OOC: Despite most of my IRL mentoring/teaching/tutoring attempts blowing up in my face, I still love to get the chance to help people, whether answering their questions or guiding them to the right place. I think that my mentoring attempts will work this time because this is a very supporting and amazing community, and a community like that only exits if the people in it make it exist.

IC: Aurora is a very friendly person and always loves to help other people, whether by completing errands or something else, like teaching them how to do a certain spell correctly. She's willing to help her classmates/teammates, and also her house. Especially her house. She's the kind of person that you really don't mind being around.

Why do you want to be a mentor? I had a mentor on my old account when I first joined and it was very helpful. I’d love to help others find their footing on site like I did. I feel that I would be able to help others figure out how to make an encyclopedia, get registered with index, and start roleplaying. I’m active on site and would be able to help mentees. I love this site and would very much enjoy helping others to not be as confused with parts that might seem difficult to figure out.

Why do you want to be a mentor? I've played on many roleplaying sites over the years, and I know just how important it is to feel accepted by the community. It truly makes or breaks the experience. Especially on a site as complex and daunting as this one, in order to feel comfortable, you certainly need to have a little extra hand holding to understand all the things you can (and can't) do. It's always been a passion of mine to help people, and I've been wanting to be more engaged on this site in a more impactful fashion.

Why do you want to be a mentor? I have invited my fair share of friends to the site, and they always have one thing in common. Confusion, usually about many things. From encyclopedias to roleplays, most things are new for players. Having seen this confusion first-hand, I know how much a guide is needed. I want to be a mentor to help guide new players in everything about the site, and expand my experience. Being a mentor is a way to change the course of a new players time here on site, and I want to be the positive mentor to do that.

Why do you want to be a mentor? It had always been within my deepest desires to help around the site however I can. I still recall day 1 with how navigation was a bit hectic for me, until I found this program. I believe it is also time to also help new members of our community too. It would really be fulfilling to help other fellow community members get well-acquainted/established.

Why do you want to be a mentor? I know that Hio can be quite complicated at first, I went through the same thing, I probably would have given up if Fang hadn't helped me with everything I needed!

Why do you want to be a mentor?
I’ve always enjoyed helping out other site, members and answering any questions they have had. I remember when I first started on site and how lost and confused I was. I never joined the mentor program because I never knew about it, but if I had it would have completely changed my time on site. To be honest I would have given up without Ava Winchect answering my crazy and probably annoying questions. I now have more time on my hands, so I feel ready to help and get rid of scared or overwhelmed feelings from new faces on the site.

Why do you want to be a mentor?
So when I first joined the site, I was really confused by just about everything as it was my first time actually being on a roleplay site, but I taught myself mostly how everything worked and got the hang out it, completely unaware of a mentor system. However, as I roleplayed, did homework, and overall used Hogwarts.io, I have gotten better as a writer and it's honestly a great feeling I wish to share with others.

Adding on, this would be a great opportunity to help others get into the groove of roleplaying and potentially even making friends with excellent people. I find myself very patient and in a professional manner will explain what they are doing wrong(if such events occur) and will even go out of my way to make screenshots, edit them, to help the user find something they previously couldn't find(e.g. where to make a signature.).

I overall want to help others understand this site and try my best to encourage them to be an active roleplayer and member for Hogwarts.io.
