[font=Times new roman]Well, yet another underwhelming round, Delilah certainly expected a lot more chaos than was happening, out of 11 spells, 3 actually did what they were meant to, she watched as 6 spells got dodged or just missed entirely, she definitely expected significantly more insanity as she stood, watching, very few people were actually getting injured. But a couple people did get hit this time around, Starlee was hit by a tarantallegra and started doing an irish jig, that had to be entertaining. It did make Delilah chuckle, but only because she wasn’t at the dancing end of it, she did simultaneously feel a bit bad.

At least Starlee wasnt the only one though, as Samantha was hit with a blast of wind, Del grimaced, that looked like it hurt a bit. Although that definitely wasn’t the worst thing that happened. She could see Henry casting up towards the sky and immediately was concerned. This was a spell Delilah had never used and never been used against her and she never wanted it to be. Meteleojinx. It seemed quite powerful as well. A large cloud grew over the group, only sparing Henry from it’s shade. Delilah could see in the fog that there was definitely more static in this one than normal.

If you placed Samantha and Cash in the same room it was a guarantee that there would be insults. Not just one or two, no, as many as possible. "Well, it is not trash I am talking. It is a fact that you are an idiot, I am just reminding you of the truth. I know you have a hard time remembering things, so I am just helping you." Samantha said back. "I mean, I am fine with it being a reflection of who I am, I am very helpful," she said with a little smile.

Juniper not only had Samantha's back with spells, but she also told Cash to shut up. Samantha thought it was nice of Juni to stick up for her, but she didn't need it. Besides, she knew Cash was going to say something about it. But still, Samantha smiled at the first year, before she replied. "If you mean the tall idiot who called me trash and goes by the name of Cash," the brunette giggled, Cash called her trash, but their name went way better with trash than hers did, "then yeah, I don't like them at all. And it is great you hit them with incendio!" Samantha said like a proud mom. She gloated, Juni had hit the idiot, the brunette was proud of the first year.

Samantha aimed her wand at Cassandra, ready to cast obscuro again. Her aim wasn't that bad, Cash had just dodged good and her spell missed. Luckily the idiot didn't hit her, or Samantha would have been way too embarrassed to function. Though Samantha hadn't been hit by the snake, the same couldn't be said for Lucia's spell. The badger became more annoying with every spell she casts. Lucia had used the same spell she had in the official duel from a little over a week ago.

It didn't take long for Samantha to notice the large cloud, which was created by Henry, hanging above her head in the dueling club. "Great!" she said sarcastically, "as if there weren't enough clouds already." The reference to the fog went paired with a dramatic eye roll.

Juniper grinned, noting that Sam called Cash them. "Well then, I'm certainly glad I hit them." She watched as another person cast a spell at her partner and Juniper gasped. "Watch out! Tarantallegra!" She pointed her wand at the girl and made the girl start an Irish Jig. She put her hands on her hips. "I feel like I've been played." Juniper herself was from Ireland, so she couldn't help but scoff. During all of this, Henry cast a spell at the ceiling, and clouds formed. She didn't know what the purpose of those things were, to her they were just fluff balls in the sky. "Clouds? Really? I'm shaking in me boots." Juniper glanced over and spotted Sam getting hit by a burst of wind and cringed. "Tough luck."

Her ears picked up the familiar voice she knew as Henry Knight and she couldn't help but butt in. Annoyance crawled across her face and was clearly visible in her eyes. It was visible in the way she huffed and gripped her wand a bit too tightly, fighting an inward battle to not make a remark. Of course, the devil on her shoulder won out and she directed her annoyance to her good friend Henry Knight.

"Seriously, Henry? Are you Deaf or something? Cash was threatening Sam and calling her trash! Cash started it! Tell them to calm down." She shook her head in disbelief and scanned the room for her next target, crossing her fingers no one cast a spell at her. She also kept an eye on the clouds around her, not trusting the static in the air. How many people were in here? How long would this take? She sighed and locked her eyes on a new target.

Major fustration his way. While he did what he did the last round, he was now apparently knocking on death's door, attempting to cast one horrid spell, possibly known as Fumos. At Lucia. He wanted to pass on a message that he was going to break from the group, teams or not. He does not bode well with partners. He even broke up with his boyfriend because he got stressed. And as he dodged the nasty curse of the bogies, he freaked.

CLAIR dared to cast such a disgusting spell... at a badger? Well... someone whose mascot was the badger. How dare she? "Clair. you have better watch your back, or else, I will personally make sure you're having an endless cold."

He hated when he was targeted, and he knew it was severe when he actually felt the pain. "god damn it. what the hell? why am i so unlucky?"

He looked around, now running to hide behind Juniper Kelly, his destined cousin, and worst enemy. TO be honest, he really hoped that Juniper got hit with the spells. It probably would consist of Cody burning at the stake from the result of Page's fury, but would it really be the first time she was hit with a spell? The first time she actually did something that her cousin has intercepted?

A pause, and then the group sprang into action. Well, more shouted into action - although spells could work just as well when whispered as when screamed, the latter seemed to be the favoured option in duels. Lucia lost track of most individual spells in the momentary chaos of mass spellcasting, but just managed to seek out those of her teammates.

@Starlee Kennedy's Incendio Duo seemed to be going pretty well until she caught the eye of some second-year [@Aurora Ranvier] with rainbow highlights in her hair. The shock made her suddenly twist the wand the wrong way and aim into nothing, caught off guard by the girl's pretty menacing aura of go away. "Don't worry," Lucia reassured her teammate. "It happens sometimes." It was a bit concerning that there were so many scary people at Hogwarts that incidents as this weren't all that rare, but it wasn't like there was any way to avoid them. Also, the girl's hair looked cool, so that was one point for her, Lucia supposed.

@Henry Knight, meanwhile, went for a different tactic this round, creating an enchanted storm cloud which hovered menacingly above them, just skirting around Henry himself, but threatening everyone else with its crackles of bright light. "That looks pretty powerful, Henry," Lucia murmured. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not.

Alright, it was Lucia's turn now. "Ventus!" she cried, twirling her wand in the direction of the unlucky @Samantha Salwis. A jet of wind pushed itself out of the blackthorn wood and curled itself around the Ravenclaw, lifting her up the ground and prompting a compliement from Henry. "Thank you." Lucia looked on with something like pride at her cast. "I'm- okay." It was true. Not just in this duel, where she still hadn't been hit with any damaging spells, but full stop too. The free-for-all was making for a welcome distraction. And although Lucia hated the idea of wanting distraction, the fact that there was a smile on her face surely proved that it was exactly what she needed right now. "Are you?"

"Star, what are you doing?!" Upon turning back to her group, Lucia realised that Star was hopping around in some sort of crazed dance. "This isn't the time to- ohh." The Slytherin girl's dancing didn't become any less erratic when Lucia talked to her, and she suddenly realised that the younger girl must have been hit with a dancing-feet spell. "Ahh. I hate those things," Lucia winced sympathetically.

She then turned again to check what @Cassandra Ironwoods was doing, only to find that they must have caught the eye of rainbow-highlights girl just as Star had: their well-cast slug-vomiting spell (ewww; Lucia hated those things even more than dancing-feet spells) ended up miles away from its target. "Next time! Right?" Lucia suddenly worried whether that had sounded comforting, or just plain patronising. She hoped for the former, but suspected the latter.

The green eyes let out a laugh when Juniper defends Sam's honor. "You just let that dwarf defend your honor, Salwis?"They mocked the Ravenclaw. "I know you are weak because you know,"The Beater hinted Sam about her blood status Muggle-born but this time they would not say it out loud unless Sam managed to irk them.

"But I do not know you are that weak,"Cash insulted the second-year some more. "And I guess you both completed each other as both of you are annoying"They uttered and rolled their eyes. Cash let out a faux audible yawn when Sam called them as an idiot and how helpful she was. "Boring!,"The green expressed.

"The fact you kept calling me an idiot throughout today and you do not have a new way to insult me, it reflects whose the bigger idiot between us, Salwis"They stated. "And did I tell you it gets old fast? Found a new way to entertain me,"They continued. "You got sorted into the house of smart and wise, yet you are una estúpida persona a stupid person. I felt sorry for your house, truly"Cash said in a sarcastic manner. Their thick Spanish accent seeped out.

Then they saw Sam pointed her wand at the third year doing the same spell that blindfolded Cash in the previous rounds. "It seems you are not just an idiot. You also a one-trick pony"They mocked Sam after Cash dodged Sam's attempt to blindfold the Cuban descendant for the second time. In retaliation, the Latinx swung their wand in the direction of Sam but their spell also failed.

"Seriously?!"They exclaimed to no one but themselves. Cash wanted their spell to take affect on Sam. They will definitely enjoy watching Sam chugged out slugs. But they did not get what they were wished for. The same fate also downed on Starlee. As Juniper's spell hit the bubbly blonde makes Starlee's feet dance the Irish Jig.

"You okay there, Star?"They asked the Viridian Viper duelist. If Cash did not too busy throwing insults at Sam, they probably high-five Lucia for hitting the Ravenclaw duelist with a Wind Jinx. "Great shot, Luce!"Cash compliment Lucia. It seems old habit, die hard as Cash kept calling Lucia by 'Luce' even though the green eyes know that Lucia did not too fond about the nickname.

And the snowball effect took place. At first Cash and Sam throw insults at each other. Then Henry defended Cash by telling Sam to calm the hell down. Because of that Juniper named called Henry as being deaf and Cash felt this a bit get out of hand. "Oi! you two, butted out!"They said to both Henry and Juniper as kindly as they could.

Then the Quidditch player turned to the blue-eyed boy. "I appreciate your help but this is between Sam and me, mate"They told Henry. Cash knows the boy is loyal to a fault but they did not like when others meddle in their business even though that person is Cash's best mate. Henry is genuinely a good person and they did not want the boy to get tangled up in the hatred between Cash and Sam.

"Why is Sam calling you out? Just try to ignore it and focus, she's wrong anyway"Henry spoke at Cash in French. "Because she is a M-"Cash caught themselves before they blurted out Mudblood to Henry's face. Cash knew what Henry felt every time he heard that word. "Because she is a dim-witted person, that's why"The young Ironwoods let out a huff.

"And beside she is irrelevant and she just a speck of dust on my shoes"They added some more. "She worth nothing. I could care less what she thought of me"Cash concluded as they prepared themselves for the next round.

Two spells directed at one person. Someone who was vulnerable, someone who couldn’t see clearly due to the stupid fog. But she was quick, faster than the wind, passionate as sin, unlike those two mysterious villains who apparently were not competent enough in magic. She felt the room got darker and darker, perhaps someone decided that it was a good idea to create a storm indoors. What a brilliant idea. She had read about a spell like that the other day, which was pretty rare for her to touch a school book, and never got to the point to learn it because of the laziness that pulled her down like a magnetic force. This was working so far, no one had successfully hit the foggy girl. Maybe this way, she could be the winner of the duel. Afterwards, she could tell everyone to never mess with the Aurora Ranvier because this tiny person could be the winner of the most chaotic duel ever existed. Would there be a crown? A bouquet of flowers? Or perhaps a fanbase? Not that she cared about all of those. All she wanted was the five galleons, just so she could buy something cute for Nicholas.

'Easier than practice?' she scoffed at Henry's comment. This felt so different than practice. Starlee didn't even care about the money at stake, she wanted to prove that she was worthy of being on the team, something she hadn't felt since she joined. She nodded back to him with a forced smile, her emotions whirling inside her.

As Starlee prepared herself to attempt another cast at the girl who kept harassing Cash, she again sensed a foreboding feeling, as if something was wrong, coming from the direction of Aurora. At the last moment, she turned as if to dodge a spell coming from the second year, only to be hit by another spell, the dancing feet spell.

She had never actually felt the effects of the spell herself, there was certainly a first time for everything, but suffice to say, she hated it. Her feet began dancing in an irish jig, now completely out of her control. It was maddening. She tried to find the one who cast the spell, but with the piste in such chaos, as well as her earlier distraction, she could only guess. "Damn... It..." she yet again said through gritted teeth as she tried to maintain her composure as her feet moved around wildly. But with Cash's panic attack and the clear hatred across the piste, Starlee was loosing it. While Starlee was usually here for friends and cheeriness, she had inadvertently made a new enemy (Samantha Salwis). Anyone who disliked Cash was an enemy of Starlee as well.

Lucia, or Luce, as Cash had said, called her out on her dancing, Starlee tried hard to reign in her feelings. "I'm not doing this for fun!" she blurted out at Lucia, trying to hold back her tears, her struggling emotions. She was getting overwhelmed, but a small comment from Cash asking about her welfare was able to reign things in, if not momentarily. "I- I'll be okay Cash..." she muttered to the third year, her feet moving around wildly. Henry had asked too, and Starlee nodded back to him, feeling a bit better. She needed to get out of her head, take a step back. She had a team. She had friends. She was worthy. It was time to get her head back in the game.
