So my husband had an idea about the reason for the site freaking out for some people but not for others. Maybe the HiO servers are located in Europe/Asia other countries that aren't the US. And for those in the US it's not working, taking longer to load, giving us site issues. But for those not in the US it's working fine as usual. Not sure if he's right or not, but that might be a reason.

Or maybe the site is getting updated or maintenance is going on that we don't know about?

The site does run on paris time so that may be correct

As Pei said, the servers are in France. That might be why it's weird for people in the US - I'm in the UK and it's fine for me here. If you're still having problems you can report them in the Technical Issues forum in the encyclopedia
