Trip to London: Museum
It was students such as this that made Maya loathe her job. She wanted to teach, don't get her wrong, but to those who want to learn. This was a student who wanted to party rather than take in the learning aspect of the trip. Her answer back was definitely that of a teenager. It was an answer that felt like nails on a chalkboard when listened to.
"You will go back to your group this instant," Maya said, sternly. She was not going to let one little girl ruin everyone's fun because she wanted to find a beverage and do her own thing. It always takes one to start chaos. "Now," she added, making sure the girl got out of the bathroom.
Maya made way outside of the bathroom to see that the groups were making headway on figuring out their clues. One clue was making their way towards the celebrities while the other group stayed in the science center. Maya, still keeping an eye on @Selene Ackermann, walked over to another Slytherin girl who was eyeing the Nelson Mandela wax figure.
"Good work. You found your wax figure. Your clue led you to Nelson Mandela, an amazing man who changed the world," Maya said, with a smile. She knew that it was a slightly difficult one for them to look for. However, it was a very notable man who made all the difference in South Africa. Maya went into her pocket and took out another small piece of paper. She handed it to @Opeila Seilun to share with her group. It read:
"Please keep in mind that we have approximately 30 more minutes to look around the museum. Keep coming back for more clues to different wax figures. So far, group one has moved on to their second clue," Maya called out to her students. She hoped the time frame would get them to be a bit more competitive to keep searching.SECOND PLAYER TO TAKE 500 WICKETS
A Gryffindor boy (@Eyre Reeves) approached Maya asking to be a part of a group. Maya nodded to him with a small smile. Although @Remi Yao showed promise in knowing what figurine the clue meant, it was best to add more to their group so they can move on to the next clue. They had to come back to Maya with the name of the figurine that matches their clue to obtain a new clue.
Realistically, There was a lot to learn here. A scavenger hunt could only be the beginning, but seeing how slow they were, it was perhaps the only thing they were only able to do. Most of the kids were on their best behavior, preventing any talk of magic and staying their course. There are just some that needed a bit more guidance, Maya thought while keeping her eye on the Slytherin girl.

Trying to sneak in with @Mars T'ien's Group
Willow was usually someone that was incredibly punctual. But... well... sometimes time got the best of her. This was the case for this museum trip. She had initially wanted to get there early to make sure that she was in a group with some of her friends, but sadly that was not the case. She was absolutely zooming to catch up to the groups that had wandered only slightly deeper into the museum. It wasn't hard to find them and not be a random child running in a museum. She was incredibly worried about getting in trouble however, for showing up so late, and was trying to bypass having to check in with an adult.
Her eyes quickly scanned through the already made groups and spotted a nice friend of hers, Mars. They had been someone she wanted to get to know for awhile and this seemed like the perfect opportunity since it didn't really seem like they were too into whatever was happening. She quickly sped over to their side and leaned over to them to speak quietly. "According to you, I've been here this whole time with you." She worriedly looked over her shoulders at the professors. Honestly, if she was called out she would give in immediately and confess. "Also, hi. I haven't seen you yet on the trip, how are you doing? Hopefully not getting shoulder checked anymore." She winked at them, a reference to how many times they got absolutely bodied at the egg race she hosted.

“Thanks Reid.” Lindsey grinned to the elder boy. Nah, he was nice, really.Interacting with @Reid Kovacs @May Moonstar @Opeila Seilun @Bridget Collins
Mentioning Professor Galim and Cricket Mercury
Open to interactions
She was pretty sure that the old Harriman was definitely not a scientist of biology though. He mixed things sometimes——like brewing potions, and most of the times caused things explode. She knew about physics and maths, but wasn’t really sure about the exact word for this kind of science——chemistine? Or ceminast?
She decided to leave the old Mr Harriman alone. Let him do his own things, and keep exploding. She would hang around and took a good look at those delicate wax figures instead.
Professor Galim announced a start of a hunt. Good, that would be interesting.
She was paired with Reid, May, Opeila, and a girl named Bridget Collins whom she didn’t know. Lindsey was pretty happy with the group, since she knew most of them. She gave Bridget a pleasant smile and a nod, and listened for the clue.
“Won the Nobel Peace Prize…” Lindsey muttered.
She wasn’t really a fan of history. When attending the muggle primary school, well, she preferred math and a little physics the teachers taught sometimes. Lindsey found herself in trouble remembering all the years and famous people, so she really didn’t have a clue for this.
“Professor Galim? Is there a Nobel Peace Prize section around here?” Reid inquired.
“Nobel Peace Prizes are awards that are given to those who change the world. Perhaps find an area that changes the world”
Change the world…Lindsey wondered carelessly. As far as she knew, a lot of people changed the world. But this one, must be a great one.
Bridget started searching in the room of Albert Einstein. Lindsey took a good look of this wax figure, and merrily, she found that this man’s a scientist. Nah, so what did he do?
She suddenly remembered that they were supposed to find the one on the clue. Maybe she’d visit here next time to learn more, but not at this time. She smiled apologetically.
“Hey Bridget... I think I found him.” Opeila suddenly said.
Lindsey walked nearer, and saw the figure of Nelson Mandela.
“Admirable man.” she muttered, while reading his introduction.
“Good work. You found your wax figure. Your clue led you to Nelson Mandela, an amazing man who changed the world.” Professor Galim announced. Lindsey smirked to Opeila. They’ve got it right!
She approached her for the next clue.
Wickets? So that’s…a player of cricket?SECOND PLAYER TO TAKE 500 WICKETS
Mentioning Cricket, Lindsey remembered Mercury. Miss Sport Star, nah. Cricket Mercury was probably the only negative acquaintance she had came across, and, Lindsey did some research of her name after.
She soon learnt that how could you play a cricket game. A wicket is a set of three upright sticks with two small sticks on top of them at which the ball is bowled, if she had not mistaken.
“Hey, I think we’ve got to look for a cricket player…” she said. “I think a search of the sports room would be a good start.”

If I missed anyone I'm sorry!
Selene struck Callie as an odd sort of girl of very few words or at least few in comparison to her. She spoke so eloquently and with such poise that Callie couldn't help but find the girl rather intimidating. Regardless when Selene asked if she was connected to 'Madame Jensen' she couldn't help but let out a small giggle. Hearing people refer to her cousin so formally never failed to ignite laughter in the young Ravenclaw as she'd always known her rather simply as Nora. "Sorry! Sorry, it's still weird hearing people call her that." Callie explained with a pleasant grin after she got over her giggling. "I am related to Nora! She's my cousin!" Selene's strange demeanour and rather odd smirk unsettled Callie but she persevered nonetheless, never allowing her own expressions to betray her discomfort surrounding Selene. When Selene excused herself t go to the toilet Callie let out a small breath that she hadn't realised she'd been holding.
Watching Remi act as the makeshift leader of the group slightly irked Callie, primarily because of his Napoleon-esque style of leadership. Regardless Callie went along with the boys rather odd style of leadership as she simply adored Wolverine and wasn't going to pass up an invitation to look at that wax figure again..it was just so cool! Even if the way Selene spoke to Rose seemed rather...strange and momentarily distracted Callie from her mission.
Regardless Callie quickly followed behind Remi as they left the science wing and happily walked alongside the Gryffindor...until he said chop-chop. "Chop-chop?" Callie questioned with a mild laugh. "I'm not a pork chop, silly!" She exclaimed as she looked all around the area for any signs of the coolest superhero known to mankind. "You don't watch muggle movies?" Callie seemed rather shocked by such a statement, especially considering she was by all accounts a movie buff. Years of watching movies alongside her father after a days work on the farm had instilled a deep appreciation for the art from in Callie, so hearing someone had next to no experience with them was strange to say the least. "Never ever? That's so weird!" She let out a small laugh which turned into a small gasp when Remi mentioned he didn't even know what Logan looked like. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HUGH JACKMAN LOOKS LIKE?" She took a small breath to regain her composure before continuing. "You my friend, have so much catching up to do." She reassured Remi with a pat to the shoulder as she looked all around the room with a distinct look of excitement. While she looked around the room Callie happily pointed out all the wax figures with the same level of excitement only a movie lover could summon. If she ever came across Hugh Jackman it was extremely likely her own excitement would explode, judging by her dismay at Remi's lack of knowledge about the glory of Hugh Jackman. Sure enough when she did eventually find the figure of Hugh Jackman Callie let out a squeal of delight. "He looks so COOL, don't ya think? Remi...you have so many movies you gotta catch up on!"
If I've messed up something in here, please let me know..I've not been able to properly touch anything for a few weeks because of work!![]()

Mars' mood immediately lifted at the sight of their friend. Plucking the earbud out of their ear, they laughed at her comment, slinging an arm around her shoulder. Distance, distance, they'd meant to keep a distance from someone like her, but they just couldn't help it. There was just something too charming about her smile.
They scoffed at the egg race comment, pushing the other hand into their pocket. Ah, it was so nice to be able to dress however they wanted. Leather jackets had almost become a second-skin by now, and they felt naked without one.
"Hey, at least I didn't drop my egg," they returned. Swiveling to face her, they let out a wry grin, "And you can't even say anything, you didn't participate."
Was it true that she had been the organizer and probably didn't have time to play as well? Yes, very much so. Did Mars care? Nope, not at all.
Laughing, they continued down the halls. Honestly, they'd forgotten what they were supposed to be doing and who they were meant to meet up with, but this seemed infinitely better.
"Let's walk over there so we look like we're doing something, hmm?" they asked. Sliding the arm off of Willow's shoulder, they stuffed both hands into their pockets and turned, calling back, "Come on, slowpoke!"
It was so natural with Willow, the flow of conversation, the lengths of their teasing. Yeah, it was definitely like their brothers. Their brothers... Mars' face faltered slightly. Turning back to the hall, they sighed. They'd thought they'd be over this by now, but the memory of the letter, those words still stuck something sharp in their chest.
Muttering under their breath, they whispered, "Whatever. I'll only be alone for the summer."
[ Home, they said. I should like to go home. ]

A bright grin took over Willow's face as Mars was happily going along with her plan of blending in. She wrapped her arm around their waist in a sort of side hug moment. She had missed them. They didn't get to talk that much, but whenever they did it seemed to brighten up her day. They were one of those friends where she really feel like she should reach out, or seek them out more but then didn't. A poor excuse for a friend really. When they swiveled to call her out on the egg race, she raised the hand that wasn't wrapped around them in a passive motion. "Hey! Someone had to watch the carnage happen. And I've participated in plenty of egg races in my day, thank you very much. I'm practically an expert." She stuck her tongue out at them for good measure of tease.
As they walked through the halls of the museum her eyes lazily took in the information around her, watching the exhibits go by. She missed field trips like this, and museums. There should really be more field trips at Hogwarts. Was that actually a muggle thing? Of all the muggle things to be ignored. This shouldn't have been one of them. She was so distracted that she didn't even feel their arm leave her shoulder, her arm falling back to her side. She only looked back up when she heard them calling her a slowpoke. "Hey! No fair, I was distracted." She quickly hurried back to their side, hearing the end of something they were saying, but not exactly able to catch what it was. "What was that?" She nudged their shoulder playfully. "Mumbling gets you nowhere in a conversation you know."

Mars' side was still oddly warm from Willow's side hug as they laughed at her comments. They'd forgotten what it was like to be around someone who'd grown up muggle. It was refreshing really, putting down the responsibility of magic for just a moment. They wondered absentmindedly if they and Willow would've been friends had they met in a muggle school.
Teasing came so natural to them, grinning as the Hufflepuff caught up to their side. Mars walked a few more steps, looking from wax figure to wax figure in an effort to look productive. They were pretty sure the professors weren't watching, but it was better safe than sorry.
At Willow's question, they blew a breath out of their nose, half-laughing and half-tired. It was a tiring notion, wasn't it, being alone all summer? They were tired of worrying over it, tired of contemplating all the opportunities they'd lost, tired of feeling sorry for themselves. Their mood soured and they turned to face Willow, about to give her the tiniest bit of snark... ah. Funny how looking at her face put them at ease. There'd always been something infectious about her positivity, and it seeped warmth into their bones.
Taking another breath, Mars sigh, laughing a little.
"It's nothing really," they told her, "Just that I can't go home this summer and see my brothers and I'm not really looking forward to being alone. The prospect is just kinda... depressing, y'know?"
They spun around, hands coming out of their pockets in a shrug. "It'll be fine though. I'll figure it out."
They would. It wasn't the end of the world, not going home. The disappointment would fade after a while and next school year would come and then they could see their friends once more. They could see Willow. That was enough to put a little flame in their chest, flickering with hope.

@Mars T'ien
Willow's brows furrowed together at the news of how Mars would be spending their summer, it was obviously something that distressed them a bit, but also something they tried to wave off. "Hey, we could always write owls so you feel less lonely. Not only would you have a beautiful owl to keep you company every now and again, and some words from me." She felt a bit weird just offering up an owl and a letter as infrequent company, but it's what she had to offer for the time being. It was obviously something they didn't want to talk about, so she chose to help them move on from the sad feelings.
When Willow caught back up with Mars, she linked her arm in theirs, if they had a habit of running away she wouldn't let them do it again. Especially in a big museum where she could easily get lost. She was one that would get lost in places like the grocery store she had been to hundreds of times with her family. It was just so easy to get distracted by shiny things, cute things, soft things, cool things. Truly Willow could be distracted by any number of things. Her linking of arms was more so for her than for Mars. She tugged them over to look at one of the wax statues when a peculiar thought had popped into her head. "Do you think the wax ever wanted to grow up to be someone different? Or after being someone for so long do you think they want a change?" Because wax figures obviously had feelings. She looked up to Mars with genuinely concerned eyes, this was something that would weigh heavy on her mind dependent on Mars' answer.
