But sir I'm not mocking nor offending anyone. Respectfully not everything mentioned w religion or anything is already deemed "wrong or offensive." It's not that I'm not "knowledgable" in this area. I'm not insensitive.
Sorry if I made anyone uncomfortable but if this about being "offensive" then I was offended about being ignored. But why is that not acknowledged?

I understand that you were not intending to offend anyone, and I am acknowledging that. Intent does matter. At the same time, impact also matters, especially in a large public community with many different types of users and comfort levels.

The concern is not that every mention of religion, sexuality, or minority groups is inherently offensive. The concern is when those topics become the basis of jokes in public chat spaces, because those conversations can very quickly make others uncomfortable or create an environment where people feel singled out or unwelcome, even if that was not your intention.

As for feeling ignored: people are allowed to disengage from conversations they are uncomfortable with or simply do not wish to participate in. That is not considered harassment or misconduct. Nobody is obligated to continue a conversation, answer a joke, or engage socially if they do not want to.

I appreciate that you apologized for making others uncomfortable, and I am not trying to paint you as malicious or insensitive, but what you did resulted in a report, multiple other conversations and people actively choosing to divert the conversation after they (2) spoke up and said they were not comfortable and that was ignored by you. This is simply a reminder to be mindful of the setting and the audience moving forward.

Is this the subject of being "offensive" to anyone? Again, I apologize. But is this subject of having a majority on what agrees with what?
If this offending the certain kinds of people, as they say, but I'm not a certain kind of group, I'm just one.
But it seemingly like im not included in that "offended" majority. Sure I didn't target that joke to anyone, and cool, they said I shouldn't do that because it was offending. That's fine. But I was offended? What happened to being 'offensive'? Am I just not on the list due to majority?

Look I get what Lear is saying. You offended people and they had rights to move on and ignore what you were trying to continue. Which offened you. But what i noticed is that you keep pointing that last part out and saying that you got offened and hes not doing anything about it. And I get getting ignored is sometimes offensive but what did you want them to say after they told you they were offened? Shut up chatt?? Which i assmued wouldve been more offensive. So at this point you probably should just drop it and move on.

Also hes not saying youre not included in that offended majority. Its more about that they got offened over something more serious then being ignored. So like i said before just drop it and move on with your life
