Originally, Ami had hoped to become something majestic and grandiose. Perhaps a lion or a tiger, or a swooping bald eagle. Maybe something that was meme-able; perhaps a male duck hi, peri or a pelican.

Why that animal? Why do they want to become an Animagus?
From a young age, Ami had always liked animals. Before her wild dreams of being a concert pianist, she had wanted to be a vet, and always felt at peace when surrounded by animals. In her second year, Ami discovered her fervent love for Transfiguration, which inevitably led to the discovery of the Animagus process. She was further fueled by Scott's agreement to complete the process with her.

Ami's a bear because... well, it just makes sense. Physically, on the surface, she's a hilariously tall and strong figure, with a mane of messy hair. She is a fighter, loyal to a fault, and generally a gentle giant unless she gets riled up. Additionally, her encounter with a bear as a child played a major role.

What do you hope to gain from this group?
More IC interactions with other Aspirants, a bolster to Ami's ego.

What type of animal does your character hope to become?

Undecided for now! I'm still getting a grasp on who he is in this setting so it's hard to say what would fit for him. That said, I would imagine something known for its loyalty and being fiercely protective of its own. Those are characteristics that are just true for him no matter the setting.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?

He's an animal lover and would want to become an Animagus because of how cool he thinks it would be to be able to turn into an animal. I personally believe Transfiguration will be a favorite of his and it feels natural for him to want to become one once he realizes it as well.

What do you hope to get from this group?

Friends, adventure, and shenanigans with others who share a similar interest, and for some help as well. He needs all the help he can get to make getting used to the magical world a little bit easier.

What type of animal does your character hope to become?
Lizzy hopes to become a lynx.
Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?
Lizzy wants to become an Animagus because she has always loved animals. Her nana always called her her little cat which may be where she first began to love lynxes. The lynx fits her personality because it is independent, intelligent, and creative, some of the traits Lizzy values the most.
What do you hope to get from this group?
Pretty much everything on the introductory post as well as IC character development.

What type of animal does your character hope to become?

Elizabeth is still undecided on what she would specifically like to be able to turn into. Though, she has always had a deep connection with ravens; birds who often spent their mornings looking for worms in her parents' garden.

Why that animal?/Why do they want to become an Animagus?

Lizzy always felt connected to the clever ravens. She would sit out amidst the tomato plants with birdseed in both of her hands, waiting for the curious birds to come and eat from her palms. It was exhilarating to have the inquisitive little birds trust her like that (although one wrong move would send them all fluttering away.)

Although she would prefer something more exhilarating and impressive, it would be the perfect animal form. After all, people often describe her features as being bird-like. Sharp and pointed. The match is almost too perfect.

Even her curious personality and quick thinking match her perfectly with the blueish black avian. As does her ability to talk for ages, after all ravens are the chatterboxes of the bird world.

What do you hope to get from this group?

Lizzy is not sure what she wants to do with her life, but becoming an Animagus has fascinated her since she was a young child. Seeing a club centered around this piqued her interest entirely. The thought that that dream might actually be a reality. She needs help in achieving it- she doesn't even know where to begin. She also wants friends who have the same interest in this sort of thing and will no doubt want to participate in any club events she can.
