"smile and let everyone know today, you were a lot stronger than you were yesterday."

The night had suddenly switched for the better. She felt her same, goofy smile spread on her face as she faced her friends, and some strangers. Rosie had felt so low just minutes before her old bully came and pressured her to suck it up for the sake for her friends, and as much as she didn't wanna admit it, Max was right. She had to. And it wasn't that hard when she was surrounded by wonderful people.

Rosie felt two hands clasp on her shoulders. The first hand to her left, was Rhea, expressing her concern for the fact that she had dove under the table. Firstly, there was a question to make sure she was okay, and Rosie nodded. "Yep! I'm all good!" She reassured, sticking up a thumb. Rosie almost jumped when she felt the other hand on her right shoulder, turning to see Eris. She looked more or less nervous, and Rosie couldn't blame her. They had just gotten out of a nasty fight. But when Eris threatened to punch someone, she froze. Punch? Anatole? Now? No. That just couldn't be. She shook her head frantically. "No, it's fine! No punching, please. Everything is a-okay!" She said confidently, sticking up her thumb and grinning at Eris.

She felt the eyes on her, and suddenly blushed. Jesus this was rough. This was all because she let herself break down from a rejection that didn't even matter. Frick Anatole! Frick Anatole and his dumb, stupid, rejection. Rosie didn't care. Not at all, in the SLIGHTEST bit. Anatole was missing out, if anything! Rosie was a great dancer, and a great date! And he might've just lost the world's greatest best-god damn-friend!

After her head went through a little rant, she gasped and looked up to Rhea's announcement. Dancing! Finally! The main reason why she came to the ball! There was a small issue though, Rosie no longer had a partner. Heck. Maybe she could still convince Anatole to do one dance with her, or she could hide in the bathroom until a song she could dance by herself to came on, or-

"Hey, Rosie,"

Rosie recognized that voice. She turned to be faced with Adam, and she involuntarily smiled. She could trust him, she knew that. "Hey.." She whispered back, hoping Adam hadn't seen her cry. Well, everyone saw her dive under a table, so nice try Rosie.

But then, he asked her to dance. Seriously? Adam Harringtom just asked her to dance? Rosie must have been dreaming, cause she thought the only dude that would dance with her was Anatole. Apparently not. She smiled and took the hand he was gesturing with. "Yeah! Let's go." She exclaimed, pulling him onto the dance floor.

Rosie was gonna go with Max's advice, don't let him see you down.

Let's show Anatole what he's missing.
