Yes, there will be. So, you'll only have one NPC to use on any one of these schools. Hope I could help

Months at least. The other schools will be introduced, but this a long term plot so it will take time. They also won't be all released at the same time. There is no predetermined order at the moment either.

Essentially what they said. This is a one school at a time sort of thing because we want to make sure that they are given an opportunity to be relevant, which is not possible when we open up the entire magical world. The reason for Ilvermorny over other schools is the political difference, some of the setting themes to come in stories (which is going to be reflected in the school) is how separation between muggles and wizards has effected students, their understanding of the non-magical world and to punctuate the concerns on both sides of the debate -- should we block off wizards from the muggle world entirely, open things up? There are actually great, valid complaints on both sides of this that will be wonderful to explore, hopefully provide more depth to your own characters and also let you experience the stories from an additional perspective. 

As for when the next school will be opened up. Not for several months, I have privately mentioned a rough plan for this to the HOH, this being the first (but hopefully not the last unless it is disastrous) school for NPC use. A relevant event will be announced in coming weeks and after the event information regarding their continued relevancy will be provided. Because the plan is to have relevant characters, you want to take your time and be certain that it is what you want because both you as well as myself and other involved staff will be spending a fair amount of time on them.

OK, I've got yet another question regarding the Ilvermorny event:

So, the Masked Ball is bound to get rather hairy and our dNPCs might want to use magic to defend themselves/light up a dark room/etc. I'd assume that older students can use all spells in the year below them (e.g. 4th years can use all 3rd year and below spells). However, my dNPC is a 1st year, but by the time she arrives at Hogwarts in October, she's bound to have learned some spells. So how will that work? And while the Ilvermorny students are at Hogwarts, will they attend classes with Hogwarts students in their year? Will they stay in a House's Dormitory?

I apologize if these answers will be released a bit later, if so just let me know.

There wont be a need for spells (probably). But uuuuhhhh .... you'll see. These don't have any stats atm. Will something go wrong? Yeah, probably... but I will be torturing your PCs more.
