First Year Entrance 2021-2022

Juniper sat in silence in the boat for about... 5 seconds. Which was a really long time! Feel proud of her! That's a record, really, it is. Two other people were in her boat, one of which was introducing himself to the other girl, but that didn't matter to Juniper. She really felt as if she could speak now. "Hi! I'm Juniper! From ireland! Dublin to be exact! " She thrust her hand at the boy happily in the process. She swung her feet, and grabbed the dge of the boat. "Isn't this so cool! We're on a boat that moves on its own!!!!"

She rocked back and forth in her seat, and leaned over the edge to look at the water. "Woah woah wowza!" She said, and then voices raised.

People were yelling, screaming. Juniper heard the word "SQUID" and gasped. "OMG SQUIDWARD?! WHERE?!"

She heard a splash.. did someone fall in? There was screaming. "OH MY GAWSH THEY FELL! MISTER MISTER! THEY- OMG SHE'S DROWNING! WAIT NO! SHE'S TRYING TO HELP! " She said frantically, pointing and stating the obvious. She leaned forward. "They need help!"

The guy, however, pulled them back up. Juniper frowned. Boring.

She continued to search the water. "Someone said squid? Where's squiward, I want to smooch him!" She said, with no shame whatsoever.

She was leaning so much now, careless about the fact that others had fallen.

What was that movement? Someone's glasses! Or SQUIDWARD!
"I'LL GET THEM!" She shouted, leaping off the boat, and swimming in the dark water. It probably wasn't a good idea, but if she died, she'd die happy with squidward. She reached for the dark figure of glasses, and grabbed them before they sank fully.

"Now WHERE'S SQUIDWARD" She demanded, holding the glasses above the water and using her legs to keep afloat.

"OH WHO'S ARE THESE?!" She asked, spitting water.

OOC: so my og plan was to have her fall in, but others beat me to it. Sorry to have her jump in, but it's something she totally would do... so...

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL? Was it as awesome as it sounds? Would Cody just have to leap into the boat to make the best of himself? Well, he would have to join the fourth boat. All the other ones seem to be full. The boy mildly shrieked, not as high pitched as a girl's shriek would be, but as a lower, more toned voice more fitting for the boy. But, as he hasn't reached his teenage years yet, he hasn't gotten the effect, or the curse, of puberty.

Regardless, he straightened his shirt, and looked up with a dignifying smile. He started off with a run, embracing himself. He leaped into the fourth boat. He stood up in the boat, slightly rocking it. Someone fell in? In the water? If this was a magic school, wouldn't there be dangers? Not everything has a perfect illusion. He assumed that there was a creature in the water, when a girl, in his boat, seemed to try to find a... Squidward.

"Spongebob fan right?" The boy asked, slightly frowning. He wasn't a fan of Spongebob. Squidward was a rude character, and yet it seemed to be his twin's favorite character from the entire Muggle Nickalodian Series. "Psst. These Pureblood wizards will more than likely not know who you are talking about. Hi. I'm Cody Stevenson. I'm hoping to be a Hufflepuff. What about you?"

He gave her a small amount of time to talk, as something else captured his eyes. There was a neat looking wand on board, and it seemed to be the girl's that he was talking to. "So, Juniper, what is your wand?"

The boy grimanced, looked at his wand, and immediately looked abashed. "My wand, has the wood of Dogwood, the core of Troll Whisker, the length is longer than my arms, and the flexibility is very unbendable." The boy nodded.

The beautiful and high quality robe almost got wasted, she almost died and could have gotten humiliated in front of everyone, that was horribly depressive for the first year, upon hearing Dancelos complain the girl gave up on fighting the wanna be gentleman boy who attempt to court ladies by vomiting on them.

-Anyway thanks for trying to save me, she said addressing to the blond girl that attempted to save her from drowning .

She took a breath and hesitated a bit before talking back to Avery.

-Sorry, did not meant to push you out the boat, but by Merlin's beard vomiting on me was so disgusting mate ! And my robe is actually really expensive you know ! She said trying to apologize while still justifying her action.

- No hard feeling okay ? She added.

Hildegard did not really want to start Hogwarts by making enemies, but she did however keep that event somewhere in her head, Avery would only be forgiven if he apologized, that was Hilda's philosophy. Would she forget about it ? It really depended, she still barely knew him so at least for now she classified what had happened as an unfortunate accident rather than a reason to hate the Asian boy.

As Tyzon was talking to Grace while they traversed the dark waters in their boat, he turned around as another first year in the boat had started speaking to him and Grace. He gave her a smile as she introduced herself to them. “Hey Juniper. I'm Tyzon. I’m from Leeds, England.” He informed her with his smile. When she asked him about how cool it was to be in a boat that moved on its own, it wasn’t exactly a new thing for the Pureblood boy, as he had ridden several different vehicles that were driven by magical means. “This isn’t my first time being in a magical vehicle. First time in a boat tho.” He informed her. “I’m a pureblood, so I've seen a few different self-driving magical vehicles from time to time.” He said with a smile. I’ll have to show you sometime when school lets out.” He added.

Tyzon quickly turned his head and moved to the side of the boat when Juniper had informed everyone about one of the other boats, capsizing and having all of the students on it fall into the water. “That can’t be good.” He said out loud. He watched on as all of a sudden a giant Squid rose above. “Sweet baby jesus!” Tyzon shouted at the thing, as he saw it. Then he watched as the Caretaker jumped into the water and helped the soaked students with getting back into the boats and with the squid problem they had. “This school year is going to be nuts.” He said out loud, as he was judging by all the events that had happened and he wasn’t even at the actual school yet.

Then when everything seemed to have been back to normal, Juniper got up and said she was going to go into the water and get a pair of glasses floating in the water. “Juniper, I don't think you should go into that water. I’m sure the caretaker can use a spell to g….” Was all he was able to get out of his mouth before Juniper completely ignored him and before he knew it, she was swimming in the water like a seahorse. “Come on, get back into the boat. You’re gonna freeze to death in there, this late at night!” He shouted at Juniper so she would swim back this way and get back into the safety of the boat. “You can find the owner of the glasses when the boats dock on the other side.” He said out loud to her, in hopes she would come to her senses and get back into the boat.

"OMG you know what spongebob is?! YOU'RE SO COOL!" She said, smiling. "Well, they're stinky then because spongebob is awesome." She turned to Tyzon. "It's NoT?! There are more things that move on their own?! Wowza!" She said, jumping in her seat.

She turned to Cody. "Uh.. I don't remember! But yours is kinda cool! BUt mine is SUPER cool!" She waved her wand in his face. "You seem smart. I have no idea what Hufflepuff is. But cool beans!" She thrust two thumbs up at the boy happily.

She turned to Tyzon. "I know! Aren't you excited!" She was ready for a crazy year, that was Juniper for you. She enjoyed the crazy things, even if there was danger.

To be fair, if someone bribed her with chocolate frogs she would do just about anything, so maybe Hogwarts wasn't the safest place for Juniper. Ah, well.

Tyzon protested to her statement. "Don't worry Calzone! I've got it handled!" She had gifted the boy a nickname. A lovely nickname that shall stick forever till the end.

And then she jumped. She reached to the glasses, keeping an eye out for Squidward, her beloved Squidward.

"But if he doesn't get his glasses, HE'LL MISS THE REST OF THE VIEW!" She shouted. "I'll NEVER FREEZE, I REFUSE! "

She said. "I HAVE SKIN MADE OF STEEL! I'LL NEVER FREEZE TO DEATH!" Not true. "You can pull me back in the boat once I throw these glasses to the owner!"

When Avery smelled it Hildegard blushed she did not expect someone would found that out, is stressed as she did not want him to notice it and believed it would make a ruckus big enough for everyone to notice her accident.
Thankfully for her she was saved by Dancelos, as the girl pointed at the vomit the music fanboy had on himself Hildegard added to the remark.

- OH yeah that's the vomit you have ! Just wash it it smell horrible ! She said.

The disable girl looked at her savior, unsure if she said that because it was the truth or because she understood it was pee and saved her before anyone notice it. Because of that she hesitated to thank her in case it would just draw more attention to herself.
All she had to do is stay silent and wait until the caretaker Kit would use his spell again on her.
So she waited trying to stay as far away from the spotlight, meditating on what just happened on the first day thinking it sure would be something to remember of.

-So Dancelos tell me a bit more about yourself ? I already know Avery from the train. She said.
