Hey, what about us Gryffindors? We’re the ones who jump headfirst into a fight and protect our friends without thinking most of the time. I mean, to name a few Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, the whole Weasley family, etc. . .

sure, gurl, but in this case, the puffs clearly win, u just think we are loyal and kind and thoughtful and what not, but look at me? i am chaotic to say the least
@Cecilia Merrick YOU TRIED TO POISON ME??!! HOW CAN YOU, CECI, HOW CAN YOU?? /j
@Silas Norwood EXCUSE ME SILAS, DONT YOU DARE
Us snakes are statistically more likely to become successful because we're ambitious, driven, we portray leadership qualities and we actively seek power/recognision MEANWHILE you lil puffies value kindness and loyality and you "go with the flow".
Also we're more strategic and cunning, famous for thinking ahead compared to Hufflepuff tend to be more straightforward, which makes yall predictable.
Honestly, strategy beats honesty any day.
If we dig a lil deeper, we can notice a clear pattern in the Wizarding History notably the fact that some of the most influential figures of the Wizarding World are Slytherin. I'm sure I don't need to name them but I will anyway: Salazar Slytherin is too easy because you can just say "WeLl sO iS HeLeNa HuFfLePuFf". So: Tom Riddle, Merlin, the Malfoy, some members of the Black, Slughorn, Snape and there's so much more.
I have a lot of other points but I'll let you go ahead xx
u name one puff here who is actually kind and NOT mischievous and NOT sarcastic.
also since when are we predictable, and i dont think so we are straightforward.
also u are talking about strategy, cedric diggory.... THE GREATEST EXAMPLE OF STRATEGY.
also just figured out that giselle lam was in hufflepuff and her new acc, lauren vanes is in slytherin... THAT JUST MEANS WE GOT A SPY AS WELL
If you really believe he's strategic that just proves my point of the puffies being generally naive caus one person being, let's say strategic for the sake of this, doesn't make everyone from Hufflepuff strategic.
Also you saying Hufflepuffs aren't kind but "mischievous and sarcastic" literally weakens your own argument… because now you're not even embodying your house traits, so where do you actually stand for? Idk if you badly worded that but anyways
And about, I statem "in this verse", they apply in the real world as well. Ambition, strategy, leadership etc...
Yes you might have a few clever individual that don't fit the traditional Hufflepuff pattern but as a house we're still the ones running the show
Oh shush Tes, when was the last time that Slytherin was actually represented in Hogwarts?? Not in the quidditch team, not in the house cups, not in the triwizard competition, not in the battle of Hogwarts....
Also, you aren't running the show, we are let's be honest here
@Sage Willows SINCE WHEN
Take the Triwizard Tournament for example, you bring up Cedric Diggory, but the entire thing was literally |"orchestrated" by Tom Riddle behind the scenes. That's peak Slytherin performance and the literal perfect example. See there? (Caus now I feel like I'm also teaching you how to write argumentative points) I took a random event, like you did but went into depth and said how it was relevant and you can't say anything to that caus it's true.
And the Battle of Hogwarts? Leaving doesn't equal weakness, it's called self-preservation lol. Slytherins don't throw themselves into battles they don't benefit from, unlike Hufflepuffs who act on emotion and loyalty, we're just ahead of the game. For example, when the Malfoys left. That's just protecting your own
Also Quidditch and house cups? That's performance and it doesn't prove anything because it's just a bunch of teenagers barely hitting puberty playing school competitions.
And historically? That's always been Slytherin like i dont think I even need to comment on that
I was gonna say something else but I forgot
Oh yeah running the show is about the behind the scene, snakes do that best by controlling the whole game without people really paying attention
Ugh this strengthened my appreciation for Slytherin

uhhhhh just off the top of my head I think they were set on fire when camping(?) in like 2018(? 2019?) and a few years later their common room got set on fire during an event and there were other times too but it used to be such a big thing that on the discord there’s an emoji of Hufflepuff in flames and people made memes of it and stuffLily Clarke wrote: 14 Jun 2026, 20:45Yeah...
