Neither duelist was ending passively - they had time enough for one last shot and they were going to take it. Victory was on the line.

Flipendo would once again be the name of the game. Badger and Snake alike would rattle off their incantations and produce the magic needed. And each would filing it towards the other with deadly precision. It was almost like looking at a mirrored image, as both duelists made the same moves.

No matter the side you watched, you would see a duelist hit by a flipendo. Neither was able to escape. Perhaps they had been too tired. Whatever the reason, they would both be standing. An impressive feat for first time duelists.

That was time. Galton’s voice would ring out over the piste “STOP!” He would make his way to the middle of the stage and make his closing remarks. Each team was undoubtedly bloodied, by the Badger looked far sturdier than the Snake. “Time has elapsed! Hufflepuff prevails sustaining the least damage! Congratulations to all duelists - it was a well fought match - a nail biter!

With the match called he would make for his usual post-match ritual: candy for the participants! Pea would get a visit from Galton first. He would commend her fortitude and perseverance. Most importantly, he would hand her a licorice wand.

He would make his way over to Emma and do similar. Congratulate her on the win and her skill, then give her the real prize - a licorice wand.

Once everyone and everything that may need seeing to was finished in the dueling club, he would make his way to the hospital wing to present the (hopefully conscious) other duelists with their licorice wands and a few words of encouragement.
