He was familiar with both of them, although wouldn't exactly say they were friends. Choosing to first go for the BBQ to get something to eat, and hoping to skip the talent show, Kim headed there first. Upon arriving at his destination, the duelist walked under the large archway as Kibō looked up at all the colorful decorations and hissed his appreciation from Kim's left shoulder. Kim took a pronoun badge for he/him and pinned it onto his red Durmstrang uniform. He glanced around, taking in his surroundings and zeroed in on the BBQ grill. Kim grabbed some BBQ food and then headed towards the long tables where food could be decorated. He chose a seat near some of the rectangle shaped cookies and plain cupcakes, along with a variety of different colors and edible decorations. This was something he actually would enjoy doing because he'd always loved cooking and baking things. Decorating only tended to make things better for those who consumed. Placing his food plate down, he got started by picking up some white icing to smooth it onto the cookie before him. The first trick was to get the white base to be thin enough to be able to work with but thick enough so it wouldn't show any cookie beneath. Lost in thought, Kim completely forgot about where he was and who was around him. Because he was trying to figure out a design for the cookie and putting his all into making it look awesome. He was thinking about making it into a flag and then writing a name over it at a diagonal angle. Whose name it would be remained to be seen. As that would be the last thing he thought of since taking care of the base and then the designs on top of the base was first and foremost on his mind now. tag. Kim remained oblivious to what was going on with Aodhan's brigade a short distance away from him. After all, the white haired fifteen year old's entire focus was on making sure the rectangular cookie was decorated perfectly with his artistic abilities coming into play with icing. By the time Aodhan had discussed his plan with the others, Kim had finished making three of the six colors for the gay flag of his.
Red, orange and yellow stripes of icing could be seen on the cookie. He'd made the stripes the exact same length so there was still room for three more stripes of the same length. Those stripes would be green, blue and violet. The cookie looked so outstanding right now and it wasn't even done yet! How much better would the finished product look like?! It was around this time that someone approached him and spoke, giving him what seemed to be a friendly smile.
Kim looked up at and studied him for a few seconds. Despite the fact that Damien was smiling, it didn't seem to reach his eyes, a familiar smile that reminded him of himself. If he'd been really social, he'd have struck up a conversation with him and tried to make him into a friend of his. But Kim had never been able to be as social as some people. Not because he didn't want to but because of past trauma. Still, Damien seemed a little different to him. But who knew what he was thinking of.

XX | It was time for the summer quidditch games to begin! Tone had been looking forward to them for the longest time. Or at least that was how it had felt to him. He'd gotten a taste of it earlier when they'd first arrived at camp through an unofficial game. But it had resulted in knocking him out during the first round, reminiscent of the traumatic time Tone had suffered from a past match. But unlike that time, he'd gone out in a different way, he'd gone out protecting someone rather than just getting hammered and contributing absolutely nothing for his team like before. So it had softened the blow a little. But it still hurt both physically and mentally for him. He'd missed the rest of the match because he'd been unconscious. But after some magical healing, Tone was up and ready to get back into the game so to speak. Perhaps he'd need to work on his evasion more if this continued to happen. He'd been trying to increase his strength lately but if history kept repeating itself, what point was there in doing that when he would just be taken out early? Maybe evasion was the way to go. Or even work on his stamina, although that was good. Probably from a lifetime of chasing other people on the ground to entice them into becoming his friends. A sigh escaped his lips as Tone reached the quidditch stadium and plastered a wide smile on his lips, his defense mechanism against others. The boy looked happy, energetic and friendly, obviously nothing was wrong with him, right? But Tone still felt unsettled ever since the events of Pyre. Not because he was afraid of danger but because his confidence in himself had been shattered since then. But Tone didn't want to talk about it with anyone out there now. Mostly since he didn't know what to say. At least now he could focus on the quidditch match. Unless history repeated itself yet again. But hopefully that would not happen. Gripping his Firebolt in his hand, Tone flashed his usual smile at everyone gathered there. He nodded to his fellow players and then mounted his broom, taking up into the sky with a flourish. Hovering in the air near his fellow beater Sara and good friend, Tone inclined his head towards him and then glanced over at the opposing side. Oddly enough, Tone wasn't that vocal this time up in the air.... |

 Colin smiled back at him when their eyes met and Kim felt a little better. It seemed as if their friendship remained intact, even after all of this time having been apart. But there was something that bound their original small circle together, something that would be with them always and forever, even if they didn't see eachother that often. Drawn from his thoughts as a familiar scent came into the room, Kim glanced over to see Bailey enter. She looked gaunt and depressed from what she'd gone through over the summer. But it worked for her costume and the event going on right now. Kim smiled at her as she spoke and inclined his head to her. "You look beautiful, Bailey. Perfect for the event." Kim replied, letting his eyes flicker over her for a few seconds. Kibō hissed his appreciation too from his perch on his shoulder, his gem-like eyes gazing at the female. "I wouldn't be surprised if you won the contest, you chose your attire well." Kim remarked. "I would have worn a new outfit but couldn't really think of what to wear. So I opted for a previous outfit that had gone over well in the past. Remember our bash? It's the same one from back then. I don't expect to win anything for my choice." He said with a shrug, not really caring now. "Colin's here. If you want to say hi." Kim added, giving Bailey the option of choosing to interact with him or not. It was entirely up to her and her preferences. |

He was sporting colored hair again, a bright blue this time, which implied he was slowly returning to his usual self again. Of course, there were still some concerns within his mind this year, such as Bailey's temperament and the unexpected announcement of all four Head of Houses retiring from their positions. But Kim couldn't focus on that right now. There was a duel to be won first which was his priority at the moment. He stepped up onto the piste and took his place, only to see a familiar face. Damion. Kim hadn't seen him in quite some time but everyone had become busy over the past few years with various things, so it was quite understandable. He inclined his head to Damion and took out his wand, readying himself to cast his spell. In a perfect world, both of them would win but with them both being on opposite sides, that was impossible. Unless their teams mixed up and Kim went to Damion's team or Damion went to Kim's.
