During Charms class for the second lesson he learned about Wingardium Leviosa. As he got to the class and sat down he was nervous about the lesson. Feeling relieved for reading about the chapter ahead of time he heard the Professor arrive. Cameron watched as the Professor began with the lesson as he took notes on his notepad. Glancing up here and there to catch more notes as the Professor went over the history. He didn't find any other information worth writing down so he set down his quill. Hearing the students whisper behind him about the spell meaning and some making fun of the Latin origin. Learning about the meaning behind words always interested Cameron. He learned about the Greek origins and now learning about Latin it is broadening his expertise. As the lesson came to a close he began to practice on the spell on his own. He casted the spell once and then failed sighing heavily he tried once again. This time he didn't use the wand movement as correctly as he attempted a third try. He succeeded in casting the spell and watched as his feather began to fly a bit higher over his head.

She smiled at the girl who was talking to her. "Hi I'm Eri windstone. Well I have practiced a bit." She looked down at her notes that sat before her. She would love to be friends with the girl but she didn't want to come off as a pushy person. So she sat and read over her notes. "With some practice you will be able to the spell correctly." Smiling she reread her notes again. hopefully she didn't seem like she was ignoring her. She picked up her quill and jotted some more notes down onto the piece of parchment.

Silently she observed the classmates in the classroom. Some could do the spells first try some could not. She wasn't judging she was just seeing who practiced at home and who did not. Which wasn't bad she didn't have anything against muggle borns. She smiled at the girl next to her. She glanced up at the girl and wiped a stray strand of hair from her face. The girl seemed nice and friendly. So she would try to become friends with this girl. She smiled at the girl and smiled. She would make a great friend. So she smiled and continued making notes.

Amadea looked at Eri's notes, hoping she didn't seem intrusive. "Win..wingar...dium Leviosa," she said hesitantly, looking at Eri for approval. "That's Latin, right?" Immediately, Amadea shut her mouth, fighting the urge to slap her hand over it. She definitely didn't want to seem like a know-it-all, but then she remembered how little she knew about the study of witchcraft and felt less ashamed. Internally, she wished over and over again that her parents had taught her more about these magical things before sending her off to school. There was nothing she could do about it now, though, so she had to simply make the best of it.

She took her wand in her hand again and repeated the words. "Wingardium Leviosa," she said as she flicked her wand. Again, the feather stayed on the table. The down rustled softly, almost as if taunting her for her failed attempt. She glanced over at the other girl who was looking around at the other students, hoping that she hadn't caught Amadea's mistake. Pushing back another curl that had fallen into her face, Amadea tried again. Third time's the charm right? she thought to herself. "Wingardium Leviosa," she said again, this time in a more demanding tone. The feather hesitated, but then slowly pushed itself off of the table and hovered in the air. In her excitement, Amadea dropped her wand and the feather immediately plopped back onto the table. She scrambled and picked up her wand again, but was too excited to feel any shame at her mistake. She turned to Eri. "Thanks for the help! Maybe you're my good luck charm." She laughed, hoping her words weren't too corny.
