It had been a terrible choice to come. Every part of her was telling her to leave as soon as possible. Imagine she ended up stuck sitting through a meal, then through the night. Then through the next day. No, she had barely survived the last hour.
She gave the ballroom one last scan, making sure that she knew no one—and that she wasn’t being watched. How embarrassing would it be to leave a party early. She felt so exposed among the well dressed pureblood families, and she knew she wouldn’t be able to slink out. So she straightened her shoulders, tossed her hair over her shoulder and strode out of there, as if she belonged. If she attracted any eyes, hopefully she looked the same as everyone else. Snobby.
Once she was out of sight, her posture loosened, and she walked out. She knew the way, she had paid attention to directions on her way there.x

The top 3 were chosen and given their rewards and the guests slowly started to make their way home. Some chose to remain at the mansion, opting for an overnight stay, while others used the fireplace or front entrance to leave. Kim reunited with Eun-ji for a brief time, spending some time with her for awhile before she and her family had to leave. He'd noticed a few other familiar faces during the evening but hadn't really interacted with them. Despite what others thought of him, Kim was not a very social person and would sooner avoid people than go up to and greet them. Other than Eun-ji, Kim noticed Valentin had come there. A shadow fell over his face at the thought of Valentin. Whenever he saw or heard of Valentin, he remembered Sophia. Valentin seemed busy with his thoughts at the time though and Kim watched as he disappeared to head upstairs to his assigned room. Well, at least he felt comfortable enough to stay there. Kim knew what it was like to want to be alone and not have to talk to anyone. It was then that he spotted Bailey and Kim made his way over to her. "Hello stranger. You doing alright?" He said, leaning down over the back of her chair to peer over her shoulder. "Sorry for taking so long before I came to find you, I was held up and then was... avoiding some people..." Kim told the girl. "How's the food?" He asked her, waiting for a response. |

Akira =
Age 17, oldest son. He is helpful, has leadership qualities, friendly and is perfect for events and important things. Hana =
Age 16, middle son. He is quiet, respectful, and never gets mad or annoyed by anything or other people. He sees the best in the situation and in others, keeps to himself most of the time and is stylish when it comes to clothes.
Ai =
Age 15, youngest son. He is rebellious, speaks his mind, spontaneous, does what he wants, and has no filter. He is the one his siblings and parents need to look out for because he gets himself into trouble all the time. Akira is usually the one who tries to shut him up or drags him off before Ai can go too far.
Chen Family
Wei + Li (father + mother of Lei, Kei, Mei & Rei) =
Parents. They like making personal connections with everyone, regardless of blood status. They especially want non-purebloods on their side, so if it comes down to it, they will have an advantage over purebloods should the scales ever tip in the opposite direction. They seek alliances with non-purebloods and prioritize them over purebloods, something the main Sato family (Hiro + Kwan) do not agree with.
Lei =
Age 7. Oldest (by 3 minutes) of the twins. He is like Bang Chan from SKZ. He has leadership + Gryffindor + Hufflepuff qualities and is friendly, perceptive, caring, compassionate, responsible and dependable. However, he becomes vengeful after the incident happens (in the future when he's grown up a bit more) and a new 'persona' is born, which is instrumental in him obtaining 'justice'.
Kei =
Age 7. Youngest (by 3 minutes) of the twins. He is responsible, prefect-like, and a strict rule abider. He started off with navy blue robes (quite a feat) with his goal being for eventual gold robes. He does not joke, takes things literally all the time, and has no sense of 'fun'. His siblings always tease him about this.
Mei =
Age 6. Middle child and only sister of the siblings. She is cute and she knows it, using her charm and aegyo to get whatever she wants. She looks after Rei, as she's protective of the youngest. At this particular time (age 6) she just seems cute and adorable rather than hot/sexy but as she grows older, that will change into hotness.
Rei =
Age 5. Youngest son. He is a jokester and messes around all the time. He is energetic, happy and surprisingly naive and innocent. It is easy to take advantage of him as he will usually believe anything someone says as long as they possess good acting skills, or can be very convincing. This is why Mei tends to look out for him.
Regarding the Chen family, Lei, Kei, Mei + Rei aren't really that developed as of right now as they are all only age 7 and below. But this is just to give you a general idea of what they'll be like later.

where is kim..? bailey wondered. She had sat down, looking for someone to talk too, but so far had be unsuccessful - especially since she rarely was without someone she knew. geeze this pureblood thing is really intense...... maybe i shouldn't have bugged kim so much about bringing me... bailey pushed THAT particular negative thought out of her head. She should be grateful!! Regaining her confidence for the upteenth time, bailey smiled brighter when she spotted Kim coming over towards her.
Smiling up at Kim, she said "im surviving - thank you for letting me come. your house.... it's gorgous!"
Kim then proceeded to ask how the food was - food was a popular topic for both of them, and she had truly enjoyed the food.
"the food was delicious kim - i dunno if you helped make it, but whoever did make it did a delightful job! if you did help, you'll have to share some of your recipes with me!"
bailey's smile became mischievous, and her eyes twinkled. She knew she could convince kim to do honestly anything, and she was quite sure he'd enjoy showing her how to make something she didn't know how to make.
Bailey turned to fully face kim now, taking in his outfit. They matched - him in a black suit jacket and pants, along with a white shirt, and her in an elegant black dress and black heels. Their hair colors were similar too for once, and bailey had the absent thought i wonder if he has a more neutral hair color because of his parents...
Bailey decided to ask "what else do you have planned? tonight has been wonderful! but it is getting late... and i wouldn't want to miss any of my beauty sleep" bailey let out a light laugh here, showing she was joking.

"These events tend to be a pain in the ass." He told her with a shake of his head. "But once I'm here, I can't escape. They always try and rope me into doing things and I can't really say no when I'm at home. That's why I tend to always find an excuse to stay away as often as I can. I don't like pureblood functions." Kim confessed to Bailey again. "I hope you at least got some good food into you while I was gone?" He asked and shook his head as Bailey asked if he'd made the food. "No, that was either the work of my parents or the house elves." Kim told her. When Bailey asked what else Kim had planned, the blond tilted his head to the side a little. "I don't really have much planned since I wasn't planning on coming this year. But since you insisted on coming, I thought I'd just take what free time I can sneak off with and spend it with you. If that's of interest?" He asked with a raised brow. "Let me show you to your room." Kim told her with a twitch of his lips. After all, Bailey would be sleeping over. Once Kim had shown her to her room, he paused. "Stay there for a second, I want to get you something." Kim told her. When he eventually returned, he was carrying something in his hands, which was concealed under a large dome. Upon reaching the door, he knocked and when Bailey let him in, Kim would enter and close the door behind him. Going over to the tasteful piece of furniture off to the side, he placed the dome on top of the table there. "Take the cover off." Kim told her with a faint smile on his lips. When Bailey did so, she would see a beautiful blueberry cheesecake with graham cracker crust on a platter, before her cute blue eyes. Reducio  Kim produced a cake knife and two plates from behind his back. He placed them onto the table beside the cake. "Let's take a bite. I don't think you got around to the dessert, right?" Kim asked as he waited to see what Bailey's reaction would be. |
