First Year Graduation Party

Hjørdis nodded towards the young girl [TATIANA] as she mentioned trying the punch. She could not help but quirk an eyebrow at her choice of words. Saying the drink tasted 'normal' enough or that the cupcakes from the tray should be 'safe' both concerned Hjørdis. The fact that a first year even considered that they were not safe or normal was worrying to her. The Blossomfest ball had done a number on the kids, it seemed. If only she knew how that punch got spiked... Sigh. Hjørdis was not pleased to say the least but they had no evidence pointing to a potential culprit.
The Slytherin Head of House went ahead and took a glass of the punch, just out of curiosity. She was a little intrigued to find out why the girl did not recommend it straight off the bat. Taking a sip, she acknowledged that it was just... decent. It was pretty standard punch, nothing overly special though. Hjørdis necked down the rest of the drink before putting it back down on the table. It was then that the noise levels of the room suddenly increased.
Her eyes widened as the scene broke out in front of her eyes. A kid got hurt. Disco balls started to fly everywhere. Her hand was raised, ready to cast them quiet. That was when she spotted students were all acting. Hjørdis spotted two of the Slytherin prefects, Luna and Nico, poised and ready. For a brief moment, she could not help but be rather impressed by the students' dedication to - at the very least - protect each other. They were quick to cast spells and get hurt but when push came to shove, they stood to fight and defend. She lowered her hand. The flying disco balls were not that much of a threat. Any damage done could be rather easily healed and these students had been through far worse than some wild disco balls.
Intrigued to see if they could succeed in the challenge facing them, Hjørdis decided to take more of a support role. The Slytherin cast a small shield spell around the food table, allowing anyone who needed to, a place to hide away from the flying disco balls and protect themselves. As she looked up, the incredibly bright colours of the Hufflepuff Head of House's shirt caught her attention. Mild relief surged through her for a brief moment as she thought he could help. He mentioned yesterday that he had experience as a healing - that would come in handy. But her relief turned into disbelief within moments. The man apparently ignored all of the chaos around him and went straight up to the Flying Professor to... flirt?!
Hjørdis almost cursed outloud, dashing towards the most needed point: the electrocuted boy. The Slytherin crouched down near him. He needed a healer. Whilst she was capable of producing healing magic, she was far better at potions than spells and sadly, she could not brew up a potion right now. Electrocution was not really a normal thing to see in her line of work, which wasn't medical. Someone like Professor Browne ought to be far better equipped to deal with this, "Yes," She replied as she heard a girl asking about taking him to the Hospital Wing [SASKIA] as she looked over him, "Or Browne." She continued as she heard that the girl claim that the professors don't seem very intent on helping out. The girl's claim was not wrong... Hjørdis was silently fuming at their behaviour. Her short sentence was enough to inform the children that the Hufflepuff Head might be capable of helping him, if he could tear his eyes away from Bercegeay for a few moments. If her words were enough, hopefully two of them would help take him to the wing or someone would get Browne.
Around her, students were casting a variety of spells left, right and centre. Luckily another one went to stop students from casting without thinking. Oh boy oh boy, did she regret ever allowing parties to happen in this school. They never seemed to go right. But she did not have time to stop them all right now, she had to focus on the kid. Since the source of the electrocution had left him, Hjørdis carefully went to check his breathing. She really did not want to start having to do muggle CPR right here in front of eleven year olds so she knew that she would have to get him to the wing if Browne could not help.

Raine watched as Arc and the Slytherin girl, Nico, ran toward the rogue disco balls and she hesitated. She wanted to help Arc. She wanted to help the others fend off these rogue disco balls or even help that kid to the Hospital Wing. She knew that was what she should do. What she needed to do. But the Gryffindor just couldn't find it in herself to actually...move her feet in that direction.Interacting with @Olphie Bercegeay and @Caradoc Browne
She was tired. Her fearlessness came with recklessness, like chasing after a damn girl who ended up in a Hag lair, but she was so damn tired of this shit. There were three damned professors in this party and none of them were even moving a finger to help! Well...maybe Professor Jensen moved a little but, but this whole situation reminded her so much of the damned Blossom Ball all over again and she just wasn't with the shits when it came to this school and their lack of adult supervision.
So instead of walking over to where the crowd of people were gathered, Rained decided to head over to the center-ish area where two professors were making gross googly eyes at one another. Adults sucked, especially when they were being all lovey-dovey toward each other. Except for her and Arc's parents. She was used to seeing them be all lovey-dovey, but when it came to the teachers, the gag reflexes just happened. Heading over to the Flying Professor and the Badger man professor, Browne she remembered at the last minute, Raine smiled with her cupcake in her hand and said,
"Hello lazy adults who I have to call my professors. There's a bit of a disaster going on over near the entrance of the Great Hall. Did you know? Oh...probably not...you two are too busy doing inappropriate stuff in front of impressionable students. But not to worry, a bunch of FIRST YEAR students will gladly handle the issue that is going on right now. NO NEED TO WORRY IF A FU- A KID ENDS UP DEAD! JUST TELL THEIR PARENTS THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT!"
Still glaring at the teachers, Raine took a bite from her cupcake, daring one of them to give her detention right at the end of the term for just telling it how it was. She did have to catch herself from cursing them out. She'd probably end up serving a month's detention in September if she did.

Interactions: @Koko Riddle and @Mari Haynes
There was no more time for silly, idle chatter about revenge plots and ruined reputations for the time being. This mess had to be put into order, and quickly before anyone got hurt. She refused to see the Blossom Ball repeated already.
Illowy didn't question falling in line with the orders of the prefect as she retrieved her wand from her pocket. The tool spun thoughtfully through her fingers as cold eyes sought out a target, the twirling only stopping as she held on firmly and took aim as a sparkling orb hurdled towards her. With a flick of her wand, the child spoke,
Flippendo!
The orb blasted away, shattering against the opposite wall. Her concentration only broke when Koko went off the order, shouting her spell like a lunatic and sending small meteors ablaze. The flash of fire stopped Illowy's heart of a moment, and she was about to bark against the girl's actions before fate decided they needed just one more distraction from the true problem at hand.
There she was, in all her glory (of one might use that term), amongst the chaos she belonged in...there she stood; Mari. Standing right in Koko's line of fire. Granted, Illowy would hardly go as far as to call the other snake a friend quite yet; but she was a housemate. A housemate with a common enemy and that was good enough for Illowy to find herself at Mari's side, wand at the ready towards the Hufflepuff, "Do you really think now is the time for your theatrics, Mari?" she questioned, her tone like stone, eyes set on the girl in spite of the disco balls swirling and zooming around them.
Oh, what she would give to have Mari try to take aim at her. One spell, one hit from the mad girl. Anything to give her justifiable reason to put her in her place.
At least her theory had been right. Mari dared to aim her wand at a Slytherin once out of malice, and she wasn't afraid to do it again. Illowy had already let her mind succumb to the Puffball's venom once, and she was hardly about to let her bleed it into who, for all intensive purposes, she considered family. After all, as they were reminded at the beginning of the year, one's house is one's family for their duration at Hogwarts; and you protect your family.
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

As reluctant as Lamik was to leave Saskias side for no reason in particular of course, he nodded at the professor and bolted to his feet before sprinting towards the distracted couple. Lamik noticed a girl was there talking to the two, and he greeted her as he arrived. "Hi. I'm Lamik, it's nice to meet you." The boy offered his hand to shake but quickly let it fall to his side as he realized that it wasn't the most appropriate time to make friends.
Looking back at the two professors, Lamik felt a type of anger that he hadn't felt during the entirety of his first year at Hogwarts. He wasn't going to yell at anyone, the girl beside him already seemed to have done that just fine. First, he turned to Olphie- the flying professor who seemed to have an obsession with herself. "Professor, I know that he's the love of your life but I think there's a real opportunity for you to be a hero here. You would be a perfect target for the disco balls- you know- because of the size of your god damn head." Lamik took a deep breath and turned to Caradoc. He wasn't going to insult him- though the boy wasn't exactly planning on insulting Olphie either- but instead just wanted him to help the injured boy. Lamik reached for his arm, and if he succeeded at grabbing it would try to drag him towards Nora.

A lot of things happened all at once. One girl, Riana Banslow, if Arc had remembered correctly, got hit in the butt by one of the rogue disco balls. Another girl tried to stop a ball by hugging it, only for her to be electrocuted as well. Why she did not learn from the first boy and thought that it was a good idea, Arc could not fathom. She was right there next to the first boy when he fainted! By the gods, people were stupid. One ball got lodged on the wall, another played in the punch, and one was just there floating right next to TURD Ball. That one…was ominous, to say the least. The almost perfect disco-themed graduation party had turned into a mess. Sigh. Magic be like that sometimes.
@Angellica Rowley came at a very wrong, very inopportune time. Well. A half-full cup kind of person might call it a very right time. It really depended on your point of view in life. Anyway. She came right as chaos started to ensue. Even with a dress and heeled shoes, though, she managed to dodge one stray disco ball coming her way. She used the Knockback Jinx to fight off another one of the rogue disco balls. And the spell worked splendidly. It had worked so well, in fact, it had caused more damage than if she hadn’t done so. The ball got knocked way back, crashing and destroying two tables, grazing one innocent, unsuspecting girl on her shoulder, and annihilated multiple tiles of floor before it finally stopped moving at the wall on the other end of the room. The pretty girl made her way to Arc and asked the million-galleon question.
@Sylvie Maple yelped as a ball flew her way, but managed to hide from the ball’s purview by diving under a table. @Nico Shymane, a good role model to all students out there, pulled his wand decisively and used the Knockback Jinx as well to wade off rogue balls. And she managed to do so as her spell struck true. And it caused casualties. A collateral for the greater good one might say. But at least two more people urgently needed special care in the Hospital Wing, now. Seriously, people had to stop using Flipendo!
But no. The young Slytherin Prefect, @Luna Choi tried to take control of the situation. And mostly she gave a sound advice. But she tried to use the Knockback Jinx as well. Sigh. Fortunately, for the chubby boy in front of him, but unfortunately for Luna, her spell critically failed and it rebounded on herself, flinging her body way back before slamming her body on the cold, multi-colored tiles. Ouch. That looked painful.
@Koko Riddle was even more reckless, she used the one spell that shouldn’t be used to the Disco Balls. Incendio, the Fire-Making Spell. Thankfully for everyone, her spell didn’t work. Three times she tried to cast, three times her wand only lit up a little before the fire fizzled out. Either she was moving her wand too fast or she couldn’t concentrate enough with all the blinding lights and everything, no one knew. Or maybe...maybe it was @Mari Haynes's interruption that saved everyone. She stood directly in front of the other girl. And she stood her ground. Were they about to clash? Seriously, it was not the time, girls.
Helping the electrocuted boy, Henley Finlackey, if any of them ever got to know him, was probably the best move among what all the other kids were trying to do now. @Elena Jangleton and @Saskia Nicholson were two of the students smart enough to do so. Henley was knocked out cold with bubbles foaming out of his mouth. His body was twitching, And he seemed to have trouble breathing. But he was still very much alive. Elena checked on the boy before seeing Koko trying to kill everyone. She joined Mari and it was now two against one. Saskia on the other hand stayed with the electrocuted boy and Lamik.
@Hjørdis Jensen came to the rescue. She was the most capable and responsible witch in the room. She cast a small shield around the food table, giving a safe haven for anyone trying to hide and not wanting to handle the flying balls. She then walked towards Lamik, Saskia, and Henley and realized that the boy needed immediately help. They needed to take him to the Hospital Wing or one Caradoc Browne.
Meanwhile, @Caradoc Browne and @Olphie Bercegeay were getting all lovey-dovey. It might have been true love. Who knew? But love could be blinding. They seemed to be blind to the world around them, to the chaos that was happening. The world felt like it belonged to only the two of them. Everyone else was just renting. Screw everyone else. They only needed each other. But a @Raine Sage came crashing. She gave a much-needed reproach to the two adults. But would it work? They might need a craftier, more sublte approach to handle the two starstruck lovers and Lamik -while amazingly bearing the pain on his arm- did just that. Was it enough to move Caradoc and Olphie's heart? Only time would tell.
Arc had to put an end to this. Stat. He needed to think how to stop this stinking mess. Before the balls made even more chaos. Before there were even more casualties. He needed to think. What spell could stop them? What did he know about those disco balls? They liked freedom. That was one. They liked festivities… What else? Ah! A metaphorical lightbulb appeared on the kid’s head. He knew how to stop those sons of balls. He should have noticed it sooner.
“Everyone!” Arc shouted loud enough for everyone to hear, cutting all the cacophony of sounds. Hopefully, it would catch people’s attention. “Use the…”
Unfortunately, to put a metaphorical cherry on top of this metaphorical giant cake of disaster, before he could talk much further, another disco ball was knockbacked by @Illowy Magnard and slammed directly into the temple of his head. He fell down head first towards the ground. And his head hit the cold floor with a thump.

The dark-haired boy was about to answer when a scream came from another part of the Great Hall. And it sounded familiar. It was another one of the party’s coordinators, @Lamik Fillestar. He had tried to use the Severing Charm on one of the balls, only for it rebound back at him. All at once, a long yet -thankfully- shallow gash, like an ultra long papercut, appeared on the boy’s wand-holding palm all the way until his shoulder blade. It was not a fatal wound, far from it, but the pain was excruciating and his clothes was now tinted with blood. He could bear the pain. And he was still conscious enough to check on the electrocuted boy, though.“What do we do?”

Sylvie poked her head out from under the table cloth. Spells were flying left and right as people tried to stop the balls that had gone rogue. "It's almost like they are shiny bludgers...." She thought, getting up from under the table. A loud voice echoed throughout the great hall.
"Everyone!"Sylvie, still sheepishly hiding under the table looked over to the boy. He said something else but was immediately cut off when the disco ball Illowy had used the knockback jinx on hit right on the forehead. Sylvie, being the person she is, ran out from her hiding spot to make sure he was okay. "Oh shoot! Should I go get more help? Should I try to help him? How would I help him, he looks pretty bad. Oh god..." She thought, staring at the boy in a panic. "Well, I have my wand with me, but the spells don't really seem to be doing anything, so I probably shouldn't use it right now."
A disco ball flew at her again, and she moved to the side. It did scrape her arm though, one of the pieces of the ball making a cut. Sylvie winced in pain, standing up. "Okay, I need to do something. They're acting like bludgers, and when the professor catches bludgers after a game she grabs them and put them in the box. Let's try this..." She grabbed the tablecloth from the table she was hiding under, causing a few things to fall off and break. "Well, we can use magic to repair it later... A disco ball flew towards her again, and she tried trapping it in the table cloth. "Hopefully this isn't too thin...."

Raine's attention turned to her friend as his voice could be heard over the chaos.
A gasp escaped her mouth, her mouth opening wide as she watched in horror as her friend was knocked back by a rogue disco ball, straight to his temple. Everything was moving so slow as her mind rewound the moment again and again.
A girl had used Flippendo on a disco ball. The ball bounced back away from her. It barrelled straight to Arc. The ball hit Arc and he fell straight to the floor and didn't move.
"ARC!" the girl yelled as she tossed her half eaten cupcake and cup of punch away from her and ran forward toward her prone and seemingly unconscious friend. Recklessly, Raine ran through the chaos that was the ball, pushing people out of her way, ducking under balls that were gunning for her almost like bludgers in a Quidditch match. Nothing mattered to her.
Nothing but Arc.
The noise of the chaos was muffled in her ears. It was almost as if there was water clogging her ear canals, drowning out everything and creating a heavy pressure. If her sole focus wasn't on her best friend, she was positive that her equilibrium would have tilted and she would have collapsed herself from dizziness. But she only needed to get to Arc. But for Merlin's sake, it seemed as if the room was stretching farther and farther, causing Arc to move further out of her reach...until she finally reached him.
"Arc!" she yelled again as she reached for his prone body. As frantic as she was, she was still gentle with his body as she turned him over and laid his upper body over her knees. Moving his dark hair out of his face, she frantically called his name over and over. Moving her own hair away from her ear she bent over, moving her head closer to his own. A sigh of relief escaped her own mouth as she felt his faint breath touch her skin and she pulled away once more look at his face.
"Come on, Arc. Wake up for me. If you don't, I'm going to have to embarrass you by hefting you over my shoulders and struggle carrying you out of here to the Hospital Wing," she whispered more to herself than to her still friend as she still ignored the chaos around her.

... Well, crap. Things were just getting worse and worse.
If Koko was being stupid, some of the other students were acting like complete morons. Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to hug one of the balls? The idea in itself was preposterous, and as expected, the girl got electrocuted and flopped right on the ground. Great. Now there were more unnecessary injuries that had to be dealt with. It would be harder for students to be able to help out, now that a good chunk of the first years were out of commission.
And now, it seemed that using Flipendo was, in fact, one of the worse things one could possibly do in this situation. Disco balls were sent hurtling and crashing towards several students, and if they kept this up, everyone would have to be sent to the Hospital Wing. There were also some people whose spells backfired on them, which also sent them flying backwards and onto the ground. Even the main coordinator of the party was knocked out cold by one of the balls, just as he was about to give out instructions on how to stop this chaos. It was ridiculous. Any efforts to help out wasn't just pointless- they just made the mess bigger. How would they ever be able to solve this?
On the bright side, it seemed that no fire would be starting in the party after all. Whatever those two people did or said, it must have worked for Koko's spell to flicker out. It was just a matter of whether the maniac would try the spell out again or not, or do something even worse. But hopefully she would be distracted with the other students trying to stop her, or at least acknowledge the fact that using Incendio to destroy the balls was pure idiocy. Knowing how stupid the girl was, the possibilities were slim, but she would have to depend on those two students to smack some sense in her (or knock her out) before that happened.
But there was one thing that especially troubled Saskia. Near her, she could hear her friend scream out in pain from what seemed to be a spell gone wrong. From her view, she could see blood dripping from his hand, and she could already see some of his clothes were also matted with blood. Yet somehow, he was still standing. For one, Saskia was impressed at how the boy was able to endure that pain and still stand, but a sense of panic and worry briefly overtook her as she wondered just how much pain he was in. Another part of her wanted to immediately drag him to the Hospital Wing and make sure he was okay, but she quickly snapped out of it. She needed to focus.
"Lamik, are you-" She was about to ask when he turned to leave, walking towards the other direction.
The girl's eyes widened. Despite his injury, he was still able to walk towards the professors and get help. Saskia took a deep breath. He would be fine, she hoped. It wasn't like he was completely helpless, and he could take care of himself. Probably. But she couldn't worry about that now. The girl immediately shifted her focus on the other boy who was lying on the ground, trying to block out any other distracting thoughts.
This kid was in a terrible condition. His breathing was shallow and his body was twitching, and was that foam in his mouth? Okay, that was really bad. Saskia didn't have too much experience dealing with electrocuted people, but she could still try to get the boy some help.
"Professor," she said, looking at the woman who thankfully arrived in time to ease the situation, "We need to get help for all these electrocuted kids. It'll take too much effort for us to bring them all to the Hospital Wing at once, so we'll definitely need the other professors' help. But if they can't do that, then we'll have to get the nurse here as soon as possible instead. If we can, we need to make sure nobody else gets hurt," she further explained, sighing to herself. "It would be helpful if you could also try to convince the professors to help us out, since they'd listen to you. But if that won't work, then we might be able to carry him over to the Hospital Wing and tell the nurse what happened, or just go over there and explain." She didn't know what else to do, and she just had to hope this plan would work. Of course, if the professor had a better idea, she would have gladly taken it. But they had to act fast- more people were getting electrocuted and the disco balls weren't getting any slower.
With that said, Saskia got up and walked towards the professors, clenching her fist as she tried to keep her anger in check once again. She couldn't afford to explode in front of the professors. She needed to get them to listen to her, but she didn't want to be outright rude either so they end up giving her a detention without giving her a chance to talk.
"Hello, professors," she began, giving both of them a tight smile that didn't seem to reach her eyes. "Are you aware of the commotion that is going on at this very second? Or are you too busy making lovey-dovey eyes at each other to care? It was a rhetorical question, and she didn't expect them to answer. Regardless, she continued on, making sure to give them the biggest glare she could muster.
"There are injured kids out there. Injured. Do you know what that means? That means they're hurt. They've been shocked by these death balls, and they all need medical assistance," she said, emphasizing each word as she outstretched her hand to gesture at the scene that laid out in front of them, injured kids and death balls alike.
"And what are you two doing instead? Oh, that's right. Flirting. Dancing. Or whatever. Because apparently love comes first, right?" she asked sarcastically. At that point, her voice was already raised and any sooner she would be yelling at them.
"So, if you value your students' lives, or even your own jobs, you'll help us. I don't care how you do it, whether you try to heal everyone in the room, take them to the Hospital Wing, or even find a way to stop this mess. Just act like the responsible adults and professors you're supposed to be, for crying out loud," she finished, taking a deep breath as she looked at the professors in the eye. She had barely stopped herself from shouting at their faces, but she figured her voice was already loud enough that it may as well be considered yelling to some of the students near their vicinity.
But now, she had to wait and see if this worked. Surely, if two other students tried to get the professors to listen, they'd be able to do something once another student tries to get their attention. She would have to hope it did or else this would all be for nothing.

Ouch, that was a big failure. Luna didn't sigh or anything, she just stood up and acted as if nothing had happened. Yep, she succeeded with the spell. Nothing else happened.
And then, something really bright and shiny caught her eyes. Okay seriously, what was this? Luna closed her eyes and opened it again. But what was she hoping for? It would not just disappear. Now, the bright thing was standing next to the pink-red sparkling thing. These professors seriously had good fashion. So bright, and shine, and hurt people's eyes. The problem was that these two did not care about what was happening around them at all. They only cared about themselves. She could not see them trying to help from behind like her Head of the House over there. At least Professor Jensen was still not as bad as others. She should be happy that she was a Slytherin, not a Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. This male professor was the Head of the House of which House again?
She was not disappointed in these people at all. She didn't trust them in the first place. Even the professor who had just helped them, Professor Jensen. That might just be an act to fool the pupils. Those humans were all scary creatures. No one should trust them.
There were already some students who felt uncomfortable that these professors were flirting. Good. She wanted to do something to make both of them felt uncomfortable, but she knew that she would be in trouble. It was so annoying that she couldn't do what she wanted because of the law. However, as long as she really wanted to do it, she wouldn't mind messing up some stuff. Making the professors uncomfortable was not interesting enough for her to do it. She would leave this making the professor felt uncomfortable job to the other students who just wanted to yell at the professors or were already yelling.
What caught her eyes, no, her ears more was a familiar voice. It was Kokonut's, that girl cast the Fire-Making Spell more than once although she had just said that doing it would burn the whole party. Luna walked to her, calmly. However, before she could arrive, someone suddenly jumped and screamed at Kokonut using their annoying voice. Obvious, it was the most annoying student in this school she had ever met, Water Tap.
Should she walk away from this horrible place? Maybe no, because it might seem like she was scared of Water Tap although she was not. Also, she actually just had to ignore that girl as if she did not exist. And Luna was not bad at ignoring people at all.
She walked casually to Kokonut and waved her wand, "Greeting, Miss Riddle." Would she just call this girl 'Miss Kokonut' when she wanted to talk about serious things? No. "I would like to ask why you are so interested in burning this party?" That didn't sound boring at all, however, this girl should have realized that there were more than a student and a professor here. And, Water Tap was totally not near them at all.
Just because I said you were bad does not mean that I am mean. It shows that I am honest.

Right, flying balls, As she turned away from the student casting fireballs everywhere, her eyes widened seeing Luna flung back by a disco ball.Ouch. That HAD to hurt. This was getting out of hand real fast and thank lord for the first professor that seemed to actually care bout what was going on. The Head of Slytherin House had arrived and order was being instilled slowly but surely but that didn't alleviate the flying things trying to murder everyone in sight. She turned back to Koko sighing before speaking."Look, I know you're trying to help but don't panic, okay? Fire is the last thing we ne-"Her remarks were interuppted by the arrival of another girl, a wand out.Oh, for the love of..She glanced at the girl frowning as her features triggered something in Elena. She had been at the cabins...she was sure of it...in fact.."Hey, you're that girl who was at the cabins.."She began slowly. Elena tuned out for a minute recalling the tackle she had done to free the poor soul, it had all worked out in this instance but it seemed like this time, the girl seemed quite intent on wreaking destruction on the fire-casting Slytherin. Elena drew her own wand looking between the two."Let's all just..calm down, shall we?"
Before things could pop off any more, Luna having recovered from her tussle with the disco ball walked up and said her statement with such a serious tone Elena had to blink a few times to make sure she was hearing correctly. This was not the helpful person she had run into at the Grounds, more like an monotone, authorative figure. "I think you got this. I'm gonna go try to prevent more broken students."The Gryffindor said to Luna not too keen to be in the middle of a duel considering the situation at hand. Running off, she ducked a disco ball which hurtled towards her keen on smashing her to bits. Ok, Flipendo only made it worse by propelling it and fire would only increase the damage so...a idea hit her head."What if we cut the damn things?"She muttered to herself. All you needed was something to soften the impact at least. If they couldn't stop the darned things then lessen the injuries it could cause. But what? Than an idea popped into her head. It probably was the most foolish thing but worth a shot. The Dancing Feet Spell was usually reserved for objects with legs but what if she used it on the balls, would they offer some sort of reaction or just zoom out of control more wildly.Well, only one way to find out.Clambering up onto a table, she locked onto a disco ball flying and pointed her wand at it tracking it."Tarantallegra! She muttered.
