Could you sort topics by section (Owlery, Great Hall, etc.)? Sometimes i want to find posts and for people who have a lot of topics that they've posted in, that can be a hassle. You could sort them by area (Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, etc) to make it less crowded. :cute:
I know you can sort them by RPG and stuff but once again, some people have loads of those and it can be hard to find posts.

Not sure I entirely understand what you mean. Nonetheless, I'll offer a few suggestions in case I do.

If you are looking for a post in, for example, the Great Hall, you can click that forum and scroll through all the various threads that have taken place there. If you are looking a specific person's post, you can navigate to their account and look through their posts. Generally an easier way to do this is to click on the topics rather than the posts, as that's a shorter list that will be more concise and easier to sort through.

That's the issue- some people have so many threads and i don't want to scroll through millions of RPG topics to find one from a specific area in Hogwarts or Diagon Alley or something. There are so many areas and it gets confusing especially when my eyes skip over the topic because the text is too small.
Speaking of that, I also have another suggestion- options to make the text bigger so it's easier to read. Some people might have vision impairments (such as me lol) so we might need bigger text.

Simon, can you be more specific about where you're suggesting these filters? It sounds like what you are doing is going to a specific person's profile, then looking through their RPG topics, and then looking for ones from a certain area? So you want a filter that says every location name on the page that looks like this: search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=topics&aut ... =1&icon=31 (example Aaron Jones --> topics --> filter by RPG) ?

There is an easier way to look for a specific forum's posts using the site search function here: search.php So to do the same thing would be to type in the name of the user you're looking for in the Author box, and then select the exact forum you're looking for their posts in. That will bring up all their posts in that forum and make it easier to locate their topics.

As for the font size - you can use the zoom option on internet browsers to increase font size of all pages on the site. Usually found under the browser settings, you can adjust the zoom percentage. There are also browser extensions that can achieve the same goal.

There are other priorities on Zach's list of things to code into the site, so using the existing search functionalities and the browser zoom/extensions are your best bet at the moment. If you want to keep your suggestions noted though, I would suggest posting them in the technical suggestions thread here: viewtopic.php?t=15378

Hey there just a suggestion but would it be possible if a parselmouth saying a healing spell in parsel tongue would enhance it's effects. Because snakes are know for healing.

Parselmouth Stamina:10 Wisdom:3 Strength:1 Evasion:1 Accuracy:10 Arcane Power:10

I am unfamiliar with this skillset in actual canon. I see with google some fanfics and fan sites (non-reputable) that mention parsels as healers but I don't see any canon references. Can you link some sort of canon reference for this one?

Well, treating parsel tongue like any other language, I don't think so. There's a reason why spells are taught mostly in latin and not translated into english.

True- but the way I'm reading this, is that if Parselmouths get to speak spells in their language, all races should be able to say the spells in their own languages instead of English, but I rather like it in English since I can understand it.
