EmmaLee giggled a little as Pax ate their banana and cheered in triumph. "That'll do." She said with a nod and a wide smile.

She frowned a little as the older boy came over and started babbling to Pax in Portuguese. He seemed very upset and she could understand a little of what he said but the inflections were throwing her off. She nodded to Pax and wandered over to the cannon for her next assignment.

As everyone wrapped up this round of truths and dares, EmmaLee added her name and action choice into the cannon. She would definitely finish out this game even if it meant she could never speak to anyone here ever again out of embarrassment. Hopefully her selection of truth this round would tamper that a bit.

The cannon shot out its next paper ball and landed neatly in her hands. ~Monica Evans, Truth~ EmmaLee looked around for the girl. Monica was the, uh, blue haired girl over there.

EmmaLee headed over to Monica, who seemed to just be finishing up a dare for the person who had made her embarrass herself in front of that boy. She tapped Monica on the shoulder.

"Hello, Monica. My name is EmmaLee. I really like how your hair turned out and I would like to ask you a question. Do you believe in any superstitions? If so, which ones?" She asked, clasping her hands behind her back and rocking back and fourth on her heels in a curious gesture.

Just as Monica answered her question, an older girl with rain hair approached her. "Yes, I'm EmmaLee." She said with a smile. "It is nice to meet you, Emma. There seems to be a good number of us Emma-somethings. There is someone named Emmie running around this boat as well." She said with a small chuckle, then pondered Emma's question. She put one arm around her waist, rested her other elbow on that arm, and put her knuckle to her bottom lip in thought before speaking.

"Well, to be honest, I don't think I've met any really difficult people, yet. A couple of my tentmates have some kind of conflict that I don't know about. I don't particularly like the girl from Durmstrang in that conflict but I don't really know her very well." She chuckled a little at herself. "I guess that's a good thing though."

Yes, truth was indeed a better option.

Monica watched as her, 'victim' Mathias, made his choice whether to complete her dare or not. As she waited though, she felt a slight tap on her shoulder. Turning around she saw a white, blonde haired girl standing behind her. Monica had recognized her from seeing her complete dares during the evening, and even recall seeing her around Hogwarts, but had never had the pleasure of meeting her formally.
"Well it is nice to meet you EmmaLee!" Monica listened to the question given, what an interesting one, and something that took a bit of thought. Strange, how one never really thinks about things like that, until directly asked about it. Were there superstitions that Monica believed in?
The more she pondered the more things came up, like how she had never played any sport without wearing her 'lucky socks' for lack of a better word. They were the first sport socks she had ever bought with her father when she tried out for her very first sport team years ago. Come to think about it, if she ever stepped onto a field without them, she could tell her playing was far worse than when she had been wearing them.
She also remembered being told by her older brother, that spilling salt was bad luck, and that when you passed by a cemetery, you should never breath, or you would catch a curse from the people that lay to rest there.
She looked at the girl, awaiting for Monica to answer, "Well, I have never thought about it before... but there are quite a few that I do believe in, if I am honest. I have a pair of socks that I have to wear for every sport I play, or I wont play well at all. Never spill salt, it is bad luck, and if you breath while passing a cemetery, you could catch a curse. Um those are the ones I can think of, I hope that satisfies your question."
Monica smiled at the girl, as she moved on to her own next interaction, Monica turned her attention back to Mathias, awaiting for him to fulfill her dare.

Emmie Bailey.

That was the name on the slip of paper. Hiro didn't think he'd heard the name before. Wait, no. Yes. No? Maybe?

He'd definitely heard it during the course of the game. But putting a face to the name was harder. Hiro thought for a few seconds, trying to pull up a mental image of the girl's face. Ah, wait, there it was! Glancing around for some sign of the girl, Hiro looked one way and then another way, searching for someone that fit the description of the image that was currently in his mind's eye. "Ah! There you are! Emmie, right?" Hiro said as he grinned at her. Both of them? Well, that was a first. He thought for a few seconds. What kind of fun dares/truths could Hiro come up with?

Ooo, he'd just thought of one! "If you could do something bad and not get caught, what would you do and why would you do it? Also, if it's doing something bad to someone, who would you pick?" Yes, it was a rather interesting question. It could be non-personal or personal, depending on what the person picked to do. A fun truth question that he didn't think had been asked before, unless it had and he just hadn't heard it from where he currently was. "As for your dare..." Hiro thought for a few seconds. What would be a good dare for Emmie?

And then it hit him.

"I dare you to go up to Pax Zhang and tickle them until they laugh!" Hiro said with a smirk.

============
The listless rejoinder to his admittedly questionable joke was what caught his attention. This was no cursory acknowledgment of humor for the sake of sidestepping discomfort. No; the subtle embrace of her arms about her torso spoke of underlying distress. And as eyes fidgeted to and from his own, unable to hold his steady gaze, the erratic timbre of her tone communicated more than the words which stumbled from her lips.
His features softened into a tender smile, one hand extending to perch fingertips atop Emma’s shoulder if she allowed. Understanding flecked hazel irises as he responded reassuringly, ”Nothing to forget. I can certainly see how that would be difficult, but I’m sure you’re doing just fine.” The offered hand would then retract, fingers set to comb through his own hair as the sympathetic smile widened back into a mirthful grin. Brow raised, his next intonation would reflect the apparent cheer. ”Just so long as you don’t think of anything too devilish to make me do in detention, then I’ll fully support you!” A mischievous wink played briefly upon his face, gone with a swiftness that might leave her to wonder if it had ever been there in the first place.

Thereafter, the interaction was promptly severed by a ”Hey!" immediately followed by an explanatory ”You!”
Features slackening in curiosity, Marshal turned to see… nothing. Nothing but the platinum tip of a head greeted his visual survey, the next thing to hint at the speaker’s identity coming in the form of a delicate tap on his cheek, followed by a second. Expectations of height lowered along with his gaze, where he was met by two orbs bathed in oceanic splendor. The azure tincture of the girl’s eyes threw him into a momentary lapse of sense, awe encapsulated by the sweet sound of her voice. Soothing words caressed his ears, registering like a bell whose tone he did not comprehend, yet whose note rang with a purity that resonated even as she turned away. Hurrying off, she left him to wonder on his own at what exactly those words had meant. As it stood, they were naught but glamorized gibberish.
Bafflement crinkled his brow, foreshadowing the amused question he planned to slip to Emma about ‘what the heck’ that might have been about.

But alas, the inquiry would never reach his tongue, as yet another unfamiliar voice tickled his eardrums.
”Pleasure to meet you, Emmie.” He inclined his head to the newcomer, who was akin to the blue-eyed girl in that both were clearly younger than himself. ”What is it that I’ll be doing for you?”
What followed was a dare that left him uncertain how to react. Certainly, the prospect of declaring his undying affection for a random girl was not outside his purview of tenacity, given that his past self would have - and had - done so with minimal hesitation. But that said, his present self did not directly mirror that of the past.
Most obvious of the discrepancies was carried in his age, presenting the particular issue that he was more advanced in years than the girl with whom he was supposedly in love. Granted, the difference was undoubtedly no more than a couple of years between them. But regardless, the idea of flirting with someone who was likely coming into their first year at Hogwarts simply seemed wrong.
The second disparity from his past mentality was represented in the way his eyes flicked briefly in the direction he’d last seen Evelynn.
Once again, it felt… wrong.

He brushed the thought aside, however. This was a game of Truth or Dare, after all. Where whim clashed relentlessly with action, and frivolity dictated the value of procedure. It didn’t mean anything - not really.
Yet, even with that assurance, the nod of agreement he offered Emmie was given with half a heart, his steps initially stunted by hesitance as he approached his target from behind. Though, as the distance closed, his strides only widened, spurred by resolve. If he was going to complete a dare, there would be no such influence as uncertainty to taint the nature of the game. After all, discomfort was the foremost purpose of its design, was it not?

A gentle finger would prod the shoulder of she who spoke pretty gibberish. Upon seeing those azure irises once more - were she to turn toward him - the hand that had reached out would return to him, flourishing in a loose gesture as he spoke. ”So sorry to bother you, but I wondered if I might get your name?” The words flowed from his lips with the relaxed lilt of a practiced poet. He would pause to allow a response, then continue whether one came or not. ”I can’t say I understood what you said to me back there, but I can say it was enchanting,” and for the fulfillment of the dare… ”and I love you for it.” An easy grin teased his features as he added, ”And might I also add, your eyes outshine the sheen of our personal sea.” His chin inclined toward the water over the ship’s edge.
The compliments were genuine, if a bit flowery for the taste of a practical heart. He supposed he would shortly learn where this girl stood on that spectrum.

Most unfortunate about this game was the abundance of intrusion upon private interactions. Being a large proponent of meaningful interplay, Marshal preferred to allow conversations a chance to develop and mature, until they might finally bloom into something beautiful. Though such a hope was growing increasingly unreasonable, as another commitment pulled the blue-eyed girl elsewhere, leaving him in solitude for but a moment before yet another face loomed into view.
A moment of scrutiny unveiled this individual as one he’d previously met, though only once, the memory obscured by the unpleasant image of one Mathias Pride. Hiro had been there when he’d confronted the former Slytherin concerning Winnie, and when… A shudder reverberated down his spine at the thought of how that meeting had concluded. The scales of that snake upon his back, and the flicker of its tongue in his ear. It was a moment he would quite like to have time erase from the existence it oversaw.

But Hiro had done nothing to earn his ire, save for befriending said snake, thus receiving an amiable greeting in the form of a small wave. No time was left for a verbal response, however, before the boy continued with the purpose of his approach.
Marshal’s eyes narrowed slightly. A dare to rank everyone on the ship based upon their appearance? It was an appalling notion; one that could only be given with insidious intent, or outright ignorance for the emotions of those placed upon such a ridiculous scale.
The Gryffindor wasn’t one to back down from a challenge, but the same couldn’t be said if the challenge involved picking at the self-view of others.
Teeth ground in irritation as his ranking was assigned; not against the mediocre value thereof, but the idea that someone in the group would be arrogant enough to propose a dare of that caliber.
"Lucky me,” he replied dryly, his previous affability having evaporated with Hiro’s words. Interest in saying more suffered a brutal death, hazel eyes silently boring a hole into the other boy’s back as he moved on to his next victim.

The contact led immediately to a sight that sent his eyelids skyward in dismay. Specifically, that of Evelynn invading the personal space of Arjan. Posture angled forward, ginger hair cascaded about a porcelain face before falling loosely to the front of her core, swinging gently with every subtle movement of her hand - over Arjan’s face.
Hackles raised in resentment at the altogether too intimate scene, the two suspended in an extended snapshot of proximity. A snapshot that lasted much longer than a recent occurrence between she and himself, wherein time had permitted their eyes to hold one another for but an instant before tearing them apart. No, she had torn them apart, whereas it seemed she had been the one to initiate the application of makeup to Arjan.
While he supposed he should have seen the image of the older buffoon in such a compromised state as comical - the dress absurdly disproportioned against his body - he simply couldn’t bring himself to enjoy it. Rather, he adopted the visage of a statue, pose and pallor alike, gaze glued to the scene until it came to a close when Eve stepped away in favor of the nearby clothing chests.

The breath he’d been subconsciously holding finally escaped through his nostrils, and he moved to approach her. He did not, however, take more than five steps prior to the appearance of another figure, moving toward the same target with a determined demeanor that alarmed him instantly.
That alarm only deepened when a voice pierced the air, verbalizing some form of nonsense by way of announcing what would come next.
The world stopped turning the moment Eve stumbled backward, the shock on her face reflected in the horror of Marshal’s own. Her footsteps dragged as if through molasses, all else fading to the depths of another universe as his field of view tunneled, leaving naught but her as the following second progressed over what seemed like a thousand.
The spell was broken when her leg collided with the rail of the ship, sending her into nothing, where obscurity took her as she disappeared.
”EVELYNN!” Her name was ripped from its place in his heart, racked by an inflection of irrational terror. His feet shattered the ice that had frozen around them mid-step, driving him to the railing more swiftly than he could ever recall moving, where hands slapped against wood, upper body carried over the edge as eyes desperately scanned the water below. The only evidence of the girl’s presence were the roiling remnants of her passage into the azure depths.
Without a second thought, the boy threw a knee to the air, planting the sole of his shoe against the railing’s face. Weight rocking forward, his muscles tensed in preparation to vault the barrier between himself and the girl who… evidently knew how to swim.

The motion came to a halt as a pinpoint of red bobbed to the surface, like a flame lit upon a measure of oil to burn in defiance of the water’s engulfing hold.
”Eve, are you okay?” he called. No response reached his ears, but the senseless fear that had overtaken him faded with every stroke she took around the ship, which fortunately did not actually move. He watched for a few moments more, assuring himself that she could keep herself afloat before his attention swung to an article of clothing that had been abandoned, to languish pitifully in drenched isolation.
Reaching for the waistband of his pants, he withdrew his wand from its place there and directed its tip toward the hat Evelynn had left behind. ”Wingardium Leviosa.”

Marshal casts the Levitation Charm
Wisdom check: [d20:]17+7 = 24 [successful]

The incantation slid smoothly from his lips, wand moving in a concise manner that would have made his mentor proud - had she not been floundering in a makeshift ocean. The tricorn hat lifted slowly from the water’s face, wafting back toward the railing at his gentle beckoning. Once it drifted within reach, he claimed it with the opposite hand, giving it a slight shake in a hopeless effort to discard the moisture gathered within. Its weight contended with that which a hat ought to bear, multiplied by the water gathered in its material. But it would dry, and Eve could enjoy her adornment once more.

One more glance was cast toward the swimming prefect before he whirled on a heel, livid irises panning across the deck in search of the doer of the deed. Pasty skin assaulted his ocular sense, topped by the contrasting tinge of a carrot, as his target shifted into view.
Memories of Mathias’s viscous voice hissed from the stands of the Hogwarts quidditch pitch, smugly purporting the intimate nature of his relationship with Winnie as though she were some prize to be lofted in the sky. The whispers from the past only stoked the fire that propelled Marshal in Pride’s direction.
Not even the cry of a cannon drew him to stop, the wad of paper caught with contempt and unfolded for a brief inspection while he walked. He balked, pupils lofting to the heavens as he found that even the parchment was stained with Pride.

Upon reaching the ginger, his tongue would waste no time in delivering a challenge that could not be met within the parameters of the game, nor the extent of the snake’s existence. ”I dare you-“ his hand would shoot forward, palm intended to land flat against Pride’s chest with a force exceeding that which he’d recently imposed upon Evelynn. Whether successful or not, he would leave the paper bearing Mathias’s named to fall limply from the same hand, the action offering punctuation as he completed the sentence, ”to get a life.” Pure vitriol coated the words.
Hazel eyes would remain locked on the other boy’s features until a call of irritation penetrated the contact.

”Marshal!”

His head snapped toward the sound instantly, where a particularly disheveled-looking Evelynn shared the water’s love with the deck.
Another pair of daggers were thrown at Mathias before Marshal strode to meet the girl, ignoring any response the other boy might have, barring physical or magical retaliation.

Growing near to Eve, his anger would gradually fade behind light amusement at her bedraggled appearance; yet even that was overcast in the shadow of wonder.
Clothing embraced her form, holding it with the care of a moulding that would cast it in immortality for his mind’s eye. For all the physical merits Evelynn bore - the delicate precision with which her features had been painted, the silver clouds that were ever captured in her gaze, and the dance of warming flame that swayed upon her hair - her sodden state accentuated a developing aspect that he hadn’t noticed quite so acutely before now. And suddenly, for the first time only since she had been pushed off the ship, he found it rather difficult to breathe.

He tried not to stare.
He failed.
He failed miserably.

”Whuh…” he stammered, brow scrunching and relaxing as though fighting a pain in his sinuses. His mouth floundered with the desperation of a fish out of water, eyes equally as unstable as they flickered to her face, then lowered once more. ”What, uh…” he managed slowly. ”What do you need? Are you okay?” The restoration of concern was what finally cemented his gaze upon her eyes, now searching them for signs of anguish or discomfort. All he found was naked irritation.
A hesitant smile pulled at one corner of his mouth. Lifting the item he’d retrieved from the water, he said with a note of hopeful supplication, ”I got your hat.”

The Ravenclaw girl smoothed the crumpled parchment that shot from the cannon.
Emma Wynn~Truth

Emmie smirked as Marshal went to complete his dare of telling EmmaLee that he loved her. Looking around, she tried to find her next "victim" Emma Wynn. When she finally found the brown haired girl, Emmie went up and said," Hi, your Emma Wynn, right? I'm Emmie Bailey. Your truth is: What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done in your life?"

After giving Emma her Truth question, Emmie plopped down on a cushion and enjoyed a cold drink. Suddenly, someone tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and saw a boy with white and black hair. Hiro something, the boy from one of the other schools.

As she listened to her Truth and Dare, Emmie's mind was racing. Why are all boys MENTAL!? They are ALWAYS thinking about strange stuff! Still, she replied, "Something bad and not get caught...... Hmm, I would go into the Library’s restricted section and read some books. If I really have to do it on someone, it would be a great choice to do it on you.” She smiled sweetly at Hiro.

Now for the Dare part. Emmie creeped up to Pax and tickled her on the waist. Hopefully she will laugh soon so she could end all this embarrassment!

Action: Give a truth to Emma Wynn and complete Dare and Truth

For the next round, Emmie picks Truth

A slate gaze, hardened beneath the discomfort of her position, peered up from beneath water matted lashes. They would find their target quickly, preferentially snapping to a gaze that had looked her way. Brows furrowed slightly, noticing the identity of the individual from whom he was taking his leave. The two had a history of less than acceptable engagement, and based on the glare that Marshal shot the now Mahoutokoro student, she couldn't entirely be certain that another altercation wasn't about to be in progress.

Pending Mathias' reaction, however, it seemed that—at least for now—matters would be left to simmer. How long that would last would be left to question. In the mean time, Evelynn dragged her gaze away from whatever expression had adorned the ex-Slytherin's face, to the approaching figure of her friend. Once again the faintest of lines would etch upon her brow, shadows of the concern reflected back at the anger chiseled so apparent on his features. The crimping of lips would herald a loaded warning not to do anything hasty, or at least a question to inquire on the source of his chagrin. No such words would need be spoken, though. Not as the heated emotions began to fade.

Satisfied in the moment and content that he had heard and was making his way over, Evelynn's gaze would then drop to the state of her attire. Sighing, she plucked at the sodden fabric, grimacing as she pulled at various points. Something for which it seemed vehemently against as sucking hisses retorted and gripped all the more to her frame with every tug. Surely this did not at all help poor Marshal's state of distraction. Not that she was at all cognizant of the inner battle between mind and hormone waging violently behind his eyes.

"Honestly..." The frustrated murmur expressed her ill content as hands worked in tandem to smooth down and squeeze along her sleeves, dripping the excess water to the deck. Then the same with the fabric of her blouse, and her pants. The pool of water at her feet grew steadily with every passing moment, rivulets added to its volume with every pass of her palms over her hair. Tresses smoothed back atop her crown and as she pulled it forward over a shoulder, twisting their length into a rope, torrents of the false ocean fell in sheets to her feet all over again.

"This is going to accomplish nothing..." She sighed, ultimately caving to the notion that she was well and drowned, and no amount of manual wringing was going to spare her of the sodden clothing. She hadn't initially registered the barely audible stammering of his initial attempt to talk, but as Marshal actually managed to lift his eyes and regain control of his senses, Evelynn conceded defeat. "Yes.. yes... I am quite alright..." Hands flicked beads of water from their fingertips. "What I need..." She relented, holding those same hands out to the side in surrender and lifting her gaze to his, "is a rather large hot air dryer."

She blinked at the notice of the hat held aloft. "Oh!" Her head swiveled momentarily to the edge of the boat from where she had fallen. "I had forgotten..." she admitted, returning her attention then back to Marshal. "Thank you..." Although curiosity would colour her appreciation, and upon noting that he was awfully dry for having retrieved it, she could hardly stop herself from inquiring, "How did you manage that?"

If further explanation was provided, she would interject with a quiet, "That was actually rather clever..." But even if he did not, she would quickly move on.

"Anyway, could you—" A flying shoe would suddenly leave Evelynn to dodging to the side as it sailed harmlessly past. And then a second double take as a second shoe flung itself straight at Marshal. Reflexively, a hand would jerk forward, fingers grasping at his shirt to pull him a step towards her and out of harm's way. "Mind yourself, Zhang!" She scolded the co-captain. "You almost hit us..."

"As I was trying to say..." Her gaze would linger in the direction of the wayward shoes' source before finally peeling back to Marshal, hand releasing him and hastily smoothing down the new wrinkling of his top. "Would you help me with this?" A crinkled paper dampened only by fingertips where they had held it would be held out towards him. "It seems the canon has deigned to grant me a new dare. I thought perhaps... you might oblige..?" While it had seemed second nature in the moment to demand his summon, resolve was trickling away as quickly as the rivulets of water down her neck. It felt more than a little awkward asking him to help her with such a task as fixing her hair. Although she supposed it might have been even worse with anyone else, so there was really no helping it.

The paper would barely be plucked from her fingers, however, before three became a company with Zhang's arrival. Storm grey eyes snapped in their direction, almost rolling with the exhalation of an airy laugh. "No harm..." Evelynn replied by means of an acceptance to the apology as the shoes were put back upon their rightful places. "Though why you sought to fling them in the first place— What?"

For a second time, Evelynn would find herself cut off, blinking. "I am not..." She could have sworn she had just heard Pax refer to her as Marshal's girlfriend. Right before the concession of just a friend. And her erratic gaze bounced between Zhang and Marshal several times as though searching for some piece of information to which she had not been made privy. "No...We—" More than a little confused, heat rising to her face, Evelynn would stammer out the initial intention to correct, only to be cut off again with being dragged off to the side. A feat that Zhang would find quite easy, actually, given their beater's strength. It was all the prefect could do just to step along with the guidance to keep even a modicum of dignity in the process.

When the two were finally away enough to satisfy her co-captain, Evelynn would extract her arm from the other and immediately return to smoothing out her attire. As though she weren't still dripping wet in uncomfortably clingy linens. "Oh... lovely..." Evelynn would intone, entirely sarcastic, with the realization that yet another dare was upon her when the last was still unfulfilled. Honestly. What sort of moderator allowed the thread to progress at such a speed as to force actions to be completed so hastily. A wary eye would be cast Zhang's way, and at the mention of a ring pop, the prefect would halt altogether, arms lifting to cross over beneath her chest. For a split second, horror flashed across Evelynn's face, cheeks threatening to bloom a bright red. It was quickly exhumed, however, with the realization that the dare was not nearly as intimate as it had initially seemed. So great was her relief, in fact, that a smirk grew steadily upon her lips.

"Very well," she replied without any sign of trepidation for the task ahead of her. "But as it happens... I have a dare for you as well, and you have gifted me quite the idea. So I shall model it after your own." With a nod of her chin in the direction of the snack table, she would explain, "I dare you to take an apple from the table. The next person you draw for a dare, you will dare them to eat the apple with you. At the same time. Face to face, teeth biting into it simultaneously. Until you both have finished it."

And with that, a mischievous twinkle in her eye, Evelynn would pluck the ring from Zhang's outstretched hand and saunter over to Marshal. As much of a show of confidence as she had put on, however, she could feel her feet growing more sluggish with every step closer. Mountains of mole hills. That's what she was doing. It was hardly that big of a task. Quite small, in fact, in the grand scheme of things. She could have been dared to serenade someone, or to kiss someone, or to divulge a secret, or whisper something embarrassing, or any number of other things. Instead, she had only been tasked with this. Was it silly? Quite. But harmful? Hardly. She needed simply to have it done with. With a mental shake of her head, she steeled herself and strode forward again.

"Mar—" By the time she had come face to face with him, his name stuck in her throat. So she cleared it, swallowing away her hesitation and taking another breath. "Marshal.." She tried again, successfully this time. Lowering to a knee, she held the ring pop out to him.

In truth, she'd considered not. Nothing in the dare had specified that she had to hold it out or even have it visible at all. Just that she needed to kneel. Not even before him. It could have been to the side, she supposed. But that would not have been in the spirit of the dare, and given that she would have to contend with Zhang for the rest of the school year, she thought it best to see it through with as much flair as she could muster. Even if that meant that she had to break eye contact the second it was made because she couldn't bear the weight of the amusement that was surely boring down upon her. Even if that meant pretending her face wasn't quickly growing the colour of her tangled tresses.

"Will you, Marshal..." The knobbled bouncing of an object tumbled its way over towards her. The trajectory of the rolled apple wasn't quite right, though. Evelynn had to lean forward to catch it, nearly tipping herself off balance. But she recovered well enough, rocked back to her previous kneeling position and presented the fruit with a flourish upon the fleshy platter of her palm. "..help me to eat this apple?"
Action: Squeezing water out of her clothes, asking Marshal to help her complete the hair dare, being stolen by Pax, getting her dare, giving Pax their dare, and then going to one knee and proposing to Marshal

Interactions/Mentions: @Emmie Bailey @Monica Evans, @Evelynn Decipio & @Marshall Mozor

Emmie Bailey would admit that she had a fear of spiders. He would nod in affirmation, apparently, he was not hot even with his blindly concave pecs. Tough crowd. Fine, fine... whatever he would resign himself to perpetual failure in that regard. He only had control over his actions, not the actions of others.

Another girl would show up, he would look down at her as she chose to stop just short of walking into or over him. "Yeah?" He would say after the first few seconds of silence awkwardly as she gave him a stare down. "Uh--" he took a step back, away from the strange little girl. Monica Evans' dare would translate rather awkwardly as he looked to either side, attempting to avoid her insistent gaze. "Okay then?" There was the inflection of a question as he attempted to find something else to do before she announced her dare as a concluding and initiating statement.

He was being dared to use the slippery jinx on the plank and then 'penguin slide' off the plank. Honestly, it sounded like a glorious means of escape. An escape he would make with the terrible grace of the same named flightless bird. "That's it?" He replied incredulously to the weirdly intimidating girl. It was an awkward departure, a cross from feeling as if he was propositioned and threatened, he could not get away from her soon enough. He would catch his "cannonball" in his off-hand and read the name Marshall Mozor. Did he know the fellow? No, not really. He was not particularly relevant to the Mahoutokoro student but the fact that they did not have an obviously ethnic name made it easy for him to figure it out after his penguin slide.

His main hand had taken his wand from his holster, he certainly had the dexterity to accomplish this task. With a wave of his hand and the muttered incantation he would cast the slippery jinx onto the plank. The plank did not appear changed visually, he had to hope that it worked. If not, he was going to have a torso of splinters. With characteristic cautious hesitation, the sort of a person that was not absolutely insane he would mentally egg himself on. Go for it. Get this over with.

A few brisk paces to lead into a belly flop and a silent prayer that he would fall onto a surface reminiscent of a non-stick frying pan rather than a splintery floor. He would slide recklessly, his arms instinctively flailing as he willed himself to not scream as he slid and became airborne. There was that moment of weightlessness before gravity would take hold and he would plummet. He let out a girlish scream, it happened, and then there was a splashdown.

He could swim, the pureblood had lessons in a number of subjects. None the penguin slide, however he was a strong swimmer at the very least even with heavy pants and shoes. He would dip underwater and swim towards the broadside of the ship, gulping the air as he breached the surface. There was likely a ladder or similar climbing implement, that being more challenging than the swim itself.

Saturated, he would return to the deck of the ship. He would comb his hands through his wet red hair, this would have been a promising scene for thirsty chicks had he obtained a better beach bod but he resembled a damp matchstick rather than a hot swim model. The lighthouse light-like pectorals now gleaned with the blinding fury of a thousand white hot suns.

He would approach his quarry, leaving a trail of water in his wake. "Marshall?" He would take a wild guess, possibly get it wrong if there was no response and if so, he would ask again. "Hey, you Marshall?" There would be a reaction ultimately more than likely, and when there was, he would have to ask his truth.

"Top three crushes from your school and why, loudly now," he would announce as he offered a crumpled, damp slip of paper. He was busy dealing with Evelynn apparently, not every woman could be as buff as Winnie. Just a bit of water. Just a short climb, even he was able to accomplish both. He already assumed with his theatrical concern that Eve was among the top three but due to the lack of physical touch characteristic of partners it was either unexpressed, unrequited or unwanted. All three were equally hilarious he reasoned. His brows raised as he glanced over at the damp ragdoll that was fished out of the water.

There was vitriol in Marshall voice as he had a statement of his own. Delicious, he had Marshall's dare.

”I dare you-“

He could not help but chuckle, what was he going to make him do? His hand, flat-palmed would hit the teen in the chest and send him staggering back with incredible force. The glass canon that Pride represented was wholly vulnerable to the act of machismo as he sent the boy flying backwards without the use of the flipendo spell.

”to get a life.”

He would barely here the last part he instinctively attempted to grab hold of the rail, not teeter off the still slick plank. No, he would slip as if he had comically stepped onto a banana peel and tumble back into the very water he had just escaped.

Indeed, these briny depths of a created lake he would splash down and come back up to the surface with a kick of his legs. He would swim back to the starboard side of the ship and climb the ladder. Now out of breath, he was in no shape for all this swimming and climbing and falling. "Found one at the bottom of the lake he huffed, truth nerd."
Action: Marshall was given a truth question: top three crushes and why. Mathias continues with [dare]. will continue this post after Marshall has a chance to react since Eve left him a lot.

MODERATION POST—Round IV
On the heels of having helped Arjan dress to impress, Evelynn Decipio would be approached by Hiro as he went about the ship assigning numbers. Taken aback by her own relative position, it would be the oddly forward thought that would catch her most off-guard. But not nearly as much as Mathias coming out of nowhere to push her from the boat. Water would rush to meet her as cryptic words bounced around her head and she would have to climb dripping back to the boat, where the cannon would deliver her a new dare, for which she would summon Marshal Mozor to help.

Monica Evans would receive the stunningly handsome Arjan Oberoi for her dare. Amazingly enough, she wouldn't become entirely speechless by his gorgeous bod on approach, even when she did acknowledge him as 'fairly' attractive. His task would be one of subtlety—as though Arjan were capable of such a thing. He would have to change the hair of the first person he looked at next (after spinning around five times) to pink. Without being noticed. Easier said than done! Which was probably why his author hadn't yet posted. He definitely needed some time to think through his strategy. Probably.

EmmaLee LeDames had been more than satisfied with Pax's bananary feast, giggling through the feast. When it came time to load her name back into the cannon, however, she did so dutifully, then promptly received Monica Evans as her assignment. To her would go a truth, it was deemed. A rather curious truth, it would turn out, as EmmaLee inquired in to whether the girl believed in any specific superstitions. And apparently, she would believe in several. There were socks that she had to wear for every game, lest she play poorly (hopefully she was allowed to wash them regularly). Then there was the notion that it was bad luck to spill salt. And that if you breathed while passing a cemetery, you could end up cursed. Not like attending Hogwarts wasn't liable to get you cursed...

Hufflepuff prefect Emma Wynn would have a momentary down. The poor girl would be wrenched when told she was near the bottom of a superficial silly hierarchy. It really had been a rather cruel dare for Hiro to play out. Hopefully the distraction of Marshal calling her name and asking what she liked the least about being a prefect. A totally innocuous question that definitely didn't have anything to do with Marshal having inside information on the trials and tribulations that Emma had endured at the hands of a couple unruly upperclassmen with a lack of respect for authority figures. That aside, Emma would respond that giving detentions was her least favourite thing, with a dash of self-depreciation.

Evidently keen to move on from that, Emma would seek out EmmaLee LeDames, the target of the paper she had been given. For her, it would be a truth. The question: Who has been the most difficult person she has met at camp. It was an intriguing query, which could be made all the more interesting if that special someone happened to be on that very boat. They wouldn't be, however. Nor would the person even be named. Instead, EmmaLee would provide a cryptic answer of tentmate drama and alluding to a certain Durmstrang girl of whom she was not particularly fond. But who that girl was... who was to say?

Hiro Bakugo seemed right at home on the ship, flitting from spot to spot completing dares, answering questions, and handing out each in turn to those requested. This time around, he would have to find Emmie Bailey, and find her he would. More than a little excited about the prospect of being able to give her BOTH a truth AND a dare, he took a moment to think about it. For the question, he asked what she would do if she could do something and not get caught (and why). Whereas the hope might have been to uncover some deliciously secret information about the girl, the only thing that would be ascertained was that she was a rebellious nerd. She liked to sneak into the Library's restricted section to read some of the books there. Which restricted question would be left uncertain since the one at the Hogwarts' Library was entirely inaccessible to students outside of their NEWT years. But still a restricted section somewhere. With books. Ravenclaw. Typical. Should we have expected anything else. As for the dare, she was given the mission to tickle Pax until they laughed. And so off Emmie would go to try to sneak up on Pax and tickle their waist.

Marshal Mozor was not having the time of his life. It seemed to be that the more he tried to have fun, the more the world decided that he needed pain instead. To remind him to count his blessings, of course. Not that everything on the boat was necessarily negative. His interaction with Emma could even be considered a bit touching, the interaction even tied with a bow in the form of his signature wink and mischievous grin. From there would be an encounter with Emmie, wherein she dared him to confess his undying adoration to one of the other girls. Something that would make him pause. A keen eye might even have noticed his eyes trail in a certain direction at the prompt, although he would complete the task with fervor, twisting the delivery of the dare in a way that made it more okay for him to swallow while still technically staying within the rules; and EmmaLee would have a little taste of that flowery Marshal charm for it.

Then he was left alone, time permitted to notice and fester in the resulting envy as Arjan was pampered and preened. Although that irritation would turn to panic as soon as Mathias arrived on the scene to push Evelynn overboard. Marshal had rushed to the rail, by all appearance ready to dive after her as though expecting to play the role of the valiant hero. Not that she would need it. So he was left to seek revenge on the perpetrator. Not that Mathias would allow it. Conveniently, Mathias Pride had been given a dare to slick up the gangplank and penguin slide off. It was the perfect escape from a potential confrontation. If a bit silly in appearance. It was fine. Marshal would take the moment to rescue a hat while Evelynn and Mathias climbed the ladders back to the deck.

Only then would Marshal confront Mathias. The latter would act first, however. In a moment where Tatsu the world seemed to conspire in impossible ways, the two boys had been assigned to each other for that round. True to Mathias' typical cunning, he would challenge Marshal to reveal his top three crushes from the school and why. Tunnel-visioned (and definitely not affected by time-bubbling limitations of forum RP), Marshal would counter by daring him to get a life before pushing him right back off the deck and over the rails to the water below again. Mathias' question would go unanswered as Marshal finally turned to Evelynn to assist her.

Dog!Pax Zhang was rather a hit and seemed to go well with the dare they had recently received. Tasked with having to eat a banana with no hands, they would simply go at it like a pup, eating it right from the deck. After a strange interaction with one of the foreign students that would lead to no particular action, Pax would seek out Evelynn Decipio where she stood with Marshal. Whisked away, Pax would dare her to carry out the fallacy of a pretend proposal to Marshal with a bit of a twist ending. And Evelynn would, going down on one knee, presenting the ring pop, and everything. The only thing that remained to be seen was how Marshal would react, and if it would in any way spur along their dynamic in the way that Pax might have hoped it would.

And it would likely be somewhere around this time that Mathias would reappear, reminding Marshal of his yet unfinished Truth.

Not one to be out done, of course, Evelynn would return in kind. In a serendipitous moment, Evelynn happened to also have been granted Pax as her target. And to them, she would also deliver a dare. In fact, hers would be inspired by the one she had received. Pax would have to take an apple to whoever they next had to deliver a dare to, and dare that person to eat the apple with them. At the same time. Like an indirect, sensual kiss. There would be no actual contact if the two carried out the action carefully, but that didn't mean it wouldn't be awkward all the same.

Smirking, and evidently satisfied with Marshal's performance, Emmie Bailey would continue vibing on the ship with the rest. Her next assignment had been Emma Wynn, to whom she would have to deliver a question to be answered truthfully. Unfortunately for Emma, she would then have to reveal the most embarrassing thing she had ever done in her life.

The last official round was announced to everyone.

They were all told that if they wished they could continue to issue out truths and dares but the game was over.

Hiro opened up the last piece of paper with a name written on it for his last official truth or dare. A familiar name greeted his eyes, Emmie Bailey. He'd gotten her again! A faint smile came to his lips as he thought for a few seconds. What truth should he give her this time? Relationship or love questions were popular, along with detention or getting into trouble questions. He'd go with the former. Hiro headed off to find Emmie again and was able to track her down fairly easily. "Hey, Emmie! We meet again!" The boy called out to her with a bright smile on his face.

"If you wanted to confess to someone, what would you say to try and get them to go out with you?" Hiro asked, curious. At least he hadn't asked her for a name or description of the person she might like.

He waited to see how she would react to his question and glanced around the area. Hiro was hoping to spot Emma, the girl from before who seemed to have taken the 'ranking' dare he'd gotten quite hard. After he'd finished with Emmie, he intended on tracking Emma down and making sure she was doing alright since then. The last thing he wanted was for her to get traumatized over her ranking. Just because Hiro didn't find her attractive didn't mean she wasn't attractive! He needed to make sure she knew this. After all, you couldn't please everyone with your own looks.

Even Hiro.

He knew there were probably lots of people who didn't find him attractive at all. But there also people who did.

It was the same thing, as long as you didn't care about pleasing everyone with your looks, you'd be fine. Ah, there she was. Emma wasn't actually too far away from him and Emmie right now. Perfect. He'd go after her shortly. Time passed and as the game ended, Hiro looked around for some sign of Emma but didn't see her anywhere nearby. Well, that was a shame. It didn't matter, he could easily track her down later and make sure she hadn't taken his earlier words to heart. But now it was time to grab a snack, so his stomach wouldn't keep grumbling all of the time.

He couldn't sneak up on people if his stomach ended up giving him away, right?
