Hello @Opal Ivory, you can only buy Chocolate Frogs in Hogsmeade but you won't be able to visit that place until you turn 3rd year. However, there is another alternative method to have access to Hogsmeade even when you're not 3rd year is to buy a Fake Permission Form (costs 5 Galleons) from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

Hello! So... I was wondering if it’s possible for a student to switch dorms, for example Jay is currently in the girls’ dorm since that’s the sex they were born with even though they’re currently an enbie buttt later on I’m thinking of developing Jays character to transition into being a guy. Pretty much, is it possible to switch from the girls dorm to the boys?

As how Professor Pendrast has said it here, "The coding of Hogwarts Hio makes it necessary for each student to be either a girl or a boy. When making an account you are required to select one of the two, all characters need to be either male or female. Some areas can only be accessed by females and some only by males [...]". The choices in the beginning of the creation of your account are permanent, so you won't be able to switch when it comes to dormitories.

I know that you can see our IP so I was just making sure that if another account from the same IP is okay as long as it's owned by two different people. My little sister is considering joining. I couldn't find where it mentions that but I remember seeing it.

So... @Lily Gray is a real life friend of mine and as I posted in the absences thread she will be ‘gone/inactive’ for a long time (1+ months) because of school (hee hee I’m all caught up) and because she’s having technical difficulties, I asked her if I could make a solo thread that pretty much is going to be about her going away back to Brazil and Jay being all dramatic and like, “Nooo my bestiee!! ” and she said sure, I have her permission to write a thing explaining her ‘disappearance’ in-character.

Is it okay for me to write the thing?

We really need them to say that it is OK. Because anyone can claim they were given the OK. Just make sure you have a paper trail of her consenting somewhere (text, discord, etc.) becaus if they come back and say: they did not have permission and you dont have something to prove you did you would b getting into some trouble.

As for siblings, we just need you and them to verify at the time of character creation that you are siblings and that is why there is a shared IP. We track these accounts in a special list so when future mods see the shared Ip we are not redoing the checks all over over.

There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

Hello,
I know this probably sounds silly but I'm still in the dark about the stats... Am I the one who chooses what fits my character best or are they chosen randomly? And if I'm the one to choose, I just add them to my trunk and send the index registration?

Hi @Virgil Lee! No question is silly and this is why this thread is made for answering any questions. And yes, you are the one to use the 35 stat points (if you want to stay human) and add each stats that fits your character. Here is a thread about Player Stats: Click Here

Let's say you want your character to focus more on magic, then it will be like this:

Stamina - 4
Evasion - 5
Strength - 3
Wisdom - 7
Arcane Power - 8
Accuracy - 8

(4+5+3+7+8+8= 35 stat points used)

It depends what you want your character to be good at, if you want to be good at dueling, then focus on his Wisdom, Arcane Power and Accuracy. Or you want to be a Quidditch Player then focus more on Strength, Accuracy and Evasion. And after you finish adding all the stats points in your trunk, then you can apply for the index registration.

Hello.

I'm sure there must be an answer to this silly question somewhere, but I've been wandering around for months now and I still haven't got the courage to start a thread and finally role play because of how big this space seems (too many things to read and I keep getting lost). Could somebody help?

I would like to start now: should I write as someone who's been enrolled since September, is on her first year of Hogwarts, and participates to all lessons etc even if I still don't have access to them?
Must be obvious, but I just want to be sure ;_;

Where is the best place for me to start, as a newbie?
