The closest thing you have to Alchemy here is Potions, and the closest to Arithmancy is divination.

Hi I just made a change in my character backstory, nothing much I just want to change the name of Aston's mother, the ability application I wrote that already got approved can't be edited and it has the most mentions of her by the old name. I would just like to change the name and nothing else, is that possible and who do I talk to to do that? Thank you

If you have already mentioned your mother and her previously picked name in RPs you've written, it cannot be changed.

If you haven't mentioned your mother in RPs at all and only in your ency/Index application, then you should apply for this change here: viewtopic.php?t=13033

Everyone is assigned stat points at creation
As human you'll get 35
As any other species you'll be getting 30

You adjust these stats and how much you wish to invest upon one stat based upon your preference

10 is the upper limit for each stat in year 1 and 2

Prat is correct. Stats are assigned by yourself. Each stat determines a unique point and advantage. Stats can be explained further here.

Abilities are unique skills/personality trait that each character has. They can give your character advantages in sports and moderated events. Or be used as flavour in roleplays. They can be explained further here.

This question is just out of curiosity, but why do people have to wait six months before they're allowed to deactivate their character?
