FAQ — Questions
You can ask if another person who plays a werewolf is willing to have their character turn yours, otherwise this wouldn't be possible.Minnie Duke wrote: 27 Aug 2024, 12:57 For the new inpc announcements, can I have my current character become a werewolf by bite?
FAQ — Questions
Because this is a question we have gotten a few times, I am going to also make a statement here.
Yes, it is technically possible to have another PLAYER turn you into a ww. HOWEVER, you are casually asking that player to take on a major risk for your benefit and hopefully not whim. If they are caught/discovered, they would not be welcome in their school any longer and risk imprisonment depending on the scenario. This means if you say something to an authority, if you tell a friend and they share it with an authority, if you get into an argument and end up being a real low life and decide to get back at them by ruining their character (I cant stop you but boy I would make sure that every future RP player knows what sort of person you are) by telling on them, you have essentially ruined another person's experience. The asker has everything the gain and the giver everything to lose.
I wont tell people what to do or force something, but I do implore players to take caution with their decisions.
There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

I assume this also means a dNPC who is a werewolf (whether it's a family member or any other logical scenario) cannot turn an iNPC into one - Do I have that right?Opeila Winters wrote: 27 Aug 2024, 13:11You can ask if another person who plays a werewolf is willing to have their character turn yours, otherwise this wouldn't be possible.Minnie Duke wrote: 27 Aug 2024, 12:57 For the new inpc announcements, can I have my current character become a werewolf by bite?

@Emily Shephard
If you are creating a brand new iNPC - yes, you can have a dNPC turn your character, just like how a PC being created the first time can use dNPC wolves to turn them.
However, if you are trying to turn your existing iNPC into a werewolf, then no - you cannot use a dNPC, it must be a PC. (This applies to PCs as well - unless you are a werewolf on first creation, your only chance at becoming a werewolf after is by another PC.)

FAQ — Questions
Can my character move up a year early? Like once I finish all the homework for the first year or something can Aria go up a year early? She is very smart and studious so I think it’s a good thing for her character.
I am a hard worker. I am a good friend. I do my best. I am enough.

FAQ — Questions
I have a question about the new iNPC update. If I decided I want to change my iNPC to be a parselmouth, would I need to explain why he was let into Beauxbatons in the first place? Were parselmouths not previously allowed IC? I’m sorry if this was already explained in the info post, I can’t find it right now for some reason.

Will we be getting one this year as well?

No, we don't have a program for characters to skip ahead in school years.Aria Wright wrote: 31 Aug 2024, 00:51 Can my character move up a year early? We have a summer advancement program for users whose characters were held back to catch up to their peers, but it won't let users advance past their intended class year, so it wouldn't apply. Details on that program can be found here though: viewtopic.php?t=27806
