berserk ability:Dexter Ragsdill wrote: 17 Jun 2022, 14:13Kinda ig. I got this idea from a fan fiction i wrote. Also, you still know who are. So you most likely wouldnt do this towards your best friend. Also Aurelia, I know nothing about giants XD.Kim Sato wrote: 17 Jun 2022, 14:03Hm, that sounds a lot like being a werewolf though to me.Dexter Ragsdill wrote: 17 Jun 2022, 13:39 Okay, here's my suggestion:
What if there was an ability that can make someone almost like a human beast? Such as whenever their extremely angry, pressured, or stressed, they just lose theirself for a moment; they become chaotic for a short period. An absolute rage. They even strike if they feel it's necessary. But it can't happen to anyone, only people that get angry easily.
But maybe that's just me.

Berserk: This is a state part giants can enter with 1 action where they increase their physical strength at the expense of their sanity costing 1 action. The part giant target gains +20% physical damage done (this being anything that requires strength) but they are no longer able to choose their target so their target will be anyone besides themselves. With a critical failure, the berserk wizard him/herself will also become a viable target of their own attacks. This lasts for 5 rounds and cannot be stopped even if their intended target is downed, they will simply target another person in the immediate area if there is any and if there is none then they will attack the environment. Upon a critical success, the user retains their ability to choose a target and when the target is downed they will stop attacking.

So Aurelia already mentioned this but that sounds like one of the abilities part giants have in their race and personality I don't think it would be fair if everyone could be allowed to obtain itDexter Ragsdill wrote: 17 Jun 2022, 13:39 Okay, here's my suggestion:

Also, werewolves are sort of that... they become a beast once a month from being human for the rest of the days

The adult system would make it possible for humans and specialty races to get advanced apparition and while already possible it makes it 'more' possible for someone post Hogwarts to consider both nonverbal and wandless. As for the Accio, it is recently not possible within the confines of our system to do what was done in the Magical Beasts movie linked. I do have a berserk skill built into part-giants and a transformative effect in werewolves.

While understanding that it would need help from both Zach Winslow and the staff in charge of abilities (in particular Beast Master ability), I'd love to suggest adding a couple of XX beasts ("generally harmless and can be domesticated") for official pets.
Whereas a couple of the beasts logically would not be allowed to take to school, such as Mooncalf and Winged Horse due to their size, I believe some of them will add flavour to our forum. The beasts I personally suggest would be:

Puffskein are Pygmy Puffs essentially.
So it would be kind of redundant to have them.
Like they aren't Puffskein but they are essentially Puffskein. XD

It could be that having an XX beast would require an ability (as well as OOC galleons and an RP post, just like all other pets), to make sure that they are relatively rare for students to have.

I believe adding the last pet (black cat) caused lots of problems backend that required hours of work from our admins to fix. Therefore new pets being added is highly unlikely. I do hope there will be some way to meet magical creatures in the future, though, just maybe not as pets

Well, they are common household pets in the wizarding world, so I do believe they are not rare.
Pygmy puffs are miniature puffskeins and they lack some traits common to a puffskein, thus I still am convinced they are different and won't be redundant to separate.
I trust it was a coding problem that was caused by the midnight stalker? Therefore I mentioned I believed adding pets would require much assistance from different parties; but sure, could be understood since we're all volunteers here! : D

Would it be possible to add undo and redo functionality to the reply panel?

CTRL+Z, for undo, and CTRL+Y, for redo, should work both in replies and quick replies. I have just checked their functionality in the two browsers I use, being Opera and Brave (which is a modified chromium source), and they work for me. If they aren't working for you, it is likely based on the browser you are using.
