If it matters, it's the fact that no one communicated what we were having for dinner and I was surprised with someone coming over that I didn't like on a day that I didn't know he was coming over for. Hence why I was not happy about painting the house earlier- same guy.
But I threw some food in the oven because there was nothing out and again, no one communicated, just so we could have dinner that wasn't like hours too late.
Mom overreacted, got mad at me, told me I was wasting money and that she wanted fish sticks and mac and cheese for dinner. Sister fussed at me for the clothes in the dryer, and this just continued for a bit with some things that shouldn't have been said, not from me, but from them and I just took the food in the oven out and threw it in the fridge. Might as well have it tommorow I guess. Went down to my room.
Kinda felt a variety of emotions I guess. Part of me wanted to cry. The other part of me wanted to dull myself and be some hollow shell and not think about anything.

it’s not stupid at all that you feel upset by it, I feel like that’s a very normal reaction to that situation.

First thing, that's not stupid. Family needs to have good communication and its ridiculous when people invite others over w/out asking or giving a heads-up. Especially if you don't like the guy. And what's wrong with having clothes in the dryer? In mine there's towels in there since last week. I'm sorry about whatever she said, some people just don't care about what they say to others and that's terrible. I hope everything gets better
