Reason for Reapplication: Changes to backstory and change of surname and place of residence.
Change of name to: Beatrice Forsyth
Change of residence to: Portree, Scotland

Backstory: After finally acquiring the family farm back from Beatrice's Aunt Maude, her parents have decided that their differences were too much. Beatrice's father, Angus, had realised he liked living in the muggle world without magic. Penolope, a witch, couldn't bear the thought of not having or being arpund magic. The 18 months of living with her in-laws was chaotic at best. Since Beatrice and her younger sister Ella had shown talents of magic, she decided it would be better for the family to seperate. Once control of the family farm was back in her hands, thanks to the Leveret family, Penelope fixed the place up and sold it. She changed her surname to the maiden name of her mother, not wanting to be associated with either her now ex-husband or prejudiced pureblood paternal family. Her mother at least had changed her views on her childrens mixed blood, and that would be fibe for her. Perhaps she would be able to find help from her maternal side of the family. Penelope moved herself and her girls far across the country, back to where her mother had grown up, in Portree.

Reason for Reapplication: Sage's maternal grandmother's passing
On May 1st, 2025, Sage received word from her step-mum that her maternal grandmother, Iris Lyser, had died early that morning. The cause of death was a result of the natural cause of old age.
Copy of the letter Sage got to inform her:
Reducio
Sage,

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you this news. Your maternal grandfather, Thomas, got in contact with me very early this morning, May 1st, to let me know what had happened. Your grandmother Iris has died. I was relieved to know that she had not suffered, she died of natural causes. Thomas wants to host the funeral as soon as possible, I’m sorry you won’t be able to attend since you’ll be at school. I don’t know very much at the moment, but I will let you know the second I learn something.
I’m so sorry for your loss, dear.
Lots of love,

A user's nationality is based on where they were born. Your bio states that you were born in Scotland, meaning that you are Scottish and you presently live in England. Your mother's Korean heritage would not make your nationality Korean, it makes you genetically part-Korean.

As for your face claim, I am pretty sure that you did not have a Korean-based face claim when you first joined the site because I recall your account in validations. I am taking a screen cap of this one now, because if you are choosing to be genetically Korean, you are going to need to pick face claims that maintain some consistency even if they are not of the same model or actress. As I am uncertain what your original FC was, I will not make you change it.

As for the surname change. We can approve that, but to clarify, this means that your parents are divorced and you took on whose surname post divorce (for the sake of clarity)?

Simon has always resided in the custody and with his aunt in London so this doesn't change any of that. My apologies if this was a waste of your time but wanted to be more safe than sorry!

Reason for Reapplication: I made this account two years ago and f0rgot about it, I would like to reactivate it. I would like to graduate from first year (after I get all my homework done) after that I have a reason why Wren had to leave Hogwarts for two years. I made a new trunk post that is updated only with her stats from first year. I also have made some minor edits to my account, I removed Wren's cat and her halfblood friends from her backstory as well as giving her a middle name and making a family tree for her.

Reason for Wren's absence:
Reducio
After Wren's first year of schooling she returned home for the summer extactic to tell her parents about her friends and adventures at Hogwarts. However her parents met her with grim news. Her Grandmother was dying, and Wren knew what that meant. The whole family must return to the ancestral home when the death of a Patriarch of Matriarch is iminent, it's just what you do. Although children are usually exempt from this, with her remaining time Wren's Grandmother asked that Wren stay with her to learn the responsibilities of Matriarch. Wren had no choice in the matter, her grandmother was dying after all and it would be selfish to deny her this. So for two years Wren catered to her Grandmother's every whim and took care of her in her sickness. Now her grandmother is dead and Wren's schooling is allowed to continue, but she's different now from who she was then. She just hope the hogwarts halls can still enchant her like they did when she was eleven.

Pending Lear - May 18

I gave you back a copy of the code you had for a new trunk. FYI, it was missing one of your abilities anyways (Cat's Grace). We have a copy of your trunk and will activate it upon approval and return your account to registered status. The only minor question I have is - with your grandmother dying, why did responsibility for familial leadership skip your parents and get placed upon an 11-12 year old? Normally family leadership goes from grandparent to parent to then child. Teaching the next generation is usually from again grandparent to parent and then parent to child.

I suggest that you simply claim that you came home because your grandmother was dying, your family wanted to be near the family matriarch and in the time after her death your family had to make a lot of adjustments. You're back now and that is what matters. Simple, sweet and gets you where you want to be.

Avis mother, Ava Ernest, was born a year later, in 1985. The two had an pretty bad divorce in 1989, and Avis grandfather gained full custody of his daughter, Avis' mother. Avis' grandfather moved away to Harrow, England with his daughter. He refused to allow his daughter to visit her mother. After a quick turnaround, their grandmother remarried Lyanna's grandfather (So not Avis' grandfather). They had Lyanna's father, Oliver Oak, in 1992, and eleven years later when Oliver was invited to Hogwarts, Ava was not in the household and never learned about the wizarding world, not even knowing Oliver existed. Avis' grandfather moved away in 2007 to "chase his dreams," heading to Hollywood to make his move. He never succeeded, only landing a spot as an extra in a movie or two. Richard Harman - Father - 1980 to 2020

Face Claim: Robert Downey Jr.

Image

Richard Harman was born on April 21, 1980, to his father, Kyle Harman, and his mother, Jessica Harman. When Richard was two years old, he made his crib catch fire; his parents immediately fixed things before things got out of hand. Like father-like son, Richard's son would also do the same thing with his teddy bear many years later.
When he was 11, he went to Ollivanders and got his first wand; his wand would be that of Holly, 12 inches long with a dragon heartstring core, and it was said to be reasonably supple according to Garrick Ollivander. He would later be sorted into Gryffindor's house like his father before him. His entire family was sorted into Gryffindor with little exception; it was during his Hogwarts years that he would meet Ravenclaw student Carol O'Brian, a muggle-born student with a talent for charm work. Over the years, they grew to trust each other, and eventually, in their 5th Year, they would fall in love and start dating with nighttime strolls on the grounds. Argus Filtch would catch them, while on one of these strolls; it then came to the point where his close friend and cousin Issac Harman, named after his Grandfather, caught them kissing near one of the Corridors. He would not participate in the Battle of Hogwarts but would instead duel a Dark Witch named Bathilda Haggot in 1999, who was near his home; he would go on to graduate from Hogwarts along with Carol, and the two would get married in 1998 in 2007, his wife, Carol would give birth to their son, Jacob and would raise him, but he would later become arrogant when he went to Hogwarts in 2019. In July of 2020, Richard Harman would be killed by the Dark Wizard Augustus Haggot, the husband of Batilda Haggot, after ambushing him near his home in London with his son and wife watching in horror. The reason that he killed Richard was because of his wife’s earlier defeat. He had planned for years to take his revenge on Richard and to bring about the death of Richard. Augustus watched the death of Batilda. So he had very good reasons for wanting revenge. Overall, Richard Harman was a great man, ready to defend his family and the wizarding world. He will go down as a Harman Family legend.

Carol Harman - Mother - 1980 to Present

Face Claim: Scarlet Johanson

Image

Carol Harman was born to James O'Brian and his wife, Natasha O'Brian. Who were, of course, muggles; At four years old, she would show her first signs of magic by causing a flood in the bathroom of her home, which caused a lot of damage to the house. She would be approached at 11 years old by Professor Minerva McGonagall and got her Hogwarts Letter. She would later call her robes and her school supplies; she would, of course, go to Ollivanders, and she would get a wand made of Elm, 11 inches, springy, and had a Unicorn Tail Hair core. She would later be sorted into Ravenclaw house, and during her first year, she noticed that she was excellent with charm work. She then met Richard Harman during a Defense Against the Dark Arts class in her second year when the DADA teacher was Gilderoy Lockhart. During their third year, the two became friends,, and that was where they learned the Boggart-Banishing Spell, which she used whenever a Boggart was in a home she owned in later life. Finally, in their fifth year, they fell in love and often strolled on the school grounds in the middle of the night; however, at one point, Argus Filtch caught them, and she was then sent to detention by Dolores Umbridge. She would not participate in the Battle of Hogwarts but decided to complete her magical education. Carol graduated with high honors and was at the top of her class. She got married in 1998 to Richard Harman and then in 2007 gave birth to her son, Jacob. Though at first, she and her son had a tense relationship in 2019, she would later go into a deep depression in 2020 when Richard Harman was killed by Dark Wizard Augustus Haggot; in 2021, she and her son moved to Privet Drive.

Kyle Harman - Grandfather - 1951 to 2019

Face Claim: Sean Bean

Image

Kyle Harman was born on January 12th, 1951. He is known for writing several books that helped his son, including History of the Patronus in 1981, Helping in an edition of A History of Magic in 2001, and A Wizarding Wars History in 2008. His father was once an advisor to the Minister of Magic in 1951; Kyle Harman, like the rest of his family, was sorted in Gryffindor House in 1962. He was a good student and did not get into trouble. But he stood up to bullies from his own house or other houses. His greatest enemy in school was Batilda Haggot, who later became a low-level Dark Witch. It all began during their first year when she used a snake to poison Kyle; over the years, their rivalry grew until it grew to a full duel on the Hogwarts Grounds. Thankfully, this led down a peaceful path, and it caused Batilda, in her final year at Hogwarts, to get a detention from Professor Minerva McGonagall because of Kyle's actions. Since then, the Harman's and the Haggot's have never forgotten their long rivalry. His Grandson, Jacob, knew of his Grandfather due to stories from Kyle's son, Richard.

Issac Harman - Great-Grandfather - 1881 to 1931

Face Claim: Patrick Stewert

Image

Issac Harman was born in Hogsmeade in 1881, to his father, Franklin Harman, and his mother, Mara Harman. His father was a respected Auror from 1878 to 1915 until his retirement. Issac had his first use of magic in 1884 when he accidentally made his room catch fire, thankfully this did not spread to the rest of the house. When he was 11 he received his letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1892, during his years of school days, he displayed an excellent understanding of defensive magic, magical herbs, and other skills that would come around in his later career as an Auror, just like his father he would become a respected Auror in his own right, but he would never be the top Auror but he would still be a high-level Auror. Later married in 1921 to his wife Jessica. She would later give birth to his only son, Kyle. He died in 1981 at the hands of a Death Eater in an epic duel, and his wife Jessica would soon join him as the same Death Eater killed her. Issac Harman was remembered as one of the most skilled Aurors of all time, even after he retired in 1969. He still had a heck of a fight against a more skilled Death Eater. He will be remembered as a Harman family legend.

Franklin Harman - Great-Great-Grandfather - 1819 to 1931

Face Reference: Christopher Llyod (Note this is only a reference, not a full claim)

Image

Franklin Harman was born on May 31st, 1819. His father, Godric Harman, was frequently abusive, and his mother was submissive to her husband's whims. His sister was always on their father's side and often bullied her brother. She had ambitions that far superseded her capacity for bravery. This is probably what led to his sister being put in Slytherin. Little is known about his school days other than he received top marks on all his O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. exams. His achievements led him to the Auror Office when he graduated from Hogwarts in the 1830s. During his Auror career, he caught many Dark Wizards and became renowned for his skill. He later married Kara Harman in 1851. They wouldn't have a child for many years but eventually had a son they called Issac Harman in 1881. He later retired from his long career in 1892. His son would carry on his legacy. In 1931, Franklin Harman passed away from old age. From what little I could gather, this is the best I could do in such circumstances. And some of the dates and even the picture are dubious at best.

Augustus Haggot - Enemy - April 19th, 1951 to Present

Face Claim: Ian McDiarmid
Image

Augustus Haggot was born on April 19th, 1951, to a pure-blood family that produced Dark Wizard after Dark Wizard every century. However, the Ministry of Magic knew nothing about their illicit activities, as they mostly dealt with dark artifacts that couldn't be traced back to them. That was until the First Wizarding War. When Augustus grew up, unlike most Slytherins, Augustus did not aspire to become a Death Eater. Instead, he and his future wife, Bathilda, planned to become independent from Voldemort and start their own movement that would oppose the Ministry and their protection of Muggles and Muggle-Borns. Though they never managed to turn this into a reality, mostly because he wasn't that charismatic, he did, however, manage to get an adopted daughter by the name of Lucy, who was a baby in the 1980s, and it turned out that she was from a Pure Blood line that Augustus had a connection with, but the entire family was wiped out by those who wanted revenge on them but spared the baby. This would eventually lead to after the Battle of Hogwarts, where Bathilda died at the hands of Richard Harman while Lucy was away on her own dark journey as a Dark Witch. This led Augustus to want revenge on him in 1999, and he eventually got his wish in 2012. Where Augustus, in rage, would kill Richard as revenge for killing his wife, when in reality. She wanted revenge on his father because she got detention back in school and died after her spell rebounded back onto her.

Bathilda Haggot - Deceased - February 1951 to June 1998

Face Claim: Kathy Bates
Image

Bathilda Haggot was born as Bathilda Erdinc in February 1951 during the time of the First Wizarding War; she was the last of a long line of Pure Blood witches, stretching back to the time of the Hogwarts Founders, where her ancestor was one of the first students introduced in the School. Bathilda would go to Hogwarts herself when she was eleven years old, and she was sorted into Slytherin. She hated Muggle-Borns because her parents raised her to be that way from birth. She had no empathy or compassion and showed little appreciation for the rules of society. She also became a Dark Witch after she left Hogwarts alongside her husband, Augustus Haggot, and she would then be known as Bathilda Haggot after the two got married in the 1980s, though she did have a rival in Kyle Harman, and from that point forward. Even though a low-level Dark Witch, she accomplished a lot of feats in terms of Magical Ability, which is probably why she scored so high in her O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. exams. Eventually, she was defeated by Richard Harman in 1999, and this ended her for good. She was truly an awful person who cared nothing for anyone but herself. Even her marriage was due to Pure Blood mania more than anything else. She will forever be known as one of the lowest people can go.

Image

Lucy Haggot - Enemy - July 12th, 1980 to Present

Face Claim: Alexis Bledel
Sylvia Haggot is the adopted daughter of Augustus and Bathilda Haggot, she was raised to believe in Pure-Blood supremacy even while young, she was fully committed to the cause of this elitist mindset as early as her Hogwarts days. Though she had this mindset, she kept up appearances and was one of the top of her class. She was one of the most gifted students the school had ever seen. Mastering feats of magic, that many seemed impossible, she was a gifted student. But she was also manipulative and gained a slow following of students to her side. Even when Lord Voldemort rose again. She kept her association with them a secret for the time being. This will be until the time was right to launch her own campaign of terror.

Lucy Haggot - Enemy - July 12th, 1980 to Present

Face Claim: Alexis Bledel
Lucy Haggot is the adopted daughter of Augustus and Bathilda Haggot, she was raised to believe in Pure-Blood supremacy even while young, she was fully committed to the cause of this elitist mindset as early as her Hogwarts days.
