I couldn't find this question anywhere in the FAQ section, maybe I am mistaken.. are we allowed to Bunny a character that is crucial to our characters backstory? For example, Lucian was sorted into Gryffindor rather than Slytherin as she had hoped, and needs to break the news to her brother, Oberron, who has currently been residing in the Hospital Wing. If I created a private topic and wrote for both Lucian, and her brother, would that be allowed? Since he is a character I have created as well, to add depth to Lucian's past?

If Oberron is your character, that would basically be NPC use. If it is another player character's character, then that player would need to post. Unfortunately it is dangerous territory to allow other players to control another user's pc even with permission because if minds change or someone takes too many liberties it would result in drama.

Oberron is my character, just one I have created to add depth to Lucian's backstory. That would be allowed, then?

Hello, I'm new here and I have a question. I was sorted only a few days ago, so technically I was sorted "outside" the year (September 1st thru end of term). So, if I want to RP my reaction to the Sorting Ceremony, do I have to wait for the official 2019-2020 Sorting Ceremony thread by the Headmaster?

Depends. Since a lot of us do not join the site on Sept. 1, a lot of us go back in time. If you plan on graduating to y2 on July 1, then by all means post in this present thread. Just make sure your encyclopedia is completed before July 1 so you can move on up. If you plan on remaining in y1 after July 1, then wait another 2 weeks and a new sorting ceremony thread will be up for players that are joining Hogwarts next year.

1. Click on your portrait in the upper right hand corner. A drop down menu will pop up.
2. Click on profile. This will bring you to a fresh screen that has the following tabs: Profile|Avatar|Signature|Account|Notifications|Preferences. 
3. Click on Account. This will bring you to the password change screen.
