Question of the Day
What is an everyday basic task/thing that you cannot do or have difficulties with?
I cannot use a washer. I have been taught time and time again on how to use my family's washing machine and even with the instructions written down, I just cannot figure it out. I can run the dryer perfectly fine, just not the washer. I also cannot ride a bike or whistle.
I find Vacuuming really hard, I can never get the thing to turn on, which is a pain.

WHAT IF I FALL? OH, MY DARLING
WHAT IF YOU FLY?

My mom is from a Spanish speaking country, so she sings a super long traditional happy birthday song for my birthday. I can't remember it for the life of me, but it's so sweet and beautiful. Apparently it's a huge deal when someone starts singing it at a birthday party in Latin America, because if someone starts it, everyone has to sing along or else you're like a horrible friend XD

Las Mañanitas?

Having eyes, but not seeing beauty; having ears, but not hearing music; having minds, but not perceiving truth; having hearts that are never moved and therefore never set on fire - these are the things to fear.

Nope. Those are different lyrics.

All I remember is that it says something about gathering with family and that it's a beautiful night or something like that.

It's quite fine. I'll have to ask my mom what it's called.

well, the song that Marius mentioned translates to
Reducio
These are “The Little Mornings”
of which King David used to sing.
For today is your birthday;
we sing them to you.

Wake up, my love <or name of person who celebrates their birthday>, wake up.
Look at what has dawned,
Already the little birds are singing,
The moon has already set.

How pretty is the morning
In which I come to greet you.
We all came with pleasure
and joy to congratulate you.

On the day you were born
All the flowers were born.
At the baptismal font
The nightingales sang.

It is starting to be dawn,
The day has given us light.
Get up in the morning,
Look that it has already dawned.

it's not that?
