Hello,

Prefects are originally meant to be 5th years - in the story. However, we don't have any fifth years right now because the website was only created in February this year and everyone starts as a first year. So we've allowed Prefects in first years.

A Prefect is a member of staff that moderates the board. We're here to help answer questions, set up events, make sure people follow the rules etc. If there's any issues, we can help out. I think all of the current prefect positions are taken but essentially, if someone drops out because they can no longer dedicate the time to staffing the website then we open it up to other students to take on their position. It's both an in character role + out of character role.

If you're interested in becoming a member of staff, you should owl Ackerley Blackburn and let him know so he can keep you in mind, if a position opens up.

Hello! Sorry to be a bother if this has already been asked, but I was wondering if someone could explain the Stats system to me? It's primarily used for Quidditch and flying right? And other sports? Are they self assigned? What stats are required? And what's the highest score for each stat and max overall stat score? I don't want to be OP of course but it's useful to judge that a 6/10 is pretty decent, where a 6/100 is pretty bad

You have 30 points overall to allocate to each stat, depending on what you'd like to do.

None of the stats cannot be over 10, so you can't have 11 Strength for example. But you cannot have 0 Stamina either, that would mean you have no health! Currently, the Quidditch system is the only one solidly being used for stats right now.

But the Duelist and the Adventure system will also be rolling out, so you aren't just forced to be a Quidditch player. As you go on through your years, there is gonna be numerous ways to acquire more stat points, thus letting you allocate them to the way you want it.

Assign them yourself, keep in mind you have 30 points as a First Year right now, and don't do anything higher than 10 - plus have at least 1 point in Stamina. Place them in your character encyclopedia afterwards though! Also, we do penalize people for changing their stats once they enroll in the systems.

I notice yours are

STA: 3, AGL: 5, STR: 9, CTL: 4, AP: 3, ACC: 6

I get STA is stamina, AGL is Agility and STR is strength but what are the others?? I am a proper newb haha - thanks again!!

Hi Mardella,

I don't know if the information is anywhere else but it's definitely in this thread. Scroll down about half way. The second half is all about statistics. This explains it in terms of Quidditch but it's the same ones that you'll use for everything as Reid said.

I was wondering if we are allowed to create RPGs which take place in the future or in the past, ie. during the character's later Hogwarts years or their life before Hogwarts- and if so, how do we inform it on the topic (title)? Or should we just stick with the year and time being as it is now?

If the rest of our dorm is inactive would we be allowed to switch dorm rooms? My dorm mates vanished off the face of earth it seems.
