Summer Camp Truth or Dare Group 5 Closed

Paige smiled as the girl she had talked to earlier walked up to her. She waved, "Hi again. How was my dancing?" She joked, laughing just slightly. She raised her eyebrows, for Starlee had said this would be better than the last dare Paige just did. This got Paige very interested and excited, because she knew this would be fun. And indeed it would be. Paige clapped her hands excitedly as Starlee gave a dare. "Oh, good one!! Let me give my person their dare first, okay?"

She held the paper in her hand, scanning the faces with her eyes, as if expecting Calypso To jump out at her waving her arms. But that wouldn't happen, she knew it. She began to think if her options. She could make the girl dance, but that was boring. She could make her sing? Nah. What could she do? She wanted it to be funny, something not mean.

Suddenly, she got a very good idea. She walked up to groups of people asking if they were Calypso. Finally, she walked up to a dark haired girl. "Are you Calypso?" If the girl said yes, Paige would smile. "Okay, I dare you to... act like a robot for this round!" It was perfect, really. It would be entertaining to watch. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to try and lick my elbow." She said with a laugh.

She bent her elbow and stuck her tongue out. She couldn't get her elbow! Just her arm!

Atlas seemed a little disappointed with the dare she'd been given at first, but after a

few minutes she was gleefully shouting 'pickles' as if it were great fun. That could have gone worse, Calypso thought. Her dare-giving settled, she set her mind to dare-getting.

The young Gryffindor didn't have to look far, as Paige Grant, a Hufflepuff in her year,

soon walked up to her asking if she was Calypso. "Yep, I sure am." A smile from Paige. "Okay, I dare you to... act like a robot for this round!" She could do that. "Sure thing." Her voice was mechanical. "Commencing social interactions. How is your day going, human?" Calypso kept her face blank, and tried to blink as little as possible. She moved her arms jerkily like a person dancing "the Robot" in one of those old movies. "By moving my limbs I am taking part in a Homosapien custom known as dancing." The faux robot stopped moving and stood rigid as a board. "What is a robot's favorite genre of music? Heavy metal. That was another human custom known as humor. Ha. Ha. Ha."

Paige was now attempting to lick her elbow. Her dare, Cal assumed. "It is physically

impossible to touch one's tongue to one's elbow. From any angle, the average human tongue is too short to reach the tip of the joint. You will not be able to complete this task, unless you have an unusually long tongue or are incredibly flexible." Sure enough, the Hufflepuff failed. "Oh no. My motherboard is short-c-c-c-circuiting." Cal didn't know much about robots, so she was just guessing with the technical speak. She seized up, twitched a few times, and dropped to the ground in a dramatic fake death.

Noticing the kids around her going back over to the flaming goblet to receive new truths

or dares, Calypso got up and brushed herself off, laughing. "That was fun, Paige," Cal said in her normal voice. "Maybe we'll bump into each other again sometime. I think I'm going to go read in my cabin for a while." Waving goodbye, Calypso headed away from the group of kids. I'll admit, she thought as she walked to Hippogriff hut, that wasn't as bad as I expected. Though maybe some of the robot stuff I did was a little embarrassing.

Oh ho ho, from the previous dare's she had seen, she certainly wasn't prepared for the one she was just given. 'Kiss her full on the lips? No, thank you very much.' She hadn't had her first kiss yet, and she was hoping a certain Beauxbaton would get around to it, but not that Beaubaton. So, the slytherin would attempt the second option. "Okay," she began to the boy, "Let me see what I can do."

"It was great dancing!" she would say to Paige while giggling. Before she would complete her dare, she would stop to watch Paige attempt her elbow licking, and literally almost die from laugher at Calypso's commentary. Now that had been a seriously fun dare, made even more entertaining by Paige's predicament, and she would tell Calypso so before she left. "Haha, that was perfect Calypso!" almost laughing so hard she could have collapsed right next to her.

Now it was time for her to complete her own dare. Perhaps she had prolonged it due to the nervousness she knew she would feel, but she was really going to try her best. Walking directly up to the girl, seeing as she didn't know her name, she would just begin to dance while standing directly in front of her. Since her parents were rather big into the 70's, Starlee would attempt to pull what little knowledge of the era that she had, and put on a disco show for the girl.

"Friday night and the lights are low..." she would begin, fairly quiet for what was meant to be attention grabbing. Her parents simply loved ABBA, and now seemed like the best time to put that knowledge to use. She would sing the first verse, moving onto the chorus, with a somewhat quiet vibe, not letting anyone interrupt her until she made it to her favorite part of the song. She would simply bob around lightly for this part, saving the best dance moves for the chorus.

"YOU CAN DANCE. YOU CAN JI-IVE. HAVING THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE. OOOOOOHHHHHH!" She would practically yell this in the girls face, so surely this should get her attention. That was the end goal here, so her usually good voice or atrocious dance skills wouldn't be important. She would do the disco point from side to side, do the disco eyes, and even break into the robot, taking some prior inspiration from Calypso.

"SEE THAT GIRL!" she would point right at Angél, "WATCH THAT SCENE!" she would pull her arms in, and down in a quick movement. "DIGGIN' THE DANCING QUEEN!" she would throw her arms outward and spin in a circle, then throwing herself down forward on her knees, her arms outstretched, breathing heavily from the singing and dancing combination, which she certainly wasn't used to. Surely this had to have been entertaining.

After she was done, she would get up, bow to Angél and anyone else who was watching, and make her way over to the goblet, throwing in her name again for another dare. That one had been fun, and thank goodness the boy had given her an option in what to do. She would return to the group, waiting for any response from Angél or Felix, but she was feeling rather confident in her performance, and was excited to see what would happen next.

Some stuff happened. It was either good or bad. Funny or not. Embarrassing or not. It might have made some people annoyed, others happy. Who knows? Well, the participants of the event know - far better than anyone else would. They were, after all, the ones who felt those emotions (or not).

This part of the grounds was just... chaotic, for the lack of a better word. There was dancing, singing, flips, spells - a whole lot of spells mostly aimed at the same person. There was a moment of panic for some, a moment of smugness for others.

They had pulled their truth or dares from the goblet, relishing in the joy of annoying and embarrassing each other - or just having some fun, really. As the day carried on, they likely realised that... they could just give each other their truth or dares, without waiting for the goblet. It was a perfect chance to ask someone if they were brave enough to answer a question truthfully in front of everyone or do something they were dared to do. Not everyone would want to step up to the challenge though - running away was definitely a viable option.

Would they continue to give each other dares until someone gave up or was it enough for the day? Either way, this might be a good time to get a little bit of revenge if someone bothered you throughout the day or made you do something embarrassing!
