Pax knew it wasn't worth getting complacent too quickly as they watched their bludger swing and miss the target. Of course it wasn't worth getting complacent. Their grip on their bat continued to tighten as their jaw clenched out of frustration.

At least everyone else seemed to be getting on with their roles alright. Everyone was still on their brooms, at least for now.

The clamour of the crowd roared above Odi’s thoughts as one of his teams chasers, Haley Rose, shot the quaffle into the rings for a second time. Odi smiled as the announcement rang out the news that Gryffindor were now 10 points ahead of Slytherin, with the score standing at 30-20 to the Lions.

Losing himself in reverie once more, a brief vision flashed in Odi’s head of the post-match celebrations in the Gryffindor common room, but he quickly reminded himself not to count his eggs before they were hatched.

Abilities: Part-Veela
Effect: Alluring: If a Part-Veela is being attacked there will be an urge to assist or protect them. Each round there is a 10% chance that an opponent in a duel or a moderated situation will decide to ally with the Part-Veela even against their own allies and attempt to protect them. This is not necessarily a romantic thing, but rather could be roleplayed as a fascination, a desire to not let something pretty be ruined, etc. This has nothing to do with sexual attraction unless as an RP'er that is what the user wishes to RP it as. This ability does not affect other Veela or Part-Veela. It will not stack if multiple Veela or Part-Veela are present.

Koko’s gaze scanned the Quidditch Pitch, searching for falling teammates. One could never be sure whether or not the other team would have a penchant for violence. She kept her gaze trained downwards, but she saw nothing of note. She frowned. Green grass sparkled beneath her.

She heard the telltale ding that meant Gryffindor had scored points, and she grit her teeth. She should have been blocking the goals. Alas, falling—or not-falling—teammates were more important.

Excels at catching falling allies as well as getting them back to their broom quickly.

This broom can carry multiple people. When someone uses the catch option to rescue a falling teammate, they can catch one additional teammate in a given round. If the user has the ability Catch then a user can catch an indefinite number of teammates in a round, but for each person they catch after the first there is a stacking 20% auto-failure chance.

On the next round, as a free action (meaning both users can make a normal action) the rider and ONE passenger (if there are multiple sharing the broom, it would cost both of their actions to return them to their broom also) can retrieve a single broom.

Percival gritted his teeth together as that familiar drasted ding rang out across the quidditch pitch. A statement to their slowly growing losing streak. The boy held onto his broom stick. The game so far was neck-and-neck. With Gryffindor trailing 10 points ahead of the house of green and silver. And just like a crescendo of music played at an orchestra house, the game builds up. Though the Slytherin Quidditch team trailed a bit behind, Cash believed their team would prevail. No. The Slytherin team MUST prevail.

When Cash's passenger pointed them up to fly into the Quaffle scrimmage, Cash did not question their Captain. And when the Quaffle had been pulled by many hands and Cash unsuccessfully gain any, at least Hawkins did. Cash was not a Chaser, they were a Beater and so either Chen or Hawkins had the best chance than they were.

Though both Cash and Dan were busy immersing both of themselves in the battle of Quaffle grabbing and scoring, the soon-to-be fifth-year was still a Beater to the core. And so, when Zhang sent the metal death of a bludger towards their way, from the corner of Cash's eyes they show it coming.

The unmercifully of cannonball fly fast at Cash and their passenger but Cash had anticipated the incoming missile. So, before the bludger even hit them, Cash had been swerved out of the way. The bludger sailed passed them and Cash pulled the shaft of their broom to halt them for a brief moment up in the air.

"Is that the best you got?"Cash taunted the Gryffindor's team captain. But what they did not calculate was the second attack that came from Smith. "Holy hell!"The young Ironwoods exclaimed. The jolt of the attack shocked Cash a bit. They took a quick head turn to make sure Palmer was alright and still secure striding their share broom.

"You okay back there?"They inquired. The green eyes then took a deep sharp breath to calm their shock. "What's next, Capt? Should we try to wrap it up and win the game faster?"Cash asked and waited for the next instruction that Palmer will tell them to do so.

Even if he really really really wanted to make a few jokes at Elena's expense, he wouldn’t. Because he was above that and had the horrible thought that he would be manifesting these jokingly snide yells into reality the moment he said them. And they did NOT have enough points to forgive that type of karma that happened.

Also, Elena might just horribly maim him.

Mellani was getting more used to quidditch second by second as she saw people get hit with bludgers, knowing she could do nothing but watch all of it unfold. The teams were still tied, and Mellani longed for something more to happen. She was slightly less nervous of having to join the team, since so far, it didn't really seem like they needed her.

xxNo longer tied up. Anyone’s game at this point. Maggie felt that familiar passion for her craft return as she sunk a goal, arms outstretched above her head and a characteristic grin plastered on her face. Sure, she loved the game ordinarily, win or lose—but it felt a hell of a lot better to be making goals and drawing out crowd reactions. Call her self-centered, but it was part of the reason she did this stuff in the first place.
