Whatever had gone wrong last time didn't now, and Lamik not only successfully spread his spell out, but also hit both of his targets. He was close, he knew he was. Any moment now they would fall over. All he had to do was fight for a bit longer. Of course, this didn't seem like too much of an issue until after he dodged Ileen's spell. A strange feeling quickly overcame him, like someone was brushing a bunch of feathers all over his body. Immediately his chest tightened as he did his best to remain standing.

There has never been a closer match than this one going into the last round.
Hanako was determined to set Lamik aflame on top of him already laughing his booty off. But ultimately he missed. Whether it was because he just aimed poorly or because he saw his impending end, who's to say. Ileen wanted to keep Lamik dizzy and attempted to hit him with a Wind Jinx but her wand backfired, hitting her with her own jet of wind and keeping her off kilter for a moment. Lamik landed a knockback jinx that sent Hanako flying back and falling unconscious. It was said that Willow who was definitely not the mod of this duel felt a brief moment of joy at her ultimate enemy falling. The duel was stopped and Hanako was taken to the hospital wing before continuing into the last round where really anything could happen.@Lamik Fillestar - @Everly Charlton - @Ileen Knight - @Hanako Tone

And just like that things were back to being phenomenal. Ileens spell backfired, Hanako missed, and Lamik hit the latter hard enough to knock him out of the duel. There was the matter of the tickling, which was unpleasant to say the least, but overall Lamik felt more confident then ever that he would win this duel. Through blurry eyes and between bouts of laughter, he watched Ileen closely, planning his next move.

Gryffindor vs Slytherin: Match 3
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Nothing was going as planned. There had been that brief moment when Ileen and Hanako had risen from the ashes of their burned robes and looked as if they might have a chance to turn the tide after all. And this inconceivable image was now shattered.
They had fought and bled, but nothing seemed to be enough. The experience of the older student was so noticeable at that moment. Although Hanako's tickle spell was on him, he managed not only to avoid the attacks, but also to send out a successful one.
Ileen's wand seemed to turn against her and for the second time her control slipped. Her eyes widened as Hanako was hit by the powerful spell. The thin bond that the two had forged (at least from her point of view) tugged painfully in her chest and a wave of guilt came over her as she saw him go down. Should she have healed instead of attacking?
Her will was weak and her wand felt it. Or maybe she had made a mistake. Instead of shooting toward Lamik and knocking him off course, she found herself in her own painful storm shortly after.
As usual, the duel was interrupted when Hanako was carried off the stage. Ileen gritted her teeth and looked after him with guilt and nervousness. The wind tugged at her and she could barely keep herself on her feet. It was tempting to just give up and get down on her knees.
No! No way! Fight to the last! Full of determination, she struggled to her feet and looked up at the Gryffindor boy. Hanako's mocking laughter and ill-advised comments echoed in the back of her head. It was frightening how good they had done her in that second. "Then let's get it over with. And be it our last dance." Her voice was weak but determined. She might lose, but she would not stop fighting.

GRYFFINDOR WINS!
This duel had been one of the most uncertain ones that Lydia had ever moderated: both teams had kept up an amazing duelling game, tilting the fate of the duel back and forth. At the beginning it looked like Gryffindor would have been a sure winner, but the Slytherin team had managed to tilt the situation and got a big advantage. However, Lamik had not given up on his team, and even though he was the only one left, he still tried his best, and right after having eliminated Hanako, well, the fate of the duel was pretty much decided.
That didn't stop Ileen from trying with everything she had to win the duel; despite the wind blowing against her, she raised her wand and aimed for Lamik; the boy however, was more than ready for that, and he easily and effortlessly avoided the Knockback Jinx. With that last spell, the duel had reach the end, and Lydia stepped onto the platform. "Everybody, wands up!" she said, before she looked towards the two duellists. "The duel has reached its conclusion, and Gryffindor has won!" clapping her hands, she then motioned towards Lamik, before she continued talking. "Congratulation to the Gryffindor team for the victory, and to the Slytherin team for the incredible duel they had.
