A Peaceful Mind Club meeting - page 5 - Grounds

The club meeting went on for another hour or so. They played truth or dare, and then Eskimo baseball before taking a break to eat some snacks and discuss life.

As the meeting wrapped up, Bailey thanked all of the people there and said “Thanks so much for coming! And Simon, thanks so much for joining us! If you want to join the club officially, just shoot me an owl! We would love to have you!”

Then bailey turned to Kim and said “Thank you so much for coming! It was nice to find out who you are! Hopefully we can see and recognize each other more, and get to chat!”

Next Bailey spoke to Shanelle: “Thank you for coming! It was so great to get to talk to you and get to know you more! Same as Kim, hopefully we can stop and chat more! I loved talking with you!”

As all of the members left, one by one, Bailey picked up her stuff, putting the lid on the lemonade. She had offered for the members to take the last few meringue, so she took the empty container and put it in her bag.

As she walked back up to the castle bailey smiled. She considered the meeting to be a success, and she looked forward to the other meetings that would follow!

Bailey responded to his question.

The girl's answer was interesting and Kim shook his head at her words.

Bloody hell. He'd completely forgotten that she'd taken over the club, not made it. She'd gotten off pretty easy with this question. Kim resolved to ask a harder one next time. As Bailey directed her question at Shanelle, the dark haired boy leaned forward to grab some more lemonade and another meringue. They were actually tasty, a great invention on Bailey's part, even though she hadn't really created them. She might have made these particular ones.

But she hadn't been the first person to have come up with the concept of them. The game continued onward with most of the participants selecting truth over dare. But then, that was understandable. After all, they didn't want to get into trouble and were out in the middle of 'nowhere'. There weren't many dares they could do in this particular area without moving around a lot. Soon after the game, they started to play Eskimo Baseball, which Kim enjoyed.

He'd always been into sports.

As long as his feet remained on the ground, or was relatively near it. Heights = freakout.

Once Eskimo Baseball was done, they sat back and relaxed a little, merely enjoying the fresh air. And then, Bailey announced their first meeting was over. Kim nodded at Bailey's next words. "Well, we're already really familiar with eachother. You were one of the first people I met and interacted with for a time at the castle. Colin and Taizu being the other two. We just didn't know we were Quill Pals too until right now."

Kim said with a faint twitch of his lips. He waited for the other members to leave first and hung back to help Bailey pack the stuff up. Since the others hadn't really taken the leftovers, Kim did so himself. After all, wasting food was not something he liked doing. "Zàijiàn!" He said, raising a hand to wave at Bailey, using the Mandarin word for 'goodbye', a habit he tended to do lately. "I'll send you an owl later!" Kim told her and then the boy headed off.
