Good morning guys

I am tiredi am literally starting to do week 2 for the science class ;-; and right now I need to read the standards... I hate this :sob: I know WHY we have the standards, even if I feel some of it is limited or whatever but still :sob:

Also I've been looking at Remy's avatar and it reminds me of something. Back when I was in high school, a long long long time ago (3 years ago was when I graduated), short shorts were all the craze when I was in school with the boys. Are they STILL a popular thing or did you guys finally find a new trend to obsess over :sob:

Hey! Current high schooler here-short shorts are still a thing where I live for some girls, guys usually do basketball shorts or sweatpants for the most part, from what I can tell!

That sounds about right. I'm going into high school, but the girls at my school typically wear leggings or jeans because there's one specific teacher who dress coded people like she was on a shopping spree when I was in seventh grade.

Basketball shorts themselves and sweatpants aren't so bad, when I was in school we had a mix of short shorts, sweatpants and hoodies (like 90% hoodies ;-;)

I mean they're comfortable, I was mostly curious if styles cahnged over a few years. Granted, when covid hit, the dress code wasn't enforced and everyone wore things that violated the dress codes. Until my graduating class graduated, they didn't enforce the dress code.

There's a uhh rule about shorts needing to be past your fingers when you put your hands down by your side, and none of these boys would've passed that, but I was curious in general, if people were truly more stricter or if with the uhh trend industry it swayed

Oh no, none of the girls(including me tbh I have long fingers) would pass that at all! Male teachers aren’t allowed to dress code girls at my school(or they’re just too scared to get blamed for looking), so girls wear the most revealing things…

And the Female teachers don't do anything about it?
Honestly, same. I don't know if male teaches are allowed to dress code girls at my school, but I do know that the girls don't really get dress coded.

male teachers were allowed to, but to avoid complaints from teachers and potential lawsuits and all, most of them didn't say anything with the exception of the SRO officers but they just told you, they didn't like enforce it perse
