I'm just going to say a huge thank you to all of the heads of houses, for doing everything that you do to keep things going smoothly, as well as just being awesome in general. I especially thank Professor Browne, for helping me out when I was just a wee first year, and was very confused on how everything worked. I really am grateful for all of the effort you have put into this, and you will definitely be missed.

Thank you all for everything you have done to keep this site running and amazing. Professor Browne, thank you so much for everything you have contributed to Hufflepuff and for always making me want to be apart of Hufflepuff! I remember the first few months when I joined, I was very confused and I particularly remember all the HoH's being very helpful! You guys are amazing and will always be remembered. Whenever I first joined the site and struggled to find inspiration / belonging, I greatly enjoyed browsing through the different staff pages and getting to know the lovely folks behind the magic. Some of my favorite early memories include stalking your threads and encyclopedias. lol
I do not know any of you personally, but your hard work and presence has made an impact on me, and many other players. Thank you for the time and heart that you dedicated to this place, we are all better for it!

To all five of you, I'd like to extend not only my gratitude for all the things, both little and great, that you've done for this site, to make Hio The All Time Number One Wizarding World Role Play Site In the History of the Entire Universe! We didn't get to see you guys a whole lot on site, but I reckon you were probably just trapped somewhere in the site's coding and couldn't find a way out!

Especially for Marcus, I'd like to thank you for the cool things you've done for the werewolves of Hogwarts. That thread you hosted last year --- seriously Marcus, that was a pivotal moment in Colin's life. It was the moment he realised he didn't have to be afraid of lycanthropy and didn't have to fear being outed. He could just be himself, tell whoever he wanted, or, perhaps, tell everyone!

Thank you for your hard work thus far! Although you all are probably not teaching staff by profession OOC, I truly felt as if I was taken care of by teachers/mentor figures in a school setting because of your reliable and efficient natures. Your presence truly shone a light on this community, and left an undeniable impact in making the site the amazing place it is today.
To Professor Browne who acted as Hufflepuff's Head of House:
As a Hufflepuff who was under your care, your presence was there from the start of my journey at HIO and you have – like the other departing HoHs – helped to shape the house culture that we have and love in HIO today.

I regret that I didn't get to know you all very well, but I can certainly see and appreciate all that you have done for our school! I know that your job was likely one of a lot of effort and work and very little recognition and appreciation. It takes a special kind of person to dedicate all that you have to a volunteer position, and I hope you know what a difference you have made in the experience of every student that learned and played under your leadership.

As someone who returned to the site after a very long break, the task felt daunting and intimidating, but it was the mod team that made me feel welcome once more.
