Being first introduced to them during her seventh birthday, when her older brothers had created a scavenger hunt, she'd adored them since then. When receiving word of the club, she figured she'd try it out and see what it's all about.
(IC) Skills: [20+ words] Everly is a rational, logical person. She doesn't like it when there's not an explanation. She's a strategic person, and tries to keep a level head. Everly is a determined, hard worker, and is a very loyal person.

Callista has always enjoyed puzzles, and the Hunt had helped her realize that scavenger hunts were quite enjoyable... even if they were sometimes dangerous. She enjoyed solving puzzles and training her brain. Growing up, she hadn't had many friends to play scavenger hunts with, but on the rare occasion her family got together, it was always fun.

Callista has always been quiet. As a result, she grew to be very observant, and her quick mind enabled her to remember these little details. Although her tendency to be self critical is a burden, it almost always insists the best work possible from her. Perfectionism is rough, but at least it guaranteed that Callista wouldn't stop until she had done the best she could.

(IC)Reason of Interest: [30+ words] Elena has always fiercly entertained the idea of something like a scavenger hunt. Whether it be disocvering new places, finding items or solving any sort of riddles, the idea of exploring and having that fleeting moment of acclompishment and thrill is something she has always enjoyed as well as getting the chance to immerse herself in unique situations.
(IC) Skills: [20+ words] For one, Elena is regarded as a very observant person. She tends to analyze her surroundings rather intensely as sometimes the answer can be right there in plain view. Additionally, she also does well working with others especially when it is something the girl enjoys and coupled with her deep obersvational skills to turn everything inside out to get an answer, the Gryffindor won't stop at anything until she finds the thing she is looking for. The lingering suspense is almost an unfathomable feeling to her that the girl has to quell by finding out the source of it.

Febuary Hunt!
Our lovely Co-Mod @Bridget Collins is going to be hosting a Feburary Hunt in the upcoming week. If you would be interested in RSVP-ing for this hunt, please send Bridget Collins an owl titled 'RSVP for Feburary Hunt' and she will mention you when she gets the modpost up!

DISCORD AND NEWSLETTER!
As you all hopefully know, I have a discord server! If you would like to join that please send me an owl with the heading 'Discord Invite for SHC' or contact me on discord at koalalover#3558.
Since I do give more information and updates via discord that those who don't have discord may not see, I have decided to bring back to life the 'newsletter'. More updates on that will be announced shortly.

NEED HELPERS!
The Scavenger Hunt Club wants YOU! We are, of course, always open for new members. However, we are reopening applications for certain staff positions. Being a part of staff is no longer just responsibilities: upon the completion of a project, you could receive chocolate frogs, items from the Kat Shop, or even access to a Staff Hunt for Beta Testing different Moderation ideas.

Reducio

Co-Moderator: Co-Moderators have the ability to moderate entire hunts and help out with ideas and planning for more events. You will also have the ability to work side by side with Yours Truly. Like I said above, working as a part of the staff can get you access to all sorts of treats, provides moderation experience if you're interested in that sort of thing, and is an overall fun job. We are looking for 1 co-mod.

Newsletter Team: We currently have a mostly inactive Newsletter. If you are interested in having this role, you would post a biweekly newsletter entailing the going-ons of the club. This is a more easygoing role, but there are plenty opportunities for coding practice, art practice or just all around 'newsletter' practice. Like I said above, working as a part of the staff can get you access to all sorts of treats as well. Looking for 2-3 to help out with the Newsletter.

Editor: This is a more laid back role for the club. There are a few things around the club that need to be done, and you would be a bit help with that. Your main job would be reviewing posts in the main club thread and assorted modposts to check for errors with grammer, communication, or rolling. You may also get opportunities to help write up things such as announcements or rule addendums to help take some of the load off of other staff members. Looking for one Editor.

All roles do require access to the Club discord. If you have interest in one of these positions and don't have access to discord, please owl me and we may be able to arrange something.

If you are interested for applying for any of these roles, please send me (Katrina Walker) an owl with at least 100 words OOC why you are interested in the role and what skills or experience you have to offer. For the Co-Mod role you would also need to add at least 100 words IC. More is often better. Title the owl 'Staff Application-' and then what role you are interested. I look forward to seeing many applications.

If you are considering applying, I urge you to at least apply. I am flexible for most roles and am willing to split larger roles between a few people to lighten the load! You will also get small compensation for simply applying!

When she heard about the scavenger hunt club, she thought it would be a great way to get to know the castle and make some new friends. She hopes to even learn new things about the wizarding world through scavenger hunts--she's muggle-born so she wants a lot of exposure to this new world.
(IC) Skills: [20+ words]Della is quick-witted and booksmart. She can also work well on a team because she often doesn't push her ideas too hard over other's; she's a great listener.
