horrible I could hardly eat anything that I wanted but I did like this thing where I try food with dairy in it and I just grew out of it.

I try to be dairy free, as dairy doesn't agree with me. I basically eat whatever I want but avoid it of my own will. Stuff like cheese, milk, ice cream and chocolate are all big nopes. I find now though that there are a lot more options when it comes to dairy free since veganism is becoming a lot more mainstream, so it is easier to find alternatives.

Being both gluten and dairy free - omg though. That would suck!
