If during the holidays you still have ongoing thread that started before holidays, you can continue rp it.
If you decide to stay at Hogwarts for holidays and not go back home, you can start new threads in Hogwarts. In this case you can't start threads that would be elsewhere, as you can't be in two places at the same time and you already would choose to stay at Hogwarts.
If you choose to go home, you can't start new threads in Hogwarts dated same dates while you are visiting home.

How long do you usually have to wait to be a mentor after you have been added to the waitlist? I just noticed that quite a lot of people after me have been accepted into the program I applied in February, and was added to the waitlist in April, and people who were added in June have become mentors - adding for clarification

I believe that, due to the limited number of spots on the team, it really is just a matter of availability. When a new spot opens up, the next person in the waitlist is added, and then the next person is added to the waitlist. Someone correct me if this is incorrect.Amelia Lerelle wrote: 24 Dec 2025, 04:31 How long do you usually have to wait to be a mentor after you have been added to the waitlist? @Amelia Lerelle, @Charlotte Winfield is correct!
However, please note that we do background checks on potential mentors to see if they have aligned with our prerequisites. Others may be held back due to not having fulfilled prerequisites, and we could not take them in. But they will be reviewed by the Mentor Leads at a later stage.
