Looking for 1 to 3 people to RP with at the Garden of Eden, boys and girls approved. Keep in mind would like a bubbly and sunshiney person to get under Val's skin and annoy her. Maybe annoy her by talking a lot to make her leave the Garden [She is a really cold, rude and icey person, so it is easy to annoy her]. If many people would like 1 different house and the rest Gryffindor's that saw her coming back from the Garden frustrated and they try to talk to her about it.

Your RPG storyline idea: hii if you've ever wanted to thread with me but haven't been able to since i went into duelling-only mode for like a year or two there, this is your chance, chances are i also really want to thread with you. i'm good for backdating to anytime in the last year or planning adult stuff! also if i've already promised you a thread just go ahead and poke me about it

some plot hooks related to things bridget has going on (we can use any or none of these as a starting point, and i'm very down to jump off ideas you have for your character):

Reducio

- quitting duelling captain at the start of her seventh year
- graduation stresses as a first-generation witch and in planning to move pretty far away from her family
- she's a good person to ask about anything duelling or DADA. she tries to be good at most things and it's ruining her ability to relax but she's definitely good at those two
- her rat is getting old
- she hasn't been able to get her patronus to take a form. this doesn't pair well with being someone who cares a lot about defensive magic

Additional info: i picked the number 4 as a cap rather arbitrarily, we shall see at what point i decide i'm doing too much. owl or DM me if you're interested!

Your RPG storyline idea : As a few of you might've already heard, I'm planning on deactivating Cass and returning with a new firstie (Ottilie Thompson) this upcoming school year. I'm looking for anyone who either has their next gen starting this upcoming school year or people who've been waiting for this school year to start their character/new joiners/any other situation and wants to plot with me! While I can do one off threads, I have a heavy preference to long term over multiple thread plots.

Physical: Standing at 142 cm (4’7), Tilly is a pretty normal eleven year old in terms of looks. She’s ever so slightly short for her age, and is a decently athletic kid from years of football and various other sports as a kid. Her blond, wavy hair reaches just below her shoulders when its down, although its normally kept up in a ponytail or braids if its an important occasion. Aside from her brown eyes, she’s an almost exact image of her mother when she was little. Her style is decidedly different from her mother’s though, being a fan of practical clothes that she can get as muddy as she likes and funny hats that she’s been gifted over the years.

Personality: Tilly is a very even-tempered girl, always ready with a smile and friendly to all. She’s the kind of kid that teachers would assign to guide new students, although she doesn’t stand for nonsense, as her mother would say, and can be quite fiery and stubborn when she believes she is being wronged. Although she’s decently mature for her age, and has a lot more knowledge in the mysterious arts of cooking and taking care of herself than other kids might, she has a unfortunate habit of getting too caught up in things when she feels strongly about them and not looking at the bigger picture before acting. Her friends are her everything, and she is extremely loyal to those close to her.

History: The Thompson’s had never been a particularly well off family, and young Ottilie had grown up knowing second hand clothes and being tight on money well. Being a single mother raising a young kid, Bree Thompson had to work multiple jobs to keep them afloat. Tilly’s Dad had never been a part of her life, and her grandparents had been very firm about wanting nothing to with their disappointment of a daughter and her brat. But although Tilly’s family was small, it was a loving one. Her mother had done her very best to make sure that her daughter had access to everything she could need in life despite money constraints, and Tilly had grown up happy and carefree. The Thompson house was small but very much theirs, and it was conveniently close by to the muggle primary school that Tilly attended. With an old trampoline in the backyard and sofa cushions often rearranged into pillow forts, it was the much loved building that she called home.

Tilly’s childhood was a relatively normal one, although it was marked by several moves of house and school. Having to move across the country not once but twice for her mother to find work, she had only been at her current muggle school for one year when her Hogwarts letter arrived. Wherever she went though, some things always stayed the same. Tilly was a relatively sporty kid, who had tried out mostly everything her schools had to offer. She could be found outdoors most of the time, running around with the other kids from her neighbourhood kicking a football or chasing each other around. Although she was never top of the class, she had always done decently well in her schoolwork as well.

Additional info : Threads that you only really get one of, like express rides and the sorting ceremony, I might be slightly picky with who I thread with for them. My only concern is wanting people who will stick around and finish those threads so that I am not left unable to finish them. Otherwise, please fire away with all and any ideas! Looking for friends, rivals and everywhere in between. Tilly will not be attending summer camp, and I am not currently looking for any romance plots.

The first weekend of the new school year marks the launch of a secret, underground rap battle - hosted by none other than Aodhan Shaw and Novalie Moon!

xxxxxxxxABOUTxxxxxxxx Reducio The Plan Four teams consisting of two people will go head-to-head in lyrical combat. The two winning teams will then face off. The last two students left standing, who once fought side by side, must then fight against each other in an epic one-on-one finale. x x Of course, Aodhan and Novalie have a neat little prize lined up for the ultimate champion. The Setting Expect mysterious locations, secretive setups, and a killer soundtrack - which is Aodhan and Novalie beatboxing. The event starts IC on Friday (5th September) and wraps up on Sunday (6th September), with evening/night meetups for each round. The Risk This is an unofficial mini-event run by two regular students, so there’s always a chance we’ll get busted by a prefect or professor. We’ll do our best to stay under the radar, but if things go south, we might need to delay the event IC due to detention.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR... Reducio -> 8 student participants Students from any house / year are welcome to join the battle! You can sign up with a friend or solo - if you're flying solo, we’ll pair you with another student if available. (Note: The event is unofficial, but we will still set OOC deadlines of roughly one week for your post to keep things moving. Please make sure you're able to commit before sending us your owl. Also, be sure you’re able to enter the Forbidden Forest, the Dungeons and the RoR!) -> Spectators Anyone can cheer from the sidelines, no sign-up needed! Spectators can jump into the threads at any time, post freely to support their favorites, and come and go as they please.

IC Reducio -> No wands, potions or anything magic related allowed! This is all about lyrical power, nothing else! -> That said, throwing hands is also a big No-No. -> Don’t copy existing rap lyrics - in other words, don’t start rapping Lose Yourself by Eminem and pretend you came up with it. However, referencing a well-known line for a clever punchline is okay! - Don’t be a Randall and snitch on us because you lost your battle.

OOC Reducio All site rules apply! On a more detailed note: -> Rap battles often include insults, but please keep them within the site's rating. This means hate speech of any kind is strictly prohibited (excluding Mudblood). -> Dissing is part of a Rap Battle, but you have to stay IC. We do not tolerate insulting the writer behind your opponent. Stay respectful OOC. -> Only diss what your character knows. You can rap about things your character has actually seen, heard, or experienced IC - such as your opponent’s house, year, appearance or any public actions (like something that happened in an event, errand, a shared thread, etc.). Example: If Novalie is your opponent, it’s fair game to say something about her being a Ravenclaw, a redhead, or for starting a fire in the common room last winter. If you two have interacted before, you can also comment on her character, like being impulsive or overly affectionate. What’s not okay: Don’t reference things your character wouldn’t know IC - like her family background or who she hangs out with unless that information has come up in a thread and was directly shared in-character. Even if it's in her ency, treat it as OOC knowledge. If you’re unsure what you can use, you can just ask the person in question. -> You don’t have to diss your opponent. If you’re more comfortable rapping about yourself, that’s totally fine! Brag, boast and flex to your heart's content! However, by participating, you’re agreeing to let your character get roasted. Expect your opponent to throw verbal punches, so only join if you’re okay with that. -> No AI or Plagiarism allowed! Try to be creative! -> Stay within the Deadline. Failing to do so will result in your character not rapping and therefore losing.
