Match 5 - Saskia vs Koko
Well, if Koko was good at anything, it was running away from things. She had jumped out of a window to evade someone, for Merlin's sake! She was pleased that she could do something that wouldn't get her killed, and it was probably something that pissed everyone else off. She enjoyed that aspect of running. It made her seem less like a coward and more like an asshat. Given the choice, she would greatly prefer the latter.
Koko shot a triumphant smile at Saskia. "I- ACHOO - think I'm doing quite all right!" She wiped her runny nose with her sleeve, knowing that she could wash it later. Still, she would run away from whatever spell Saskia shot at her. Sure, she was in pain form the fire and the head cold. But she valued her life more than the rest of her, and she would survive this.

Match 5 - Saskia vs Koko
It wouldn't take a genius to figure out what Saskia's next move would be. What else could she do? Time was ticking, and her nose was not getting any better. If she could just get this spell to hit her opponent, it would all be over. But no, the Slytherin had to make it so damn difficult for her. Not only was this stupid cold ruining her aim, but the girl was running around like some idiot. It was perfectly understandable- not only was she suffering from the same cold as she was, but she was also on fire. That didn't make it any more annoying, though.
Damn snot. The girl wiped her nose with her sleeve, gritting her teeth as she waved her wand and called out, "Flipendo!"

Again, the Hufflepuff used the knockback jinx on the snake. The tip of her wand lit up and blue light flew towards Koko. The Slytherin was ready for it and she knew that she had to keep dodging. She had to keep dodging to tie with her opponent. It was getting repetitive, but it was also exciting at the same time. Just once. If the Flipendo hit her once more, Saskia would definitely win.
The badger aimed really well this time, even through her cursed snot and sickness. But apparently, it was not enough. Koko was even better. The spell missed her and she was spared defeat for another time. She got burnt, again, but the flame finally ended. Thank the gods. There might be a silver lining through all this after all. Or something.
One thing was for sure, though, Saskia was running out of time. Tick...tock.

Match 5 - Saskia vs Koko
Goddammit. Would it kill her to stay still for once? To be fair, it probably would have, in a literal sense. But it wasn't hard to tell that Saskia was frustrated. She just needed to hit one spell, and it was over. She would have won. But at this rate, it wasn't going to happen. She could already feel the effects of the curse get worse and worse. It was getting harder to breathe with her nose getting clogged up, and tears were starting to form her eyes. It was an embarrassing sight, although she was lucky no one else was nearby to see her tears.
The girl gripped her wand tightly in her hand. If it weren't for this cold, she would have had an easier time knocking this Slytherin on the ground for good. But time was ticking and her chances were getting slimmer by the minute. She had one more chance to try. Holding her wand up, she waved it around in the same pattern she used for quite some time now. "Flipendo!"
Actions: Try to flip this snek into oblivion if she can

Match 5 - Saskia vs Koko
She had survived for one more round. This Hufflepuff who likely resided in a place full of darkness and anarchy would not win. Koko was sure of it. She kept bouncing on the tips of her toes, knowing with a certainty that if she didn't get knocked out, that evil French-Fry Woman wouldn't win. It was that simple.
Of course, she felt like shit. Her nose was red, her eyes were puffy, and her head felt like it would explode. Did that stop her from running? No. It most certainly did not. Koko still grinned triumphantly, snot oozing down her upper lip, and then she closed her lips. Nope. She wasn't going to get that icky stuff in her mouth. She wasn't too bothered by the snot in any other way. Koko was absolutely positive that she looked beautiful anyway.
Koko's bloodshot eyes were wide with slight humour, and her lips were twisted into a foul grin as she leaped this way and that. Honestly? This was fun.

Everyone loved a good underdog story. Against all odds, through the snot-filled curse and all the burning, Koko Riddle never gave up. She had little to no chance of winning this duel already, but she could at least had a tie. And it seemed that it was what she was aiming for. The Slytherin never stopped moving her feet, dodging and weaving her opponent's unrelenting spells. Even though Arc had to be impartial, it was hard not to be moved by that sight.
Alas, fate was not on her side.
Time was running out for Saskia. And she had to finish this quickly if she wanted a win. She had missed her last two shots. And if she missed another time then she most likely did not have any power to cast another spell. She might even need to be directly moved to the Hospital Wing. It must be hard to keep calm in that situation. The young Ravenclaw must admit that he also admired the badger's tenacity. He had learnt a lot just by watching the two girls. And whatever came next, this had been an awe-inspiring duel.
And then, she did it. Koko was giving her best to avoid the incoming projectile. But even with the powerful curse tightening on her neck (and nose), Saskia was focused. And her aim was true. The blue light struck the snake right in her tummy and with a bang she was thrown to the cold hard floor. There was no standing up after that. She would only have a few seconds left before losing consciousness.
It was almost the same for Saskia, though. It was hard enough for her to eek out that last burst of magic, she still had to give all of her power of will just to stand up and stayed conscious. Amazingly. the girl managed to stay upright long enough to hear Arc announced her the winner of the duel. The boy almost thought that she would lose consciousness standing up like some kind of manga protagonist. But apparently she toppled down not long after that.
Now, how was he going to pick up these two girls to the Hospital Wing? Ugh. This would be a hassle.

Match 5 - Saskia vs Koko
Shit. Shit, shit, shit. She knew something had gone terribly wrong when the world seemed to woosh past her in an instant. She already felt dizzy, but now that dizziness was worse, and she was beginning to feel light-headed. And then there was pain.
It wasn't as if she hadn't felt the pain before; she had definitely been knocked back multiple times, but the sheer intensity of this combined with her sickness made the poor girl grunt, tears springing up in her eyes. She was crying. Koko couldn't remember the last time that she had cried.
Her blonde hair was on the ground below her, sticky with sweat, and she began to see spots. Ugh. She already knew that Saskia would win. The House of Hufflepuff would never redeem themselves in Koko's eyes. Never.
Her breath was coming in short, shallow gasps as she tried to inhale as much air as she could. She coughed, her small body jerking on the ground. She was dying. Koko's lungs would begin to fail her as her eyes squeezed shut, the pain too much to bear. Her face was red and covered in sweat and snot, and she gave a final sneeze as she went still, unconscious.

Match 5 - Saskia vs Koko
Saskia couldn't believe it. It only took multiple missed spells and all her concentration, but she did it. Her spell landed squarely on the Slytherin, causing her to fall back on the ground. The Hufflepuff expected the girl to get up at some point and keep trying to dodge her incoming attacks. It was only after a few seconds of Koko laying on the ground that Saskia knew she wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.
And that was it. She won. She had her moments of doubt, but she actually did it. If she wasn't feeling so sick, she would have laughed or even squealed with joy. It might have been embarrassing, but that was just how excited she was. Unfortunately, it was getting harder to even talk. Her throat was clamping up and it was difficult to contain the tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
Arc's voice seemed far away as Saskia tried to steady herself. Everything seemed fuzzy to her. Even when she tried to wipe her face again, she could barely register what was in front of her. God, how long had she been standing? Saskia sniffled, trying to take a deep breath and adjust herself. But that didn't even work either. It only made things much worse for her.
Soon enough, nausea crept over her, and her surroundings felt even more of a blur than ever. Saskia didn't even think she could take a step without falling over. The world was spinning and before she knew it, her vision blacked out and the girl collapsed on the ground.
Final Actions: Saskia loses consciousness at this point :')
