Just popping in here because there are some heavy context clues people are missing here.

1. Nobody is thinking you are emotionally manipulating us. The multiple apologies on her part does indicate that she is taking that potential teasing / potential interrogating seriously.
2. If someone claims abuse or being harmed, you report it to the police or to someone that can serve as an advocate (teacher, councilor, principal, etc,). There is no "keeping t a secret" if there is a dangerous scenario. If it is a lie, keep paper trails and logs (that you should share with the authority you are reporting to) so that it is the liar's problem, not yours. Sadly, people do lie and sensationalize scenarios. it is not your job to parse the truth, only to after hold them accountable.
3. I only threaten murder or let my character's die. I have not killed another person's character in well over a decade and I also log consent if the scenario is violent and offer edits if the theme or content makes a user uncomfortable as a personal policy. You would be astonished at how often someone comes by later and claims the contrary, so documentation has been my friend a long time.
