I love Hariraya too, even though we (my family) don't do anything that special.
I'm a really hyperactive teenager (running around school lots, doing after school martial arts) and I've passed out before for insisting on fasting so now I usually fast the week before Hariraya.

My mums family is on the other side of the world (Singapore), so we don't go too wild with celebrations. Though my mum will cook a giant feast just for us! It's super fun and we also dress up and it feels nice to wear a baju kurung and eat all my favorite foods plus quetarts! I'm so hungry right now thinking of it....

I love honey waffles and in summer my family makes honey waffles with cinnamon ice cream once a week for breakfast.

For me it is Fried eggs, bagels and cream cheese. It is a traditional breakfast at the sleep away camp I go to in the summer and I have it about once a week. Speaking of that, I’m going to check if we have bagels to go make breakfast.

I'm partial to waffles. Just a big, fluffy waffle drenched in maple syrup. Chocolate chip waffles are good, too!
