With Katherine gone, a few short remarks were exchanged. Aurelia challenged them, essentially to come at her, which of course they would have to be doing now if they had any intention of winning. Delilah replied with a confident promise to do so, and Callie... said she was hungry. It didn't seem terribly relevant to the banter, but it didn't matter much anyhow, as it was right back into casting.
Delilah put her healer cap on once more, providing Callie another bout of relief for her burns and bruises. With the exception of her first attempt, she was doing a marvelous job in the role of support. It might drag the duel out, but keeping herself and her teammate in decent condition was a way to keep their advantage.
At the same time, Callie and Aurelia aimed to give each other problems seeing. Callie's Obscuro just barely missed; in fact, Aurelia might have felt the fabric brush past her face. The Gryffindor responded with a spell she'd attempted several times now, finally ending her streak of unsuccess. Not a mere blindfold, Callie's eyes swelled up, leaving her with just slits of vision. That didn't look pleasant in the least. A small comfort might be that she was no longer on fire, and that she wasn't facing a fifth year alone.

Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw: Match 6
Callie, despite the fact that she was a few short years younger, proved to be quite an avid duelist. Aurelia would put blame on her inexperience that resulted in multiple missed spells. A slit of fabric would brush past her cheek, too close. On the other hand, Aurelia's spell would hit its mark, hindering the girl's vision. Delilah, to Aurelia's chagrin, head healed her teammae.

@Callie Jensen | @Aurelia Notrésvace[font=Times new roman]Was the duel almost over? It was hard to tell, healing Callie effectively although she was very quickly hit with a spell from the opposing team. Callies spell certainly seemed to be close to hitting Aurelia, just missing by a fraction. Some of these spells were very close, almost to a stressful degree, but it was okay, the duel wasn't going too badly. It should be okay.

Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw: Match 6
Time didn’t seem to be moving normally for Callie, especially in a situation like this. The girl loved duelling but when things dragged on like this? It was difficult to muster that same love for the sport. Especially when she couldn’t quite shake that hunger in her stomach…or the thought of a burger. Regardless she planned to continue more so out of obligation but she didn’t completely push the burger from her mind.

ReducioMissed deadline
The duel up to this point had been dominated by Knockback Jinxes and fire, but now the focus seemed to be on taking away each other's sight. Two Blindfolding Spells were on the lips of the eldest players, and this would be no exchange of limp half-efforts.
No, these were impressive casts, black fabric streaking across the stage almost imperceptibly. Poor Callie, having difficulty seeing as it was, stood no chance, the blindfold wrapping uncomfortably tight around her already irritated eyes, though at least that swelling had already been decreasing when her eyes disappeared from view. If she'd been something of a sitting duck before, she was even more so now, and it all happened too fast for her to make any move of her own.
It wouldn't have been a precarious position for the third year had her partner's spell landed. Delilah's cast was strong, not as well-aimed as Aurelia's but solid just the same. But Aurelia? Somehow she managed to get off what looked like a perfect cast and retain the ability to be quick on her feet. She'd made dodging look easy, and with that turn of events, she had a brief equivalent of a one-on-one.

@Callie Jensen | @Aurelia Notrésvace[font=Times new roman]And still it keeps going, time was going in slow motion, Delilah missing despite her best efforts and Callie not being able to respond in time before getting blindfolded. This was an issue, how are they going to solve this? The luck went right back down again right after it had went up. They had a chance before and now it was dwindling.

The last spell cast at her was far too close but had made here much more wary and prepared. Sure enough, her steps were light and swift, taken with such grace and poise. The movements of former dancer. Albeit lost touch over the years, her grace still remained. Now the skill served its purpose in duel. So effortlessly had Aurelia moved out of the older Ravenclaws spell trajectory.

Now she couldn’t even see! Man, she really needed to reassess this whole luck thing. Maybe even burn whatever lucky charm she had picked since it clearly hadn’t done much to help. Perhaps it was just Callie but everything seemed to be dragging along now..or maybe that was just her stomach talking.
